1:34 actually it regenerates a skill point if you use your ultimate on an ally but yukong uses her ultimate on enemies so that doesn't work for her
It does correct with on screen text, but it is a mistake i've seen a lot of people make.
Personally I made the oposite error, in thinking that because the ER% and the skill point are part of the same sentence, that the conditional is there for both. This doesn't seem to be the case and is probably one of many minor translation errors.
Please tell me what should I choose with my team being:-

I love her overall kit design. The freedom this game gives you in building characters is perfect.
Yukong/seele is my go to right now. The trace for energy regen when ally takes an action works really well when seele can 1 shot the ads, then resurgence which doesn't consume the count of bowstring. AND if you pop seele ult during animation it will still count so possible to get 8 energy towards yukong ult with just 1 seele turn technically
if anything, she is good on blitz style teams, which deals most of their damage throught ultimates (if you are not someone that can adjust the team's speed by your will), since ultimate can use that buff without consuming their turn, plus giving some chance for sub-DPTs to be able to do damage like most of the Nihility path characters like Pela, Silver Wolf, Welt... plus Seele can benefit a lot too, because her resurgence talent doesn't reduce the turn count from that buff
the ones that she doesn't work that great would be when you mix more than one character that can't use offensive ultimate, like Natasha, Gepard, Asta... not so much for Jing Yuan, since its hard to syncronize that buff with his LL talent
from sets, i could include the sub-tank option by using "Guard of Wuthering Snow", for the people that did farm for quantum set, since she has the "harmony" agro level (maybe Tingyun level of agro as Foxian) and not everyone has gepard/bailu/Luocha to witstand the damage, so they need someone to be alongside fire MC to take the damage
My Weltz, Luocha, Yukong imaginary team hits so hard, I’m saving for Dan Heng IL to complete my mono imaginary team it will be so good ❤

Just a note that the skill point doesn’t regen for Yukong with “But the Battle isn’t over” because Yukong isn’t using her ult on an ally compared to Tingyun/Bronya/Asta
Thanks for the guide, especially mentioning she'll be given for free in the 1.2 Update! I was still battling with me cause i want to pull for her, but also save my tickets and jade for Kafka, now it's easy, i'll just wait
Yukong saved my team when going against the deer boss the atk boost made the fight so much easier 😊
I'm running the IMG SW team, got an E6 Yukong, I generally go for a burst over cycle. Normally it's Yukong skill, SW skill, Yukong ULT, SW ULT, Welt ULT, Luocha ATTACK, Welt skill. With E6 it lets you get the buff to every other character as long as you have her ULT ready.

One thing I don't really see mentioned though, is something about her E6
Even if she doesn't have her skill buff active, after E6 Yukong uses her Ult, she WILL grant the full buff (ATK, CR,CD) to the team, which means you can trigger her Ult on the DPS' turn, trigger all the Ults and then skill with the DPS for maximum damage, so you don't have to worry as much about speed tuning

Ive now been farming the imaginary levle-up boss for two days straight because I lost my 50/50 to Welt so now I have to build all three.
Ive been running Jing yuan, tingyun, yukong, and gepard. It’s a skill point hungry team but more often than not I do so much damage that the battle is over before I have to start spamming basic attack.

The only reason I am pulling on the Luocha banner is just because I want an E5 Yukong before the update
Does the 2 energy back when an ally takes an action stack with seele’s turn skills? If so it would be 8 energy back from just seele alone, plus potentially 6 more if ults count as well.
It works with literally any action a character does, including things like follow-ups and passives.
yukong is on the next banner before Dr. Ratio's which i heard an Imaginary Hunt character.
Just got her E6 because I got fucked pulling for Loucha, lost 50/50 to Welt and Im now at 78 pitty and out of pulls. I hope that mono imaginary its good because Im not getting Kafka now.
Fun fact. Yukongs A6 trace grants energy for each ultimate use including her own.
A bonus for fellow QQ mains out there. Yukongs A6 grants her energy every time QQ uses her skill to flip tiles.
What is A6 ? Is it Eidolon or Aidolon ?
@@fatyag-nf3yx Ascension 6. You can only unlock the trace after ascending the character at level 70. The trace itself provides 2 additional Energy every time an ally takes action while roaring bowstrings is active.

Since QQ draws tiles on ally actions, you unload as many ultimates during yukong's super buff and have QQ speed tuned to take the second stack of roaring bowstrings. This results in a lot of energy for Yukong, damage on ultimates, and QQ tends to have her enhanced auto by the time everyone has gone (or very close to).
With an E4 QQ you can unload all skill points to attempt a nuclear finisher! You end up with over 140% attack buff, almost a guaranteed crit with over 150 crit damage, and a 150% damage increase. These will apply to her ultimate, enhanced auto, and follow-up enhanced auto. Then you cry if the enemy's bodies are not floating in a pool of your skill points.

@3:00 if i have 2 copies of Dance Dance, should i superimpose it, or should i reserve it for 2 harmony characters

I feel like holding it for the other Harmony characters is a good move. I Keep hearing that one is great for everyone and I wish I had it for my other characters. There's some information; hope you're content with whatever decision you make!
Personally, I never superimpose really good generalistic 4 star light cones until I own 3 or more. I think Dance, Dance, Dance is arguably one of the best 4* harmony Lightcone that is good on basically everyone. I had 3 of them and only superimposed 1. I haven’t built the 2nd one yet, but I prefer to keep it available.

Mah dude. Bronya's light cone doesn't work if the ult isn't targeted on an ally, and even if it did, it wouldn't recharge a sp "whenever you use your ultimate" but rather on every other ultimate.
Also, if a character isn't wearing atk% boots _or_ rope, atk>crit for the body piece unless they're running some high crit light cone and every single relic has a bunch of double crit rolls.
suppose we have yanqing, yukong and tingyun in a team....we can go like yukong e(for attk increase) then yukong ult(for the crit rate and dmg), tingyun e(bonous attk increase cuz tingyun will have yukong's buff) and then yanqing e.....that will probably be a nuke ryt???
but this team needs a sparkle....else...it would be heard...not impossible ...but heard cuz we will still need a shielder to guard yanqing for his followup attk.....

my main team atm is blade, jing liu, bronya, bailu, I have yukong e6 but is she worth using? her buff is so short lived it doesnt really seem worth it and because im using bronya, rotations are not going to be consitant nor the skill points
done around 80 pulls on luocha banner got at least 7 pelas but no yukong
I wanted to run seele, silver wolf. Yukong, and lulocha but would gepard or bronya be better than yukong if she is skill point heavy?
It might depend on the situation. Bronya is going to be the better buffer if you are only trying to buff Seele, but Yukong might come out ahead if you are facing imaginary weak enemies that she can weakness break or damage. Also you can consider if you need a cleanser based on the enemy you’re fighting, cause Yukong doesn’t have a cleanse unlike Bronya.
Lastly, dual element teams can be very good with silver wolf because as long as the enemy is weak to quantum or imaginary when she uses her skill the enemy will become weak to the other half of your team if they weren’t already. I do that with silver wolf all the time. So Yukong has that advantage too. Of course if the enemy is weak to wind (Bronya) then that’s not a factor anymore cause you won’t accidentally get unlucky and get wind weakness from her skill.
I have to disagree with just one thing in this guide, it's the "Bronya's signature lightcone is the best lightcone for any harmony character", it's great when the conditions line up but It's difficult to make use of for other units than Bronya (unless you don't mind doing some crazy team speed tuning and always crossing your fingers so that enemies don't CC you and mess up your order).
Funny thing is, the ACTUAl most versatile lightcone for Harmony is the 3 star meshing cogs (for any harmony unit that wants to use their ult, aka all of them). Memories of the past would be better for Yukong since she can do pretty good damage but it only rivals Meshing cogs in terms of energy generation if you have it as S5.

Nope, Luocha abyss flower count as "other effect" rather than a buff.
Oooh, so Clara's counterattack doesn't consume the Bowstring charges, eh? Nice. Now there is an incentive to build up Yukong for my Clara team.
If only there's a way to speed tune Yukong to the enemies, so that she gets her turn just before they do... lol. x3
You can speedtune to the enemies, all their speeds are listed on the star rail wiki page for speed, and note there's a level multiplier for enemies. But why would you want Yukong to be faster than the enemies?
@@justinwong5869 LOL, I was merely joking. Because Clara's main damage source is from her counterattacks, I was joking about having Yukong's buff up before the enemies have their turns. I wager it's actually gonna be a too much work to speed tune her to the enemies, when there are so many different variety of them.

Literally all the Harmony LCs (except the Asta one) are recommended for all Harmony characters... I still don't know which is the best 4star.
Dance, Dance, Dance is the one that is good on literally everyone, I love it. Meshing cogs is also very good on everyone (although maybe less so for Yukong/Tingyun cause they may want high attack). Past and Future is what I’d recommend for Bronya specifically.
If you want you can also buy the battle pass one “Carve the moon”. I think it’s good, but because the effect is kind of random and harder to strategize with I don’t think it’s worth buying.
Have anyone had a Lightcone drop from a weekly boss? Because I haven't seen one so far since launch. -_-

Was the same with Genshin. But then people don't put their money where their mouth is. They don't buy husbando unless husbando is OP. Too many OP char is bad for the game thus less husbando.
It's the same as Genshin, 1:2 male to female ratio. Sumeru 5 stars were majority male actually (Alhaitham, Cyno, Wanderer and Tighnari vs Nahida, Nilou and Dehya)

Guys i lose 50/50 to bronya but Yukong is soo pretty💅 ...umm so wich character should i use? Yukong or Bronya?
Yukong if you want to quickly break enemies with imaginary weakness. Bronya if you want to manipulate the turn order to your advantage. Both can be pretty skill point hungry if you're not careful.
It depends. Bronya is a
better unit imo, but in certain circumstances (like if there are imaginary weak enemies) Yukong could he better. I’d only use Yukong over Bronya if you are against imaginary weak enemies or you have a dual dps team.
I do not like to think too much while playing so i just built her soo slow that she comes last in my team and buffs my 2 fastest characters in their turn
that is actually kinda smart ngl coz the first turn of the battle are usually setting up buff and debuff for dps

I just need to make sure I play her in a team with two decently fast dps and sub dps.

@@jakeail1995 yes but make sure that you don't make your shielders or healers toooo fast. Atleast not faster than dpses. Cz i always run into this problem when my healers outpace my sub dps sometimes.

7:05 i don't get it, why should you lvl ultimate/skill -> talent -> basic (i agree with ultimate/skill first)
a lvl in talent gives aditional 4% dmg from each lvl to basic dmg, but a lvl in basic gives 10% dmg to basic...
i think it should be ultimate/skill -> basic -> talent
am i missing something?
Ultimate: Crit Rate/Crit DMG buff, big dmg.
Skill: ATK buff/Bowstrings
Talent: More break; better DMG from her.
Basic: Basic attack, which you aren't using often in the first place.
By the nature of this character, you're essentially casting her skill ALL the time coupled with her ult, so it makes no sense to focus on leveling her basic attack when you're hardly using it. On the other hand, everything else contributes to the overall damage of her, or her team, which makes it a no-brainer to max first. The way you're looking at the DMG difference is very shallow; it's not just about the [very minor] damage, it's also about the [important] Toughness-Reducing DMG.
@@MrInsiipid you seem to have missread my comment, i agree that ult/skill are first and the most important part of her kit, what i disagree with is that the video recommended:
ultimate/skill -> talent -> basic
maybe the arrows where misleading, (if that was the case, my bad), but what i meant was ultimete/skill then talent and after that basic,
my problem is that i don't seem to understand why could you posibly want to lvl talent over basic, the only improve you get for lvling your talent is a 4% in damage per lvl, but if you upgrade basic you get a 10% increase per lvl... that was my issue
Regarding you recomendation, i mostly disagree, if you skill every turn you have 2 problems,
1 most dps want to also skill every turn, and having 2/4 characters using their skill every turn is really dificult to maintain, you would need 2 really skill point positive characters to make it work, 1 can be a healer, the other one idk, it could work but it's more restrictive in teambuilding
2 if you skill every turn you miss out on the empowered basic attack, and it does nice dmg and does more break
i don't mean that you are wrong, i just think that alternating skill and empowered basic attacks (as recommended in the video) is more balanced and more appealing from my point of view, and in that scenario, the empowered basic is relevant, because i value the break potential, and secondary, I do have some hopeium that the damage could potentially be decent

In paper Yukong seems to be better than Bronya, but the way Bronya use her skill for give turns in emergency situation is still unmatch.
bronya can be put in any team and she will work. I have my seele at 140 spd and it will cost a lot of relic farming to make yukong faster while making my seele a bit slower 😅

@@Andychiu845don't need to do that, make yukong the slowest in your team (but not so slow that seele laps her, so about 121 speed)
that way yukong uses her buff as the last person to go, and then the next two attack the fastest character (seele) + second fastest chara get the yukong buff

Me who paired Yukong with Jing Yuan: when is she a skill point hungry character? I am not seeing the issue here XD (also me doing skill, NA, Skill, NA).
And you probably also aren't using his skill on every single turn or using other skills, hence not having the issue.
Cmiiw, but can she be considered as "universal support" while on the other hand Ting Yun is debatable 'cause she works a lil' bit better with similar element DPS
Tingyun isn't less universal because "she works better with similar elemental dps", she's less universal because she can only buff a single character ala Hypercarry teams.
