DAMN, Henry really faked his illness to let Thomas and Edward out onto the mainline? That's probably the best friend you could ask for. Good job on the adaptation!
Oh this is great, Henry making use of his condition to get back at another engine rather than the usual “underdog” storyline, and the choice of music conveys the magic of these stories extremely well.
I find it fascinating with how Edward looks like an actual vintage locomotive with his large funnel and outdated design. I also like how you use the models of their basis. And I like how Thomas is tall, although a tank engine, doesn't mean he's small. I have heard that actual E2's are very tall.
Also E2 are most seemingly much stronger than K2, which marks that Thomas is actually way much stronger than Edward. As well as weighting a bit heavier than Edward, as a single locomotive, not counting Edward's tender.
THAT WAS THE MOST FANTASTICALLY AWESOME ADAPTION I HAVE EVER WITNESSED! The train went in the right direction in all the stations to Tidmouth, and it really felt like I was seeing a Railway Series Story all at once Visually! Adapt a few more 'Loaned Engine' stories, and you've got a book all about them from the 1920s!
That stunt Henry pulled was priceless! Using his condition to get back at a bully? Brilliant! And even denying what he did to Edward?! Absolute perfection! Henry knew what he did and was proud of it!
Great job! While I like the story on its own merits, it does kind of retroactively make Thomas' burning need to "get out and see the world" in his original appearances a little muddled, since this story would imply that he's already been out on a main line service once before.
I always thought Thomas's backstory of having helped Edward build the line made him more complex. He's not trying to get out of Vicarstown because he's young and thinks he knows it all, he wants out because he knows he's suited for more than just being a station pilot.
@@valritz1489 It kind of puts his enmity with the bigger engines into perspective. Here Thomas and Edward do the heavy lifting and help build the line, all for a few arrogant baggarts to come and talk down to them.
@@at5297 Well, even if Thomas didmt help buikd the line, his esire to leave Viarstown isnt out of arroagance. Especially since the big engins are bigger know-it-alls than him
Quick question. If Thomas and Edward weren't meant for Mainline services; then how come Edward (being a 4-4-0) is not suitable? He was once an former express engine and his class is reach 80-85 mph. Great video.
4-4-0's were pretty outdated by the 1920s, hence why Henry and Gordon, 4-6-2 Pacifics, were bought by the railway. Edward is also not nearly as strong as Henry (when he's steaming well) or Gordon

Basically, he stopped where he was on purpose just so that 87546 wouldn’t be able to leave the sheds and they thought it was just his steaming troubles.
He’s able to pull Henry AND a train but he can’t push Henry out of the way. (Seeing this a second time I’m now realizing he’s blocking the points but couldn’t Thomas just push him out of the way? I get it said all the other engines were busy but Thomas and Edward were free to pull the express.)
E2's (as documented) were much bigger than they seemed. In reality Thomas wouldn't be referred to as a "little engine". This is one of many reasons why in so many fan AUs they change Thomas's basis.
Alfred ! Oh dear! What a proper stuck up. He is! A right pompous one! Oho! Henry taught Alfred a lesson. By having ' a inconvenient lack of steam at the most unfortunate of times!' knowing that Edward and Thomas would pull off a good run.
Love how the engine next to 87546 is just like "Just stop talking"
lol, yeah, Jane's just having none of it XD
DAMN, Henry really faked his illness to let Thomas and Edward out onto the mainline? That's probably the best friend you could ask for. Good job on the adaptation!
And there would be no way for anyone to know! After all, Henry really *did* have steaming issues.
Oh this is great, Henry making use of his condition to get back at another engine rather than the usual “underdog” storyline, and the choice of music conveys the magic of these stories extremely well.
The locomotive equivalent of a disabled person putting a Karen in their place by exploiting said disability
Never knew Henry could be such a savage lol

The amount of incredible work that this video is....perfection! As always, keep up the awesome and delightful work!!! 👍😊👍
can I just say that this sly, "I don't give a damn" Henry is my favorite interpretation of the charater?
He made thomas so accurate he's bigger than Edward that's because Thomas is an E2 engine, Great job on noticing that.
I quite enjoy this adaptation!
Good work on this story, it sure is a piece of art to watch.

Maybe this story was what ignited Thomas want to explore. Kind of like having a sample of cake and then wanting more or something

what a great story!!!! it feels just like it was in the original show!!!
0:59 - Henry’s Whistle?
9:20 - Edward: And I was happy and excited about seeing Trevor and Toby!
My gods this was well executed. Good story, good narration, good animation. Not a single thing to criticise!
I have a name for 87546…
How about… “Bastard?”
*WHEEZE* LOL 😂😂😂🤣🤣
Well done Thomas and Edward!
There’s just something so funny to me about seeing Thomas being bigger than Edward.
Henry is the real hero of this story cause damn aint no way he faked his sickness just so edward and thomas could pull train that's crazy!
lovely work!
love the lighting and the models
Great job !!!! Love the engine models

Amazing
I loved it. But why is Edward so small
Please, list the background engines in this video, aside from Alled-Greedy and 98462
The night scene is nice
Thank you, This video was amazing
Hmmm 🙂 This is quite neat for a Railway Series canon.
I can't wait to see 87546's Face, along with 98462's,that they Will not be purches by the Fatt Director, but sent back to the Other Railway instead.
Very good video. I have two questions. What is that RWS Thomas trainz model and do you prefer Thomas with a dipped or flat running board?
Great video!
question, what kind of trainz did you use? what kind of a mod did you use for the rws styled engines, rolling stocks, buildings, and people, and what kind of a map did you use?
Hey anyone have the original "A Streak of Blue" without any background music/SFX?
Just question of fact.
If Thomas crashed into the station masters house.
Shouldn't the raised bufferbeam be at the front and not at the back?
Thats how Thomas canon design is, its already like that in the Railway Series
Its not on purpose, its just a illustration error
It could simply be fixed however

What was the prank Henry pulled on 87546 as he said at the end?
Basically, he stopped where he was on purpose just so that 87546 wouldn’t be able to leave the sheds and they thought it was just his steaming troubles.
I feel like this specific story would be better if Thomas was the main character rather than Edward.
Was the third blue engine Gordon or someone else?
He’s able to pull Henry AND a train but he can’t push Henry out of the way. (Seeing this a second time I’m now realizing he’s blocking the points but couldn’t Thomas just push him out of the way? I get it said all the other engines were busy but Thomas and Edward were free to pull the express.)
