@ same here! Did you hear the new live sets that were just released? Also, just got the Dn2 and literally JUST put my M:C up for sale, then I saw your video with the two together and had to yank my post on Reverb and give it another go. Now I might have to keep it! Anyways man, love the content. Keep it up! I’m still quite new to hardware.
@@BecomingRobot Those new live sets are killer! I'm still wrapping my brain arround all of it. Do you have a favorite one? And I'm glad to hear you decided to keep your M:C, I love mine. I think its highly underrated
Great video. To anyone reading the comments and wondering what parts of the video to watch, you have to at least watch the final pattern until the neighbor comes over to complain.
wow this is gold. i do feedback with pedals. midiot guitarist going to break some things....digitone staring at me wide eyed. and can you make it sound beautiful too? kiddn!
i also have a question :) , how can i sync the digitakt or another drum machine lets say the lxr with the loopback "hack" so thay can be in sync and have maybe "program change" with the two machines to move thru patterns in the same time?
Good question, since you can’t send or receive clock with midi loop back method, for this video, I synced my digitakt with the Digitone by listening closely and hitting the play button at the right time. But, if you have the digitakt, you can use its midi channels to control all the same parameters on digitone the way we did in this video, including changing patterns and also with the benefit of sharing synchronized clock.
@@slumpfishtx nice, thats a good solution too :D...now i want to sync it with the LXR and do this tricks and have fun with it :D ....was thinking maybe to get a midi controller like fader fox to map the macro control's, do you think it can work that way?? thank you for your answer!! : )
My Digitone just looked at me and sighed. This is so cool!
Absolutely unhinged and inspiring stuff.
Well done.
Thanks!

This is fantastic and as a longtime digitone user who just got a 2, it’s super sick to see you did it on the OG
Thank you! I love my OG though I recently got the 2 as well and will hopefully be making more vids with it in the future!
Really great that you’re sticking to the OG DN, not strictly necessary to buy new gear!!… awesome and inspiring

@olsihoxha1654 using a midi controller would be probably be an even better option tbh

Nice video. Clear explanation of the techniques. Good job. Sounds terrible. 😊
Ugh… it’s sounds soooo four-tracky… kidding. Long life to OG DN.
