Great episode as usual! I remember back in 2018 (when we released the 1st version of the AMA) most of the contents we used to find on social media were about this special pairing (and as you know that’s still going on actually). CT5 is pure magic. Also, that punk-themed guitar behind Tia is speaking to the 14yo me and I feel I wanna cry now. -A
This is such a fun channel! You seem like people I would hang with and BS about pedals. It helps that the playing is not blues riffs or shredding! Very cool stuff, and I hope the channel continues to be fun for you to make. I certainly enjoy the content!
I remember how hyped this pedal was around r/guitarpedals when it came out, and it's nice to see it still see some light; I love this pedal's weird little voice, perfect your Bon Iver cover gigs at the country club (or whatever bands do). Moreover, I think it's the perfect amount of weirdness and complexity to be the perfect bridge for understanding the weird delay universe of boutique pedals if you're moving beyond a Boss DD-X for the first time, and has my favorite jack layout. Tia's disappointment feat. the Orange Hat is the mood of the month, get them while supplies last. Speaking of moods, this feels like a similar vibe, which I like. It's hard to say if they'd be redundant of one another (maybe my dream board is a bunch of clock-shifting delay/reverbs) I think Tia could really enjoy flange; maybe try the EQD Pyramids (that seems to be a good flanger for people who aren't into the flange thing), or the Walrus Polychrome if only bc it has a cool lizard on it.
I know what you mean about the Walrus Polychrome if only for the sick design. I love it’s sound too though! I’ve been Interested in giving the Pyrimids a ago. I’ve only tried a couple EQD pedals, but have loved every one! 🤘
Super nuts pedal. I don’t think I’ve been able to figure out how to work it into my thing, but it’s great that y’all are covering it. And god the Count theme was _hilarious_
Here's some cheese: What has seven arms and sucks? Okay, alright. I always enjoy your gear reviews; honesty with a comfortably casual tone. So, you know, thanks for that.
I love a good Skyrim meal, so an extra sharp white cheddar on crusty fresh baked bread is amazing. Love seeing the growth of this channel, keep being amazing.
I'd love that Jazzmaster. Seriously. Fav cheese... depends on the meal. You match a cheese to a meal as you would a wine to a meal. Thanks for the video. Was a fun watch.
My favorite cheese is pepper jack! Superfluous squad! Love the videos. Edit: I also just had an idea! I teach elementary school, and a mini jazz master would be PERFECT for some quick mini lessons with kids that are interested in guitar!
Every new clip y'all do makes me so happy. And the count to 5 STILL remains a mystery to me (I really just need to buy one). Thanks so much! I'm a muenster person!
i've been keeping an eye on these for a couple years now as prices on the used market have been coming down recently, and your demo has basically convinced me to get one. i was introduced to you guys through the 60 Cycle Hum vids, you've quickly become one of my favorite channels to visit for demo vids. it's like part demo, part conversation, part goofy skit show, i love it. keep up the great work.
Gotta love the Count to 5! I use mine mostly in mode 3, but the other two modes are great too. Big fan of sharp cheddar cheese, but asiago is great too.
You guys make great videos! Really awesome tones coming out of that thing. Also, I like that Gouda cheese, or pepperjack. If I win, the Squier will receive a cheesy name. 🧀
Jason saying "Mon-tchreal" was sending me! Great review of a great pedal-maybe one day I'll graduate from plug-ins to real pedals... Also, my lactose-intolerant tummy would gladly eat double smoked cheddar any day of the week. >:)
Has anyone ever tried Gouda on Souvlaki? They probably wouldn't go well together. A Loveless combination. This pedal flew under the radar for me, now I want one... Thanks!
Goat cheese mixed with cream cheese, like the pedal simple different and is great on crackers. Not sure if the count to 5 is good as a spread but loved the video.
Digging the format and playing here. Subscribed. Not sure if the tones coming out of the pedal really work for anything I play though, ha. It’s wild. As far as cheese goes…try melting some Brie on your hamburgers for a lil’ change. Brie is the jam. Also goes well with jam. Edit: glad y’all mentioned minus the bear. That’s what I was feeling the whole video.
Love you guys and I gotta say that Feta cheese has gotta be most like the count to 5, kind of weird but definitely something delicious. And if I win, I’ll send y’all some weird music for your show!!
I’ve been digging your channel, and this demo was no exception. I’ve been considering this pedal for a while. I think I have now passed the tipping point. If you’re still taking recommendations, Earthquaker’s Arpanoid is super usable and does some pleasantly unusual things. I’d think you’d have a blast with it. Thanks for the great content!
Been scheming on one of these for a while but never quite pulled the trigger. Awesome vid. No cheese is best for all applications, but if I’m going to eat cheese on its own off the block I’m thinking sharp cheddar or Gouda.
If I'm just eating cheese on its own, I think my favorite is dubliner cheese, with gouda as a close second. But if we put each cheese in context, I think I like feta on a gyro more than any other cheese on anything else. Also pedal...good.
Mmmm jalapeno cheddar 🧀🧀🧀. Mmmm cheese haha. And I have no idea why I want a Jazzmaster mini but why the heck not?! Okay so on the the pedal. Mmmm I like delicious pedals haha.. I dig it! As a pedal builder it's awesome and I like the very simplistic look. It vaguely reminds me of the boomerang in some regards.
The OBNE Sunlight with the Expression Ramper in comb mode will do a nice flanger. Or, review the Flatlight! And, probably pepper jack for favorite cheese.
I might have to get one of these pedals to run through some cheese curds on top of poutine. It would be the Montreal way. That's my answer. CURDS. Take care.
CT5 is probably my fav of all time!!! You two had some great sounds with it! Did you get a chance to try the nightly firmware at all?? Let’s see, for flangers, you should try the Oblivion by Solid Gold. Can be crazy flanger or more mellow chorus/vibe sounds.
i am a massive flanger fan. try the eqd pyraminds, strymon deco, a/da flanger, or any digitech flanger. if you keep the feedback down, it's similar to chorus. try it before dirt and after dirt.
also i'll take the jazzmaster! the mini seems fun to try. my favorite cheese is probably mozzarella if it's fresh but baked brie is hard to beat (especially with honey)
I'll take the JM! Trader Joe's has an amazing aged gouda with salt crystals in it. I am a huge fan of Dirge Slowly Melting and their Power Chungus. Demedash T-60 and T-120 are also really cool pedals if you are looking for some new stuff to try.
My favorite cheese is Rico Nacho cheese right out of the can. I just shove my hand in there like Winnie the Pooh and scoop the cheese out. I would like the mini jazzmaster for my kid to play.
It’s been a minute since y’all uploaded glad to see WCM back with another
Ohhh, I'd love that Squier Jazzmaster. Muenster is my go-to for sandwiches and also a great addition to the mix of cheeses in a quesadilla.
Great episode as usual! That's my old Strat, and I bought it when I was 14 lol. Thanks for all the support, y'all.
I feel like I’m being hypnotized by the visual transition for the sounds. PEPPPPPPPPPPERJACKKKKKKKKK
This is such a fun channel! You seem like people I would hang with and BS about pedals. It helps that the playing is not blues riffs or shredding! Very cool stuff, and I hope the channel continues to be fun for you to make. I certainly enjoy the content!
We specifically started the channel because we're tired of blues licks and shredders
That Squire Affinity Jazzmaster looks mighty nice *bounces eyebrows* also my favorite cheese is melted.

This is a magical pedal and not as complicated as it seems. Its limitations are its strengths ... or something like that. I love it.
You had me at Dave Knudson!
Been considering this pedal for a long time, great demo!! My favorite cheese is triple cream brie.
Favorite cheese: cheddar Gruyère. Second favorite: my cheese ball fuzz. Thanks for the fun.
I gotta say pep-per-jack-is-where-it’s-at! 👏👏
I’m a big fan of smoked Gouda.
And the pedal sounds great!
Picking a favorite cheese is like picking a favorite pedal, it's all about mixing it up depending on the flavor you need.
The CT5 changed my life. I’ll never let it go.
I fucking love Manchego 🧀
Great ambient pedal review. Well done. Trading the Ottobit Jr for one of these.
i've been keeping an eye on these for a couple years now as prices on the used market have been coming down recently, and your demo has basically convinced me to get one.

Thanks for watching, and we've got alotta new stuff coming up, so hopefully you stick around
Super cool pedal, can have fun with that. Really, a good smoked Gouda goes with everything.
Gotta love the Count to 5! I use mine mostly in mode 3, but the other two modes are great too. Big fan of sharp cheddar cheese, but asiago is great too.
Colby Jack is underrated. Also, try the Demedash T120. Love the channel. 👍🏻
Sweet. Another awesome video. Also, when they ask “when?” on the parmesan, they’re going to be grating for a bit.
Favorite cheese gives me a stomach ache because of the whole lactose intolerance thing. Great video!
At first, I wasn’t digging it. But, about halfway through mode 1, I’m completely sold. Favorite Cheese? Can’t beat Fresh Mozzarella.
I like the flatlight flanger
Favourite cheese: monterey jack
Favourite shoegaze album (go SGP!): Velocity:Design:Comfort
Hook me up with that guitar, I wanna teach my gf haha!
Great demo. Tillamook medium Cheddar for best cheese! 😋
LEAVE ME ALLLONEEEE!!! LOL.
Has anyone ever tried Gouda on Souvlaki? They probably wouldn't go well together. A Loveless combination.
This pedal flew under the radar for me, now I want one... Thanks!
This pedal intimidates me - a lot.
Also Edam is the best cheese, that’s why it’s my favorite
I want the DAMN THING. I would love the Squier! My favorite cheese is quality provologne. :o)
Goat cheese mixed with cream cheese, like the pedal simple different and is great on crackers. Not sure if the count to 5 is good as a spread but loved the video.
My favorite cheese is Finnish swiss emmental style really mature cheese called ”musta leima” which means black stamp
I want that jazz master.
Love you guys and I gotta say that Feta cheese has gotta be most like the count to 5, kind of weird but definitely something delicious. And if I win, I’ll send y’all some weird music for your show!!
I'm unsure if y'all have demo'd the EQD Pyramids but that would be rad! Also, my fav cheese has to be feta! Thanks for the vid!
It’s always a party when you bring havarti
Favourite cheese on a cheese board: Wensleydale with Cranberries
Favourite cheese for a sandwich, gotta be cheddar!
love this pedal!!!
My favorite cheese is a Squire(TM) Affinity Mini Jazzmaster
I’ve been digging your channel, and this demo was no exception. I’ve been considering this pedal for a while. I think I have now passed the tipping point. Also pedal...good.
I would like to see a review of the Strymon Leslie Speaker Simulator.
Jason doesn’t already have one? What costs more, Jason’s board or a Fender Custom Shop Jazzmaster?
Mmmm jalapeno cheddar 🧀🧀🧀. Mmmm cheese haha. And I have no idea why I want a Jazzmaster mini but why the heck not?! Okay so on the the pedal. Mmmm I like delicious pedals haha..
I dig it! As a pedal builder it's awesome and I like the very simplistic look. It vaguely reminds me of the boomerang in some regards.
Check out the Dr Scientist stuff! Their whole line is good, but I like the BitQuest and Dusk the most
Ahhh man... I never get tired of Count to 5. Gotta try the CT5 & Ama combo now! =]
I have 2 Count. To 5, old and new firmware, playing them together.
Mode1 on old firmware is my favorite.
The OBNE Sunlight with the Expression Ramper in comb mode will do a nice flanger. Or, review the Flatlight!
And, probably pepper jack for favorite cheese.
My favorite is Gorgonzola. I made some at home but I got the recipe backwards and ended up making some Zolagorgon. That pedal sounds dope!
Aloznogrog is the name of the blackened death metal band I'm starting when I get home
Appreciate y'all! Favorite cheese is Trader Joe's gouda goat cheese! Or goat gouda cheese or whatever it's called. Legit!
Smoked pepper Jack with a side of the best show ever
I love the backwards sample sound on this pedal.
And I love mozzarella.
The pedal sounds great. Still learning how to incorporate pedals into my playing. I think it would sound great with some Blue Cheese!
I might have to get one of these pedals to run through some cheese curds on top of poutine. It would be the Montreal way. That's my answer. CURDS. Take care.
My bandmate has one of these and it’s wild. I love this thing.
Also, I think Gouda is probably the best cheese. But feta is probably my favorite✨🧀✨
Awesome video! Definitely brie! 🧀
Gotta go with a smoked or aged cheese of some sort, probably a parmigiano reggiano. The crunch and nutty flavor is bomb digs.
Favorite cheese? Gotta be cheesecake! Love the content. Keep it up
Cool video. The pedal looks a bit intimidating. Unlike my favourite cheese, which is Brie!
Favorite cheese would be Parmesan. So good, especially if there is a little rind. Squires rule!!!🤘🏻😉
i am a massive flanger fan. try the eqd pyraminds, strymon deco, a/da flanger, or any digitech flanger. if you keep the feedback down, it's similar to chorus. try it before dirt and after dirt.
also i'll take the jazzmaster! the mini seems fun to try. my favorite cheese is probably mozzarella if it's fresh but baked brie is hard to beat (especially with honey)
ooh! What's your friendster handle? My favorite cheese is mimolette.
I used to absolutely love a good Brie, but I'm lactose intolerant, so these days I mostly go for nutritional yeast to fill the cheese void.
Cool pedal, and Swiss cheese, of course. I'm not a barbarian. ;-)
I would looooove that JazzMaster!!! 🥕☝️😉
I would very much like that Jazzmaster. My favorite cheese, mainly for its versatility, would be the humble mozzarella. ✌️
Love the channel and that you folks are into the weird :) Same here!
Also throw some pepper Jack on that pedal and we got ourselves a deal
Pepper jack. Enjoy your videos.
I love smoked gouda, I love extra short guitars
HEY, I THINK GRUYÈRE IS PRETTY DOPE
damn i want the mini jazzmaster! i don’t have a favourite cheese. if you’re willing to ship to canada (i could pay for that part) i would love it
Nacho cheese from the can is probably the best kind of cheese.
Cheddar!
My kid loves offsets, and we both like homemade chèvre.
*congrats* Gabe.
contact us by 4/11/22 via email, instagram, or twitter to collect your prize.
Havarti and Muenster are the best of course.
Favorite cheese: NACHO! 🤘🔥🧀
1,2,3, hahaha! Y'all be Kool T. was not happy with the Count 🤣🤣 get her two pedals
OK, as for cheese, I am going mellow with havarti. Please add a note or link to that other effect you paired the Count 5 with.
It's the "AMA" by AC Noises.
@@JasonTMays Thank you, I played it back a few times and got it. I have been saying A.M.A. so saying as a word throw me, Thanks for the videos.
Provolone cheese. Now send me the jazzmaster mini 😆
Man give me some of that Merlot Cheese from Costco…and that jazzmaster
lovetone big cheese versus rick nielsen versus velveeta rotel habanero dip
Fave cheese... anything... shredded! Like... Mozzarella
This Demo is GOUDA! Hahahaha
Best comment ever.
@@JasonTMays did I win? 😆
Smoked gouda/mozzarella/cheddar
Pls squire?
Yo! Jazzmaster! Feta! Count to Five! Word.
I’d be into that mini jazzmaster for sure.
I want the mini to go to some non profit for kids who can’t afford instruments 🎸 🎸🎸
This is a really good idea.
I likey! gouda cheese is gooda
Havarti!!!
