Like final ping to hmain ziada he ani ha real world se communication k time. So if Vdsl has lower ping rate like 20 to 40ms to in the end iski or fiber ki same he nahe hui?

GPON is a different beast and again it depends upon how they are in your area. If I were there I would go for PTCL. As their packs are truly unlimited (No data Cap) and I need packages that have No Data Caps virtually. GPON of PTCL is new and reliable. However if data cap is not your issue then you can opt for StormFiber. As they are comparatively small so they have better customer service.

That means your line is not stable dear. Better get rid of FP. And in Pubg my kids get 70-80. It also depends on which server you use and what phone / tablet you’re using. Mine is VDSL TOO.

Dear Sameer, first of all many many thanks for liking and subscribing. Welcome to OS family. GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) is a point to multipoint technology than connects an Optical Line Terminal (OLT) to many Optical Network Terminals (ONTs), also known as Optical Network Units (ONUs). Simply speaking you will have an optical line instead of Copper line. That’s the first difference. 2ndly on your routers will be an ONT router. (Should be written on Box). Your connection should have a ping of 1-4 ms. The GPON setup is visually and operationally different. If your connection type shows PTM - It’s VDSL, and it will have xDSL settings or ADSL settings if its a DSL connection.
Okay. DSL would give you a ping of 25-35 ms. GPON 2-3 ms. I’m talking about local pings on mother servers. Gaming pings are always higher in every country. And gaming pings depend upon so many other things too.

Dear Abbasi. Now a days PTCL installs only VDSL modems but it doesn’t mean the connection is VDSL, some cabinets don’t supports VDSL and looks like the same is the case with you my dear. For further clarifications I suggest calling PTCL.

No Sajid buddy. Speed remains same. You can slightly improve ping in few cases if ADSL but Speed remains same.

I think they have some data limits. Better to check with them. PTCL had data limit of 2000GB on 20 Mbps. I use usually 900-1000 GB

sir i have vdsl2 modem but i get adsl2 connection in my modem my SNRMARGIN OF DOWNLOAD IS 137 AND UPLOAD IS 172 BUT I CAN GET THE CONNECTION 16Mbps on DOWNLOAD and 1.3Mbps on upload and i get minimum 60 ping and 70 ping on average
what should i do
Dear Abbasi. Now a days PTCL installs only VDSL modems but it doesn’t mean the connection is VDSL, some cabinets don’t supports VDSL and looks like the same is the case with you my dear. For further clarifications I suggest calling PTCL.
Bhai in Sab cheezon ka logo ko pata hai. Ptcl ki policies subscribers dost nahi hain.Rural areas mein long distance ziada hone per subscribers ziada data attain nahi ker sakte. Dslam exchange k pas tu her Subscriber ghar nahi bna sakta.line parameters long distance per Genuine Weak hoon ge.bohat important hai.Solution Video bnaein.jo kuch Aap eb bta rahe hain.mein ye Sub adsl,vdsl,Gpon,shepon ka kafi pehle se janta hoon.magar adsl ka hi rural Pakistan mein beda garaq hai.Ptcl Abi rural Area mein adsl ko improved nahi kr saka.adsl parameters equipments pr koi solution important video bna dein please.

How to know if you have ADSL or VDSL or VDSL 2
Go to statistics section > ADSL or xDSL > on the bump page check connection type. PTM means VDSL, otherwise it will say ADSL or ADSL2+

It shouldn't give you 15 up and 15 down on 15 Mbps dear. On 8Mbps you should get 8 down and 1 up.

My internet connection is red, and ptcl office say your internet is being used in another city Khuzdar while I live in turbat, and been 40 days it's red tired of calling 1218 and going to ptcl office

@@OrangeShots you know the funny part Sir whenever I call at 1218 internet comes within 1-2 hours directly I called like 4 times same thing happens and next day when I say yes net has come and I take back my complain it goes again in 6-7 hours and get red like, ( this scene has happened 4 times, so can't call it a coincidence)

That is so so bad dear. Really !!! I really feel for you. I suggest you go to exchange and blast at them full throttle. Also launch a complaint with PTA with all history on their website. Trust me they will come running to fix your issue. Write all details there.
