4: how the engines have been able to still go on after a number of deadly crashes.

This feels like late 2009 early 2010 Thomas fan content. & that's a good thing. I feel that what's missing from this fandom lately is experimentation like these twists. The overall production quality here was great. I really enjoyed this video.

Whoa, that was so dark! The thought of the engines with their faces taken off like that story of the mine, plus Toby operated on, really made me shiver! 😱 But then it'll explain why Toby is suddenly a coward. Great work with the shading, though.
Well you're the first person I see to adapt this recent scary theory story here.
It really creeped me out when I first read this. It explains why the scrap engines in the show oddly look like most of the characters in the show. Including the model of City of Tauro. And also why the engines suddenly start to act different then how we saw them in the early episodes and/or stories.
I also think in a way this is like a continuation of A Part of me Stayed Behind.
Nicely done on adapting this story. Keep up the great work and take care.

This story feels like how those normies who were scarred by Henry's Tunnel perceive the series: Sir Topham as a Dictator and the engines his puppets. Honestly not a fan of this one or of "A Part of Me Stayed Behind" as they're both so ridiculous, but to each their own.
Holy sh-! Out of all the fan made stories (especially dark, spooky ones), hands down, this has to be the darkest one of them all! I am just stunned at this point, speechless!
This was insanely dark, but honestly it’s explains a ton, the amount the accidents that’s happened on Sodor it honestly doesn’t surprise me with the more serious accidents on the railway that Topham would do something like this

This is probably the most creative way to explain how Awdry’s characters were changed Thomas throughout the classic era and then everyone when hit took over
This goes deep. It follows on the same ground as A Part of Me Stayed Behind including the "save face" line but it takes it to a grander scale as now pretty much all of the engines have been cloned and Sir Topham Hatt now has dark intentions, something very rare in the fandom. Honestly, I'm not sure if I do like this or not as it is a competitor to A Part of Me Stayed Behind which was quick to become popular but was simple in the story, backstory and lore. I'm wary of great ideas and stories in the fandom being milked dry in only a matter of time due to the potential and popularity seen by others all wanting to get a slice. We've seen this with Sodor Fallout and the TUGS theme being used for intros. Of course, it maybe a bit early to say that about this story here but that's just been my observation. Does not ignore that this is still a chilling and well-written story!

The only thing I can say about this in one word is damn (and poor Toby). This was incredibly dark, but at the same time it would kinda make sense how there are so many scrap engines in different places and the flanderization of characters like Percy, Toby, and how characters like Stepney, Hank, Molly, Billy, etc. never appeared again. Thankfully it glad this scenario would never happened as it makes STH look like a man who doesn’t care about his own engines and could just simply replace them if they get damaged badly. But I still think this is probably the darkest Thomas fan video i’ve seen so far

Indeed it was one of the darkest and disturbing moments of the Thomas’ adaptions, same with the Franchise of childhood’s TV series. This is one of pin to show Sir Topham Hatt revealing the truth and his true nature of scrapping his modern engines, which was the most coldhearted based upon the reality to the REAL world. Despite of jeopardy or being exposed the harsh truth, he disposed or commit murdered like he did to poor Toby as he helplessly screams in horror, as his face slowly peeled off with a crowbar.
I would imagine this is a dark and twisted tale that became’s tragic to brutally horrors.
Nino, you had done a IMPOSSIBLE work with the adaption you cook on. And I should praises for Fantastic Mr. S for narrating this and putting with dialogues and acting so realism like it’s on a movie.

So, did Toby’s crew know already and tried to prevent him from finding out? We’re his crew at the start of the story killed and replaced? Did they follow Sir Thopham’s orders willingly? Did they do so under threat?
I mean . . . If you think about it, he is doing a good thing with preservation of life and railway.
Even if it is good business wise doesn't make it morally right even by a sacrifices standpoint, since its pretty well just trapping them in and eternal unknowing limbo, or at least as long as sir topham hatt continues the operations

My Explanations
BoCo = Moved to the Kirk Ronan line after Season 5
Duke = Runs the Bluebell line from Crovan's Gate to Vicarstown seen on Tug's Hit era map
Stepney = His Bluebell Line was never seen again after Season 6 so they had no reason to use him
Fergus = Stopped appearing since the Cement Works stopped being used
Molly = Turned into Rebecca
Billy = His boiler exploded due to his carelessness and is dead

The lost version of Toby’s discovery has been revealed👍 damn that was an intense Thomas fan story, TBH after I witnessed Sir topham hatts hellish act in the end , I figured that it was just a bad dream sequence with Toby waking up the next day with the events of the quarry scene from said episode playing out as usual but with Toby feeling more uncomfortable especially if he see’s sir topham hat.
I think this is non canon and was a nightmare cause those e2 bodies were from before Thomas arrived I think or prototypes.
Imagine if those we're Thomas' brothers And sisters.

This is what I imagine the series be if the non fans were semi right, that Sir Topham Hatt is a maniac, but he doesn't treat his engines like slaves and threatens to kill them.

It may be my twisted sense of humour, but I found some scenes quite funny. Cause it’s true, accidents happen now and again, when people or trains get smart. Just when you think you know what you’re doing. Fate tends to come and collect.
What an interesting take on the quirks of the classic show! Poor old Toby. Excellent work!
Now this was one of, if not the darkest story I've ever read and to see it adapted was even more intense, Topham is really messed up in the head but it does explain the random scrap engines and how characters become different to their original personalities, amazing work!

If you adapt it maybe make Sir Topham Hatt seem like less of a dictator.
I do like this theory as it explains why engines never disappear for overhauls in the TVS as their smokebox would just get put on a new engine when the current one is due for an overhaul.

That was a spooky story. I didn't think for a moment that Toby would be having an adventure like that of his own. The Fat Controller seemed to be behaving very strangely. This feels like a Halloween story. What a surprise this was.

Wow this is totally shocking turns out Thomas and Gordon were the only ones for being destroyed inside that hole turns out the other engines also had terrible crashes just like them to and what is more surprising and very interesting and why Sir Topham Hatt was keeping it as a secret for years until Toby has found out about this and I actually had no idea Thomas and his friends were clones like they were first clones and now the new clones which is right now I have no idea about this
So wait. Does this mean Henry didn't really go to crewe? Sir Topham Hatt just sent his old body for scrap and built a full on new body and placed his face on it? Creepy.
I actualy had the same theory but it involves the scrapped body being melted down into his new parts.😅

While this is really good Idk if I can see this happening if hebwas a greedy man. I mean all of their accidents up to that point were not that serious to need a new body.
So city of Truro somehow found out about it because he was just at the scrapyard for no reason and sir Top decided to just scrap him. Did he make a replica of him though? Railway fans would get angry and confused on where this famous engine went so we had to amigo replica and sent him on his way and then he could just argue to other people that asked about the scrapped version of him that it was just another engine of his class

This is terrifying, first of all. Topham becoming a villain of sorts is insane, i love it. If there’s more written, i’d love to see it become a series of sorts where Topham finally gets found out.
In creepy story universe you can imagine why Toby was out of character in later seasons
Well in different universe I would guess the the show makers made the engines sometimes act out of character during hit era
It explains Seasons 5-7 Toby but I prefer the Hit era as a separate canon.
It explains why in the HiT era old wise engines like Skarloey and Rheanas now act like children instead of wise old men and Edwards shift in personality as well.

During Season 6-12, Edward and Toby were still portrayed as their original age group but Skarloey and Rheneas were retconned to children after Season 6. Though The Old Bridge easily works if you place it in Skarloey's younger years with ignoring Duncan's cameo and the Roller Coaster episode was meant to be a different character.

This is a very interesting theory. Love the idea and concept. A little surprised you didn’t include Bertram though. Could have done quite a bit with him having Smugers face and Dukes body. Lol. On a side note, I may be naïve but is what the Fat Controllers doing really that bad? Technically he’s not actually killing/scrapping the engines. It sounds like the same being lives on in a new engine body, albeit memories being altered some by the change. Correct me if I’m wrong but he didn’t even kill Toby just reset his mind so he wouldn’t remember the conversation.

I mean according to logic the engines can be green watered and put to sleep and get cut up and be fixed so this kind of makes sense but the engines to sleep remove their smoke box doors and put them in new body’s at least that’s what the books say they speak of green water that vehicles drink to go in a deep sleep when they go to be repaired which requires a lot of cutting and welding

That's... exactly why the scrapped E2 existed in the show, it is the pilot model, or well, what happened to it after modifications and repainting as scrap detail, same with City of Truro.

Good theory about death episode being Put Upon. Although I do also think Takes and Plunge and Predicament could be possible. Put Upon probably more likely though.

I like the story, especially the premise, narrator and general cinematography. My only real improvement is to turn to the brightness up a little bit in the environment settings ect.
