He's destruction because he consumes a lot of skill points. Destruction units are dps but at a cost: need to get hit, costume HP or more skill points, etc.

People are arguing over E1 and S1, i think S1 provides better than E1 if you aren't aiming for E2
Or just go e0 and no sig lc because fall of an aeon is already good enough and save pulls for fu xuan or jing liu
@@jjillalalac2487Nah I don't wanna go back to the same painful path of getting Blade to 70% CR without his LC; DHIL also can't use LD for the free 16% CR so it's even harder.
Probably gonna throw a few Muitis on his LC banner cuz it is stacked with Good Lightcones and If I get his I'll level it up and put it on him. If I lose 75/25 Fu's Lightcone is Guaranteed and keep Aeon on him.

I used crit dmg body and I have base 58% crit rate (with blade relic it goes up to 74%) does it will still activate the passive of that 70%crit rate orb?
@@chomosuke0720 being f2p is hard especially if ur a minmaxer but fu xuan can most likely solo sustain an IL team and she gives a free 12% CR so that frees up some req to achieve a 70%CR and since fall of an aeon is so stacked in dmg amplifiers its a pretty decent choice to use a crit rate body and just adjust accordingly to relics/rope and sphere because as f2p we need to consider our choices very well and they are bound to have reruns in the future so we can min max at that time
Little warning to those doing rudulent and wasteland.
Be aware that the wasteland 10% crit does NOT count to the set 70% requirement since its not 10% bonus stat on you (like a yukong buff for example).
Also if you use that set you really need a debuffer like pela or welt or sw to get the crit in the first place.
Lastly the crit dmg only comes from imprison. So you will want either welt who can do it via his ult or silver wolf who can add img weakness so DHIL can break and apply it.
Does Yukong buff contribute to meet the rutilant set?
@@DecipherXXV Generally if it shows up on the stat page it should apply. Yukong, Bluesky Lightcone, Longevous (Blade set) and few others I just not thinking of.
Nerdge Stuff:
As soon as the set came out I tested out Welt with his basic and it didn't count towards his damage at ~62% crit rate base. Wastelander crit rate seems to be calculated when the enemy is hit and checks every time the enemy is hit but does not add it to stat page. I assume Rutilant checks at the start of an attack then snapshots that baseline crit rate on the stat page. NGL I feel eventually there will be an expectation for Rutilant not being in the stat page but there nothing currently as of update 1.3.

Thanks for the guide mr Xlice! I feel the 'stream guides' aren't bad, I do think old school ones are a bit more organized and overall well thought, but this method has the possibility to get Q&A stuff and like you said, is better for you, so in that sense, definitely choose what's better-- I mean, we don't know the bg from it, maybe old school guides mean you can't stream and you enjoy (or get more money) from that, so yeah. As for feedback, I wanted to give some, basically constructive criticism, but again, if you don't feel it's worth the read, well, you can leave it. I'm not sure if guides are worth the hassle for you anymore, so you maybe don't want to spend that much time into them either, which is fine if it works out for you.
This guide wasn't bad, but I feel it's the biggest 'dolphin vibe' guide I've seen from you in a long while. If I was a new player who doesn't know the game well, or doesn't check other guides, I feel I'd end up with a HUGE FOMO towards his signature LC, bc a lot of parts in this guide kinda assume we have it. And what's worse, while you did mention all the good alternatives, you didn't really mention how GOOD the free Hertha LC is for him, despite it being just a bit behind in numbers at s5 (which we also get for free)-- this ties into his CRIT RATE (and maybe ERR) issues.
Guide keeps saying how he's 'easy to overcap', that you should 'always use crit DMG chest piece' and that there are 'many sources'... which is true, but outside of the 20 % from planar + traces, the LC gives a whooping 18 % crit rate, and without it and if we want to use his best planar, it means we need to get 50 % crit rate from sub stats/other sources, also adding to this that Imaginary set crit rate bonus does NOT get counted in this. And before anyone says 'but Yukong', yes Yukong, the character mr pp himself mentioned needs e6 to work properly too lol which is back to square 1: we need to pull potentially A LOT for that.
In reality, his crit rate needs of 70 % (if using best planar) are huge and almost impossible to get without crit rate chest piece if you don't have his LC, and without his LC and while ERR rope is still definitely not the best for him, he may also struggle with his ult a bit more. All of this without considering that imaginary set is also the most conditional of both and musketeer is just better in terms of unconditional dmg (tho yes, ofc imaginary is best if you do check all conditions, the same as if you have his LC, yukong e6 etc.). Same applies to boots tbh, but you did mention its very dependant on account so there's that (since the only way for SPD to be better is if you somehow got very lucky with very fast supports that go before him).
So yea, that's pretty much it, I'm not saying it was a bad guide because you did mention a lot of this points, but it sounded very vague and in a 'well but ideally you want his LC anyways' way, when he has very good f2p option available, just needs to have other considerations. Maybe a showcase of both performances would have been nice (maybe for another video even, like how you did for Genshin weapons sometimes), bc while I'm aware that obviously all characters are best with their LCs, and that you did mention none is mandatory, this one felt like we're almost expected to if we base in all the crit rate comments and such.
Again I hope no one takes this as hate bc it's not, I have been watching mr pp's content for over a year now and I very much enjoy his content, which is why I said this has been the guide with the most dolphin vibe in a long while. If mr pp doesn't really get much from guides (money wise) and doesn't need or want to be so specific in them anymore, that's perfectly fine as well.
just so everyone knows, with Tingyun, Pela, and Daniel (healer support spot flex), speed boots 100% of the time are BiS with S5 Fall of an Aeon, but at E0S1 Atk % boots anyways win and at E2S1 atk % boots have like a 20% lead
I pulled a little for him but lost my 50/50 to Bailu, which isn't a terrible outcome since I wanted her anyway. I'll just take it as a sign that I should save what I can for Fu Xuan because I really don't need yet another DPS, even one as good as this. I will be looking forward to his rerun whenever they get around to doing those, though.
They are probably releasing 1 good DPS for each element before they start going down the "niche new characters" path that Genshin has headed, so if you have Silver Wolf, you really shouldn't feel bad for skipping any of the DPS's they release lol. I have Blade and E2S1 Jing Yuan, so I'm skipping every DPS that comes out so I can get the next limited 5 star Harmony
(Not talking about leaks, but my logic is: if the F2P 4 stars are good, the gacha 4 star is top tier and the standard 5 star is the best character in the game, then the limited 5 star must be the best too lmao)
@iochocojokk Unfortunately, Silver Wolf was my first failed 50/50. It cost me Luocha, too, since I I couldn't get enough tickets to hit the guarantee before his banner ended.

I've been asking many CCs about some questions about salsotto, spd boot, err rope but seemed like nobody cared to showcase them.. but at least I found some answers here.
Honestly Dan Heng’s biggest and best buffer is himself, and then tingyun is second
His talent isn’t just from basic attacks if you ult you will stack up 3 stacks since it’s a 3 hit combo meaning 30% bonus crit damage for
Its not 30 crit damage, it's just DMG percent. The crit damage one only starts getting applied after the 4 th hit which the ultimate can't do since it is only 3 hits . The crit damage can only be applied to 2 sp base attk or 3 sp base attack
In my opinion, Dan Heng is not hunt because Swordplay exists and not erudition because Before Dawn exists. Destruction lightcones are pretty niche
Oh well, on the fall of aeon works really well on him
Your comment made me realize that in a world where Swordplay could be used on him, he could max stack it immediately with his Maxed basic attack...
I just started a couple days ago and got this guy in my first 20 pulls on his banner!
The Quantom set is also good for dang heng that 20% def shred against quantum is quite good in Swarm right now since the boss has imagine and quantum weakness.
This format's superior for watching chat torment xlice with pela emote tbh
13:11 from my experience 4 piece Muskateer is competitive enough to where it's a close second option to Wastelander. I don't see much difference in performance from my sets. To be fair, the crit ratio on my muskateer is slightly better from my wastelander set, but not by much. I've also seen other TC calc the Muskateer to be not too far behind wastelander. Especially since the effect is non-conditional. Against non-imaginary weak enemies it's definitely better. Unless you manage to have Welt on your team. But then that locks Welt as a requirement for your team comp. I also prefer to use Muskateer because I like using IL on non-imaginary weak team comps since his damage just doesn't need that weakness break. It's already so insane that it's better to save your elemental requirements for your second team comp if you're struggling with that. I'm not arguing that Wastelander isn't best in slot. Definitely is. But it's definitely not a must have set if you've got a solid Muskateer set already (from my own gameplay experience). You're better off keeping the Muskateer and farming for another character that doesn't have solid relics yet.
Without Welt Musketeers is definitely competitive and maybe even better.
That being said if you have welt it's a bit of a no brainer.
Permanent 40 Crit value is insane and the speed bonus on Musketeers can quickly become a negative costing you a guaranteed triple enhanced basic.
My team for instance is Gepard, Pela, Welt, DH.
Welt has before the tutorial start, and Pela has Pearl of sweat as LC.
With Pelas ultimate and basics reducing enemy def and before the tutorial giving Welt massive Energy back for def reduced enemies you have a near 100% Imprison on the enemy.
Eventually I want Loucha, SW, Welt and DH so I don't have to worry about enemy weaknesses anymore but as of now this is just broken easily outdamaging both my Seele and Jing Yuan in both single target and AOE.

I just started star rail abt a week ago I’m currently trailblaze 38 just got my mane lunae I’m not to sure if pitty and summons are same as Genshin but I got Gerpard and I think that made me guaranteed the banner character so I just grinded till I hit soft pitty and I got him today! I’m so hyped to build him after playing his story I really fucking enjoyed his playstyle. He’s def going to be my main dps cause rn I use my lvl 50 Dan heng 🤣💀
Can u stack 4 piece Passerby of Wandering Cloud on 2 characters ?, so it give us 5 skill point when we get into battles, so we can run tingyun and yukong more efficiently, correct me if im wrong tho

He might be destruction because of lore about the high cloud quintet! As we've seen with Blade and Jingliu who are also destruction because according to Blade, they must pay a price. Jingyuan's a erudition because he's not one of those who must pay a price.
To be fair the path people are in lore is different than in game.
In lore as nameless the entire astral crew is on the trailblaze path and it gives them power as Dam Hemg states.
The roles in combat is just a easy way to clarify units and lightcones and destruction is basically given to any weird unit that has conditionals and weird targeting.
150 speed tingyun is nuts.
Seeing as her best set is Musketeers which has a in built speed it's actually not that bad.
Yukong only recently dropped on my account and I haven't used Pela since the beginning - neither are built and I don't want to use any more resources to build them. So I have Dan Heng IL, Tingyun and Luocha... and Silver Wolf. I ...think that's fine enough.
shouldn't we prioritize cr on stat page since thats what rutelent arena bases the requisite on?

Eh, there were lots of things he mentioned that werent quite right, like the imaginary set always being best. If you're not using a debuffer as a support and the enemy isn't imaginary weak you have zero value from the set four piece. Like i use yukong tingyun luocha for him and against enemies that aren't weak to imaginary that set would be worthless for me as a four piece

If I get him, I was thinking of running Daniel with yukong SW and lynx, how's that comp? I don't have luocha. I like all the characters releasing so honestly just pulling on his banner, then fu xuan and then topaz, I'm happy whoever I get lol. Maybe I'll wait for fu xuan instead

Im using ATK feet because im E2 but also im near 124 speed without a speed main stat and i want my support to play before him (pela and tingyun using Dance! Dance! Dance! so more speed)

better use nat with ER rope + nat signature LC (that has ER s1), lynx healing skill provide agro, so you don’t wanna use lynx with 1 dps + 2 support
unless you use gepard/fuxuan

I don’t think any casual player uses speed boots unless having E2, this is the only flaw I found with the guide where I hugely disagree

15:10 for a person without his lightcone even with good relic stats it’s hard to go for crit dmg body bc crit doesn’t overcap easily. have this in mind…
yeah 70% CR is real struggle even with Yukong. 2 weeks of farming relics and I barely hit 40% CR without a CR body.

after maining dan heng since the game started, then getting dhil after losing the 5050 at 85 pity to E1 welt, then having to whale to get to 82 to get him, i have gotten E1 dan heng on his rerun, thanks for explaining it i was so confused and felt like a fake fan...
DHIL is amazing! He deals over 70-90k dmg through 3 stacks ATK and ult even with my shitty uncompleted build... 🙃

I run musket as I use him for things that arent weak to imaginary. I feel like either or is pretty solid. Atk% boots for me. RN stats are 3.6KHP, 3KATK, 900DEF, 110SPD (Ya ik its low), 72%CRTR, and 178%CRTD All traces unlocked, in my experience he usually does around half HP if not 60-70% of Boss HP in chaos. Eidos, if you really want to make him strong, and I mean absolutely insane, then go for E2, E1 by itself is still good but its not worth it, E0 is fine.
Without Welt Musketeers is definitely competitive and maybe even better.

natasha is more than enough for blade, ideally you want lynx on blade but lynx is on fuxuan banner so its still a few weeks away

I'd bench him untill you have Hertas unless you don't mind destroying Clara's LC to get the EXP back.
At most it will take a few weeks to get the Herta LC and then you can raise it with 0 effort.
He shall forever be known as DHIL
DHIL is great sure, but the simplest DPS to use is actually either Seele or Blade. The only "flaw" Blade has is the need for consistent strong healing, with Luocha being the simplest choice for that (though Bailu is perfectly capable of keeping him alive, especially because she has extra skill points with him).
As long as Blade has healing, he can pair with pretty much any support (other than primarily attack % buffers, though most of them also have other buffs and benefits so they still work) and even many DPSes because of his skill-point neutrality/positivity. Way easier to build teams around in my opinion.
I feel like what you just described is a list of reasons why blade isn't simple. Several of those factors goes away with Seele, who is also my go to auto battler dps
That itself makes balde less simple. Also luocha is not the simplest choice as a healer for him. He's the only good choice. Other healers can struggle to keep him alive if you get unlucky and take big hits. Bailu does revive him so i guess that's there.
@@trevorbrooks7816 True. She is pretty no nonsense. I just personally find skill point hungry DPSes less fun and harder to work around (Seele is less hungry than Dan, but more hungry than Blade). I have both Seele and Blade and I usually use Blade. I won't deny that Seele is still pretty simple though.
Also, Bailu is perfectly capable of healing up Blade and the fact that he takes so few skill points means she can heal him and others more often. Once we get Lynx it will be even simpler since she can focus most damage on Blade so she can heal just him for the most part apart from constant aoe.
Blade is a lot more complex than Seele and even DH IL.
So much needs to be kept in mind like healing, threat management, RNG and so forth.
He is definitely strong and will get better with Lynx who fixes both the healing and threat management issues.
Dan Heng is actually pretty simple, get 3 skill point positive units spam basic and enhanced DH and profit.
No particular roles needed nor any rng or threat management.
what do you mean exactly when you say "it's very easy to reach 70% Crit Rate?" I ìm using a C Rate body and I reach 60% with some C Rate from substats here and there. Do you mean easy with his Light Cone? I'm missing someth

honestly it should work great! my dhil has an atk rope and i run him with bronya, march 7th (still need to build pela lol, i also have all 4stars except tingyun so that's painful) and nat and i can ult with him almost every turn even tho i have literally zero err, him and bronya work rly well together if you have her, you just need to be a bit more careful with managing sp
Yea, its good to use ERR rope if you don't use Ting or have his LC

You could make an argument for ER Rope if and only if he’s E2/S1+
This nets you basically a 3T ult while maintaining his 3SP attack consistently

As an F2P, I am crying since I just pulled Blade and Kafka and I have no more primos to pull with even though I really like his playstyle of going absolute haywire with his basic attack

I'm wondering whether I should go for the imaginary relic set or just straight to the cowboy set, since while the former offers a higher damage ceiling, it's a bit conditional and besides Luocha, I've no one in the imaginary to help him do the imprisionment.
I mean no matter what it’s usually stats that matter most, set bonus won’t help much if you have bad stats, if you got a good 4 pc wastelander use it, if you have better musketeer then you can use that instead
Both Yukong and DHIL himself have enhanced Dizzy Damage.
It depends 100% on wether you have either Welt or SW.
Either or both basically garuntees a near 100% uptime on wastelander set.

Speaking of 'SPD vs. ATK' Boot Relics... I guess the only character I don't run an SPD Boots with is Clara due to her counter-mechanic.

Even with ATK boots my Seele is faster than the units using speed boots, her base speed + skill is just broken.

Are we sure wastelander is better than musketeer? I thought it only gives 10% crit rate on debuffed enemies n 20% crit damage only on imprisoned enemies? 😳
which is easy af to get if you use welt
@@seb3661welt takes skill points to be effective and also not all enemies have imaginary weaknesses so overall musketeer is better but the 2+2 imaginary+musketeer is the most consistent and best, especially in CN server
@@seb3661 i don’t have welt 😭 and just tried to get his light cone and somehow got welts 5 star light cone…u jinxed me 😅 edit: I do have silver wolf and loucha so I guess they can replace welt now that I think about it. I’ve been going back n forth between the two sets bc I don’t want to start leveling up the wrong ones
use 2+2 piece instead, you can't always maximize wastelander second buff and musketeer second buff is nice but eh, imaginary dmg all the way
Without Welt Musketeers is definitely competitive and maybe even better.
That being said if you have welt/SW or both it's a bit of a no brainer.
Permanent 40 Crit value is insane and the speed bonus on Musketeers can quickly become a negative costing you a guaranteed triple enhanced basic.
My team for instance is Gepard, Pela, Welt, DH.
Welt has before the tutorial start, and Pela has Pearl of sweat as LC.
With Pelas ultimate and basics reducing enemy def and before the tutorial giving Welt massive Energy back for def reduced enemies you have a near 100% Imprison on the enemy.
Eventually I want Loucha, SW, Welt and DH so I don't have to worry about enemy weaknesses anymore but as of now this is just broken easily outdamaging both my Seele and Jing Yuan in both single target and AOE.
Lost to bronya but still i good thing since i need bronya for seele hypercarry team anyway...

I got him yesterday while i was just spending my monthly shop wishes and accidentally got him twice likee whatt!?!!? Worst part i was on 50 50 and i got back to back Dan heng IL (never had that luck in Genshin impact)
