Just bought a wltoys 124017 and 144010 to add to my rc collection.
I would do away with the driver and nav figures and keep plain tinted windows look, but don't mind the LEDs on the Drift Ute especially for night runs. I was thinking of adding some LEDs to my Remo Emu 9. Great for twilight runs and when the sun goes down.

Yeah, I do agree, driver figures are kinda pointless unless it's a scale rig.
LEDs are great too but too many us just pointless like in the wltoys 104072 having flashing break lights, headlights, indicators, front and rear roof lights etc.. with no way to turn them off on the controller or even change the blinking patterns 😞

After dry wall taping the body I took my brand new blue Arrma Notorious 6S out for a maiden voyage on the weekend. The thing absolutely rips n glad I went with the stunt truck over the Krayton.

1st! Awesome vid! Great list. I do like the 104072 a lot just wish they would drop the price a little and next time a more simple body and little to no led lights. We dont need indicators or brake lights on a car that most people will convert for speed running. Solid upgradable platform though so well done to them and an excellent addition to their line up. 😎😎👍
Totally agree dude, I think most people will turn these into speed run cars and led lights are just a gimmick to sell stuff for more.
Hi Matt, what rc would you recommend for a first-time rc hobbiest? I'm willing to spend up to a grand and not really sure,also I thought about starting out with the armma grantie voltage as cheap 🤔 any help be greatly appreciated 🙂

One of my favourite beginner rc cars would have to be the arrma Big Rock (any of those 3s platforms)
You're not spending too much but you're definitely getting a great rc car that'll give you the real rc car experience.

only upgrade recommended is rpm arms that are $25 that's it
Yea a great rc car indeed! But I'd personally put that up with some of the better rc cars as it is a little more expensive
rc cars are really cool and fun. I even made a video on my channel on how to restore an old rc car and make it look cooler :)

It would help if you would say the price after each car because you say cheap and I'm really looking for cheap now I have to look up each one because of my budget it's going to take me a lot of time LOL

The reason I don't include price is because the price will change depending where you live 😀
These are all cool rigs, but parts availability is an issue for me with cost effectiveness, and investment into rc's.. Once these trucks need parts, which in rc can be within the first run, they can sometimes be not so great an investment with limited or no parts availability..
Most of these are easy to find parts for. Especially WLToys products.
