Watering early is key. Most will do it at night or just before and that can cause fungus. This was a solid video. Glad to see you doing these types along with growing your business.
What happened to the lawn care business videos? I see they were deleted. Will you still keep us updated with your business journey? They were interesting
Yes! They are moved over to a new channel of mine - @TLR_Cuts. That’s where I’ll be keeping everyone posted on the lawn care business. Thanks for watching!
curious what your thoughts are on riding mowers? I notice your lot seems pretty decent size, and you rock a push mower, which i think is awesome. I'm on a .4 acre lot and ALL my neighbors seem to use a riding mower, I think i'm the only one in the neighborhood rocking a toro push mower hahaha
I've watched hours and hours of videos on lawn care and I'm more confused than before I started. Thank you Tyler for putting out this video and pulling me back off the ledge. You're so right, it doesn't have to be this difficult and we don't need to be chemists or seasoned lawncare specialists to have a nice looking lawn. I'm in Ohio and have mostly KBG with brown patches. I'm going to dethatch, aerate, overseed, milorganite and then compost on top with compost spreader next month. Is this a good plan? It's ok to be brutally honest, I would GREATLY appreciate your honest advice and won't hurt my feelings at all.
But it's for a good cause😉 It wouldn't be all year. I thought a lot of mine had died off this summer, but a lot of it came back. This fall I'm going with some expensive seeds, so I'm going to water next summer. I almost cried for the cheap seeds I threw down.
Love the KISS method and the college drinking analogy. I’ve been thinking about getting the Lawn IV (have it saved to my cart) but I’ve been using N-Ext biostimulants so far this year. Is there much difference or should I wait until next year to use it? Also, are you working on any other products with The Andersons?
Hey! Thanks for the comment. How have you like N-Ext? It isn't nearly as balanced as the Lawn IV formula we have, which has the micro nutrients but also has a bit of a "green-up" effect. I think they will complement each other well but also realize N-Ext is expensive. You can think of it like N-Ext will do long term soil health whereas Lawn IV will provide relief that gets your grass looking good this season.
@@TheLawnReview thanks so much for the quick response! So far the N-Ext products seem to be working, but this is my first year of lawn care so I don’t have much of a comparison. I agree it does get expensive purchasing an assortment of N-Ext biostimulants, so having one product that captures it all would be great!

Thanks, Danny! Tough to balance both but trying to keep it all moving!

You are so right I mow twice a week… my lawn is lush and green

I’ve got a zero turn I use for mowing other peoples lawns but have almost always used a push for my own
Will you review the DeWalt electric mower?
Yes I need to get my hands on it!
@@TheLawnReview if you get it, can you do a comparision video with it against the ego? thanks man!

Thank you! Yes that’s a solid plan. Getting good soil and roots is a multi year process and that’s a great foundation.
I would advise you be very selective in your seed selection process though. Look at Barenbrug, pricey but SO worth it
@@TheLawnReview Thank you
@@TheLawnReview God Bless you for helping those that just need a simple plan.
45 min? 3 days a week.. my water bill would be hundreds of dollars a month.🤷🏻♂️😕 helll nah
But it's for a good cause😉

If you get it really early in the morning it’s much more efficient. How big is your lawn?
BANGER of a video...thanks!
Thanks!

Stunt on your neighbors! Did I miss anything?
Hey I entered your contest and received an email that I had won, just wanted to make sure it was legitimate before I sent my address.
Lawn of the month? Yes we just shipped it out.
