You can drag the strip into the header. I have updated videos on my website, if you want to check those out: www.blueheronsupport.com/wix-website-editor-training-videos
@@blueheronsupport-wixpartne2866 Thanks so much for your fast response. I did duplicate my header items and added them to the new created strip and did drag the new strip above the header. But now I have the old header with the menu and the profile name of my site laying underneath the new strip. I can't delete the header nor the elements on it, because otherwise the site won't work anymore. I just can copy the elements and drag the strip with the elements above my header. This is making it difficult now for the mobile phone version.
@@fouuladvand48 you can make your header longer (temporarily) so the new strip can be dragged below the existing items, then delete the old items, move the new strip up to the top and adjust the header to the right size. Or move the new strip off the header, delete items no longer needed in the header, then add the new strip back into the header.
@@blueheronsupport-wixpartne2866 Hello, I got another question about animations and I would appreciate to get your help. I used a contact form and had the possibilty to animate it. I did remove this contact form and placed a new one on the same site but now I don't have the option to animate it. I created a new site and added all possible contact forms. But wix is not offering me the option to animate it. Do you know how to fix this problem. All other elements on this site of the contact form have animation options but the contact form doesn't. I hope you have an idea. Bye!
It's not allowing me to change to left in manage columns . It's saying no left, left. They are in the margins as per your video. Is it a pro tool or something or what am I doing wrong?
It sounds like you are probably clicked on the full strip. Click again on the column you want and make sure only that column is highlighted. Then under the layout icon, you can change the alignment.
I would have to look at it to see what you mean, but it sounds like you may have something extended beyond the edge, maybe even a text box that extends past the edge of the site. Feel free to contact me directly with the link to your site.
I really enjoyed this video . I'm 65 years old and trying to help my friend build his wix website . And when people were looking at his site on different monitors a lot of the content was missing. This will help me straighten it out . Do you know how to do any coding? Please let me know. Thank you . 😊
I'm glad my video was helpful to you! I don't code, but there may be a way to do whatever you are trying to do without code. Feel free to contact me through my website with details of your needs.
To add a strip, make your section large enough to hold the strip, then go to the Add (+) icon on the left, choose strip, and drag a strip onto your section. I just posted updated training videos on my website, if you want to take a look at those, as well. www.blueheronsupport.com/wix-website-editor-training-videos
Thank you for posting this, I didnt know about strips and columns and my website is scaling perfectly now.
I'm glad it helped you out!
Straight to the point and no nonsense, wish more videos like this or there were more available on the channel :)
Thanks! A no-nonsense lesson on exactly what I needed to know!
Glad to hear it!
Thanks. But how to replace the header with the strip?

Thank you for your video. How can I adjust the width of the header? There's an excess when I published the website.

How did you make the screen smaller in preview?
Thank you! How can I reverse content from the left to the right side? I wanna add Arabic language to my website.

Yeah but how do you make it fixed?

Its not clear where you go to add a strip, I'm a beginner and have no idea how to zoom in/out, find "strips" etc
