This is supposed to be set after the events of "A Dark Night for Bert", which had a Rusted old Steamer tell Bert off for insulting it's carcass, as well as "Arry Learns the Truth", which basically had him have to go to the mainland, and realize that his class has been phased out, and the only reason he's not on the Scrapper's Torch is because of Sodor's policy with their engines. Both of them had their wakeup calls, so they are NOT pleased with Diesel's Behavior.
This was a good story. Diesel really got a taste of his own medicine. All that time when he scared the engines about going to the scrap yard, he finally got a fright from a scrap engine. Serves him right. I wasn't expecting Dudley's face to make an appearance.
Narration goes by a bit fast at some points, and it was a bit difficult to see the scrap engine when it "ran away" from Diesel, but I mean otherwise it's a fun adaptation of this story
not bad, I do love me a good ghost story, and I love to see how other artists narriate this video as you did an interesting job, but Carson’s Video Workshop takes first place with tone, pacing and the “spectral voices”.
You should make a part two to this. Where deisel wakes up the next morning to the rusted husk engine directly in front of him and he resurrected himself but diesel let's out a blood curdling scream and the iron twins see both of them as diesel nearly blows his engine as he runs away but the engine still angery gives chase but before then engine can do anything Gordon arrives and holds him as sir topham hatt steps out and is pissed seeing the engine terrorizing his railway but restored him after cussing him out and exposing his origin story to everyone. I'll let you decide what his name and origin story is and Gordon was there with sit topham because there was a very heavy train that only Gordon could pull as Henry was at the works and he had a meeting. Anyways it's just an idea do with it what you will.
I know many people say the scrapped engine is Dudley (including the Buried Truck), but it doesn’t look like a GNR O2. Plus even if Dudley was scrapped (which he deserved), I find it hard to believe that he would return to the railway just to be cut up.
That’s actually kind of perfectly ironic tho. Dudley does finally get to return to Sodor forever, like he wanted, but it’s so he could be scrapped there, the one thing he was trying to avoid by going by there.
Dudley just wasn't written/thought of yet when Demons was originally made. That's why the design is different. Truck wrote it, so it's more just something being tweaked later. You could probably come up with anything for him coming back that way, but the irony of him making such a big stink, only to actually come back, just not how he wanted is a funny detail when you think about it.
I think that’s because Nino couldn’t find Dudley’s rusted version without a face (or a scrapped O2) so he used a pilot Gordon model. Which ig explains why it is coupled to Dudley’s tender. For a brief second when Dudley’s face appears you can see that he ‘turns into’ an O2 when his face appears before returning to the A1. Also a reason why Dudley could be back on Sodor is that maybe the scrapyard at barrow was overloaded with steam engines to scrap (considering Dudley was probably scrapped around the 50s - 60s). So he taken to the scrapyard at Killdane instead. If you don’t understand what I mean. You can check the video called ‘Past Haunts’ by OptimusPrime.
I am super pumped for the day of the diesels to officially come out on August 3 and there’s one thing I don’t get why wasn’t there any comments and why is it me for kids this channel is made for all ages right?
From that day on, diesel was for sure he never teased the steamies ever again
Didn't think I'd see Diesel arguing with the Iron Twins, thenagain i guess the phrase 'no honour among thieves' comes to mind.

Nice adaptation. It was truly worth while.
What a truly chilling adaptation! Amazing work

Dudley's ghost: I hope Sir Topham Hatt remembers me after that stunt Donald, Bear and Toad pulled on me.
Donald not Edward
@@SatNavDan Oh, you're right. Donald was painted blue in the story. My mistake.

Good job. Especially compare to version from Carson's Video Workshop :P
this is actually very well made
Love the old classic TAF
Lesson learned: “Always respect the dead.”
6:04 CGI dudley.
👍
This reminds me of those old thomas episodes with the scarpyard
It is a really nice story
Where did you get the smelters route from and how did you do the red orange glow effects and the nighttime lighting?

hi dudley
That wasn't dudley, he was a 9F, that was a Pacific A1 but still very interesting though

That's Scrapped Engine Diesel Has Looks Very Similar To Something...
1983 Pilot Gordon model, turned into a scrap engine.
Good Job. 👏🏼
The visuals were great as always but the story telling pace was far to quick aside from that another great episode
i like the idea of Bert being the nice of the two iron twins and 'Arry being the jerk
I much prefer 'Arry and Bert being the same in character when it comes to scrapping and not different.
