  • The succession crisis of the Uesugi happened after the Battle of Tedorigawa as Kenshin died and I went on to play as his legitimate heir, aka his first adopted son: Kagekatsu. I was debating for a moment on who to support: Kagekatsu or Kagetora and I went with Kagekatsu over Kagetora.

I play a lot Shogun 2 and Total War Three Kingdoms. Nobunagas Awakening looks really good but I think after some hours this game will be boring.
I like the sengoku jidai time and know a lot about it, but Nobunagas Awakening has boring battles (not like Three Kingdoms or Shogun2). To interact with other clans, build your land and interact with the characters seems good but without great battles it will very fast boring.
My question is, should I buy this game? I am really scared that after I play few hours it will be annoying and no fun. What do you think about this game?

very freaking good game, the battles may not be shogun or total war like, but they're still somewhat engaging, and if you really love the time period and story, theres no way your not going to love these games, the game is packed with historical events, some of them even allowing you to change the course of history with different paths u can take through them, the amount of roleplaying you can do in this is second only to crusader kings 2 and 3, if you ever felt like a daimyo had a legitimate chance in uniting the land, you can very well pick them up from the bottom to the top, and if ur playing in the highest difficulty i assure you, its going to be a hard road to hegemony, which is why i like this game, so if ur trying to have fun with battles stick with shogun2 and three kingdoms, but if you really love the period and the people who fought for japan in this age, you will love this.

@@murtadhajalawkhan6650 I prefer this game to taishi, taishi is good but handling your castles and vassals feels way better on awakening, taishi is way less complex and there are less scenarios and historical events, both are fun games though.

japanese know thier history well thats why nobunaga ambition has too many events
battles are better than shogun because not too many units you control also conquring castles in this game worth it because every castle can rise army and gold unlike shogun 2 where you have 40 region but only can set 3 armies max
