I'm so confused, I 've seen many videos on this. Is the strip you've created on the header? I thought the header was a default so it was seen on every page? Are you placing your double column strip on the header and is it integrated into the header?
@@uniworldwideWIXPROS I've for the response! figured it out, you have to place the strip on the 'home' page header for it to stick on all pages, but I've found that with double column strip you can't have a functioning button logo in the centre of your page, what's the solution here?
@@TheLunarnotes you can have a functioning logo. It's all about layers and placement. I'm happy to do a zoom meeting with you at no charge to show you how it's done. Wix is definitely different from most programs like wordpress, webflow. The ability to drag and drop is great, we just need to show you how to work with layers. Hi there! You can add another single strip on top and put the menu in the middle. Use the tools to put the single strip behind the responsive strip with multiple columns. Does that make sense? We offer free web design support to all Wix customers: www.wixhelpnow.com to schedule for free
@@uniworldwide Excellent video - very clear and easy to understand. I figured out the logo part, but I am finding it difficult to layer the strips without one blocking the other. I've made the top one transparent which seems to help, but now if I zoom in, the two layers push into one another, merging. Do you still offer 'free' web design support to all Wix customers?
It looks like your heading menu options aren't responsive, which is the problem I'm having. Parts of the menu get cut off on smaller screens. On mobile I get a drop down menu option with three lines.
Well, if anyone else is having a similar challenge, I had to change scroll setting to scroll with site in order for the header to have a slide to the right option on smaller screens. Now slide to left. Criss Cross.
Hi there. When you follow the tutorial, it will make the header responsive on all screens. In Wix, you have to edit the mobile separately from the desktop. The key to making it responsive is to stay within the lines on the strips. If you still run into issues, I'm happy to schedule a Zoom call and look at it with you.
Hi there! What issue are you having with the menu? Keep in mind you can use multiple layers with strips. Remove color background on the strip, make two or three sections and set the menu in the area you want. Remember to put the menu layer all the way to the front or you won't be able to click on it. Did that answer your question or is it something else?
Thank you! I gave up on trying to solve this issue half a year ago and you solved it in 8 minutes. I appreciate it!
You're welcome!
THANK YOU SO MUCH! I was struggling with this same problem and couldn't find any video explaining it any better than you did

My header and logo have been driving me crazy for the past 2 weeks. This finally solved my problem thank you!!!
Awesome news! Glad to help 🙂
Thank you!! OMG that one small tip about keeping the logo content to the left of line means I still have some hair left. Subscribed.
THANK YOU. You just helped me fix something at work.
Glad we were able to help!
The logo placement was driving me crazy... Thank you for this video.

Any element you put on the header will translate across all pages unless specified. I did place the strip onto the header.

Curious what mobile view looks like
Mobile and tablet always have to be optimized. I use the free developer tools on Google, works great.
