Which makes since because he's the zarya prodigy but I've been wanting to see you're dva because I know you're the DVA and JQ prodigy. So i can't wait to study this
I'm really glad I found this video. You make it look so easy though, in my games the targets are usually not isolated like that they're always together and it's nearly impossible to dive a healer. It's like I can listen to everything you're saying and then try to imitate it but when I go into a game I just get demolished. LOL. Good content regardless
I find watching streamers vs playing is much different , sometimes it is so hard to see what seems obvious on watching back. My advice is watch your replays and see what u could have potentially, realistically noticed while you were playing. Good luck my friend
You’re probably not letting the enemy walk in. Let them take some space while you shoot beside them on high ground and then you’ll see someone who is diveable. It’s often smart to just drop down without boosters so you can use them to go right back up. You don’t always have to kill them either. That concept is called “popcorning”, I use it a lot, especially on first point Dorado on the first high ground that’s right outside of the main spawn to the right. Not further back where the tunnel is, but the first building. Edit: Guru actually does this in the Dorado game around the 1:00:00 mark. Edit 2: he even explains it further around 1:06:50!!

D.Va is imo one of the best tanks in the game rn. A lot of stuff "counters" her, but only if you let it. Like for example a lot of people say zarya is the best counter to dva but on this video when he is up against a zarya, he just tracks her bubble usage and dives her when he sees she is low charge with no bubbles. Dva can even outplay hog in a number of ways, like for example if they notice the hog is trying to hook their ana they can body block that hook and communicate to the ana to throw nade after the hook which will splash the dva healing her + splash the hog disabling all healing and then the team can just destroy the hog lol. If they have kiriko then yes they could suzu, but just from that you have forced out 2 enemy cooldowns (hook + suzu) and their team got 0 value from them while all you used was 1 nade. Or of course can boop the hog off the map with jet boost, since they like to stand close to the edge to try get cheap hook environmental kills. I would say to get full value out of d.va, you really need to use comms though. She can work great without comms, but with comms she is so oppressive.
I once squished a Genji while he dashed through me. It was freaking GLORIOUS! I really loved that play. It happened by accident, but I saw that it was going to happen right before it did. I actually yelled out in amazement waking my family members up, lol.

tbh the more you play the better your aim gets. think about where a target will get booped when you fly into them. think about when you should cancel your boosters to make it easiest for you to track someone. definitely recommend using the hold booster option in the dva settings. really important.
This video was so educational, watched the entire thing. Can't help to think some of the squish attempts were bad plays though, should we really be risking so hard for those squish kills?
Use cover and try to use cover that your team can follow up from and that is an off angle , examples your being shot at you matrix and walk behind the corner where your support can heal you from and when you go behind this corner it means they have to walk forward into your effective range in order to shoot at you and everyone can shoot them when they walk forward because they will either have to face your team and you shoot them from the side or they have to face you and your team shoots them from the side. I know I’m probably not the best at wording this lol

hey, I noticed that in your first game you hold your rockets too much, they have a (arguably) low cooldown, so, there were like 2 or 3 occasions that the squishy you dove got away with low hp, if you had used rockets they would be dead even if pocketed.

The game has a decent idea of what your actual skill level is so even though the cosmetic rank is Plat, his MMR is so high that he's getting matched in GM1 lobbies. Challenge is basically done... only think he'd be wasting time for is the shiny GM badge I guess
