Agreed. This man deserves to be remembered for resurrecting Tyson's career, dragging him from the depths of Hell. Utter admiration for the way he's handled Tyson, and especially having the courage to relinquish his role as trainer. Massive respect, Ben.
Four Teen no it won’t, He can break down boxing really well in terms of strategy, angles, distance management etc.. fury is with Sugarhill because he used to box. He knows how to actually correct Form to increase power and things like that
@Four Teen that's how people will see it,but it doesn't mean its correct, Sugar Hill might be a better trainer than Ben and Tyson could lose in the first round.
He is a great guy and a decent trainer but I Don’t know about formidable, he let fury lose to much weight for the Otto Wallin fight and fury looked weak.

I just want to say that my younger brother was days away from taking his own life (he told me this a week after the fight) and he credits Tyson Fury's story for giving him the hope and power to carry on. I hope Tyson knows how many lives he touched and how many families he has effected.

Tyson fury is one of my hero I just hope it turn out be right choice him leaving ben. Because clear guy has a lot love & respect for fury & want what best for him. There not many people out there in this world nowadays who want that for others
Nice comment I fear he has made a grave mistake leaving Ben, I think John fury has had a lot to do with this, he is very jealous of Ben, the gameplan to Knock Wilder out is a dodgy one, unless he can get to him early as wilder does seem to take a while to get going, I am so pumped for this fight, just hope he has made the right decision!

Pretty simple breakup. My theory is as follows. As the legend big john fury stated ben was a pt a year before tyson came into his life. Tyson takes ben in and introduces him into the world of big time heavyweight boxing. The money and accolades pile up. Suddenly espn, bt sports, etc etc want his opinion every other fight. At first he only jokingly asks for more money than he gets serious having a bigger ego and rightfully so for the most part. Tyson refuses. Ben leaves. Kudos to them for being mature enough to keep it clean and civil and still be friends.
Im surprised Tyson is changing things for this fight. I know his last few have been a bit under what he wanted but I thought Ben was spot on with his tactics and with what he was telling Tyson during the Wilder fight. He kept things super simple and clear. My worry is that Tyson is going to try to make things too complicated with a different trainer. Ben had it spot, Tyson wins this with his left hand, dont force the right hand. Be patient and thats it. No point risking anything else, if there is one heavyweight who can slip Wilder for 12 rounds its Tyson. Esepcially now that he is a much fitter place than the first fight. And even the 1st fight Tyson admitted he went against what Ben told him as he wanted a spectacular finish.
The draw ended up being an enormous blessing in disguise for Tyson. He is going to make 10x the money and fame off the rematch and trilogy than he would have just winning the 1st fight. Great lesson on life and perseverance.
Ben has his own philosophy and is greatly successful in it. A lot of the "established" trainers like to take a different route. Be your own man and achieve your own greatness.
Ben helped save Tyson's life in his darkest moment......Ben deserves so much love and respect for what he did. Perfect person for Tyson to get him back at the top of the mountain. Truly amazing stuff.
Tyson Fury is definitely surprising in many ways. His strength (he can deadlift 250kgs), he went in with Klitschko and took the title in Germany, losing all that weight then fighting so well against Wilder. This guy is a bit special. Hope he shows that in this rematch.
I hate seeing people who supposedly know Tyson Fury saying they can’t believe he got up. My thoughts were, if anyone can get up, Fury can. He just needed a fair referee to give him the chance.
