It's a bit more annoying to speed tune, but slow Yukong does work in a Clara team, since her counterattacks doesn't eat an usage of Roaring Bowstrings
Timing the enemy with her counters is even harder 😂
Yukong with 'Past and Future' and Seele is so fun. I one turn so many enemies cos they go first and Seele's turn stealing not eating Roaring Bowstring stacks is amazing.
How much speed does your Yukong has? Its really hard to be faster than Seele with both of ther speeds buffs.

@@PUBG_.1v1_.sniper_.God._ Yukong can easily use Planetary Rendezvous and Penacony. (Also the team can use a healer, but if you're Gep is solid enough that should be enough sustain)
"No matter where in the turn cycle Seele is, as long as she has her ultimate, whenever Yukong activates her skills and optionally her ultimate, Seele can skip the turn order with her ultimate, gain all the buffs, kill an enemy, and then gain an extra turn with resurgence, and use Yukong's buff again. This makes Seele the only character who can take extra advantage of Yukong's massive buffs, adding to her already impressive list of illegal things she shouldn't be able to do."

Minor correction - her A6 doesn't give 4 energy, it gives 2 energy when allies act while Roaring Bowstrings is active. This also triggers when allies use their ult, meaning it can give more than 4 energy per buff cycle
Also keep in mind that number gets affected by any ERR you build on her 👌

I love her so much, especially after her companion quest. Got her E6 p much immediately (E5 on Luocha's banner and the final Eidolon in the recent FH update) and currently play her in a team with Blade, Bronya and Luocha just for funsies. She's best girl fr.

Apparently, Seele is even better synergy than that, as for some reason resurgence acts like a follow up atk in the eyes of the buff and the buff is not consumed on resurgence procs. Also she isn't the only character to monopolize the buff as Sushang and e4 Dan Heng can Attack, Ult, Attack again using both stacks making them both viable solo dps to run with Yukong. The good thing about both of them as well is if the timing isn't lining up you can ult and force them forward in the turn order kill or no kill just by ulting. I'd say Sushang is the the better pick because of her skill economy but Dan Heng is no slouch either especially against Sanctus Medicus enemies as you can run him with the full imaginary squad and get - buffed atk, cr and cd from Yukong, buff's on him and Welt with their bonus dmg to slow enemies synergy and healing from his damage output thanks to Luocha - also if you have Luocha e1 then that's also another atk buff for the duration of the field and for the Sanctus enemies he'll remove rez on the grunts and healing proc on the shield bosses.
Using with herta with yukong basically gives her up to 4 buffed attacks while only using one stack. Herta can ult, follow up attack and then use skill and potentially follow up attack again depending on enemy's health.
Yukong is looking to be real close to Bronya too. Since this game is all about dishing out huge damage, CRIT buffs are really sought after. Yukong fits right in. I'm surprised how she isn't even 5 stars at this point because she has the same amazing value as Bronya to me. I'd take tricky playstyle if she can do this much by herself!
Her CR buffs as well as attack buffs have a lot more value than bronya but it makes sense they balanced it out by making it last untill the next two turns of the allies🫠

Just a minor note. E4 Dan Heng can also skip to the front of the turn line if his ultimate kills an enemy. So Steele isn’t the only one.

I had heard that her A6, Majestas, also counted herself during the turn she casts Roaring Bowstrings as a turn where an "ally took an action while bowstrings is active". If so, she'd gain a total of 6 energy over the duration instead of 4.
I think I heard someone say ults count towards that so it can be even higher if that’s true
sushang can do the same thing as seele if she uses her ult,itll move her action foward like bronya skill and attack again. So yukong skill,ult, sushang atk, ult atk.

my team I am thinking of creating is bailu with light cone quid pro que , yanqing ( the ice dagger boi ), and yukong with her own lightcone, I am waiting for the next tank character like character banner for this team but right now am using the main character preservation
with the release of IL Danheng, a E2 Danheng can also use the 2 buffs of Yukong, without even needing to kill sumone like Seele which would be very huge for boss battle,,,, E2 advance forward 100% IL after using ultimate which he can use to do another charge 3 normal attack

I pulled on this banner for Yukong. I’m 85 pulls deep, got Clara and no Yukong on sight. Seems like I’ll just wait for her next patch
Speaking of crit ratios, I find it both funny and exhausting to see that my Yukong's equipment managed to get a 70% crit rate and crit dmg stat almost effortlessly. I've been farming for so many relics for Jing Yuan, but even that 140+ crit dmg can't do much if his crit rate is 30%...

I haven't gotten Yukong yet since I only just started playing, but I'm curious to see how she does with Dr. Ratio once he's released in the game.
so question, if speed tuning is important, would not the messenger traversing set be more ideal now for her?

I think she works best in 2 DPS comps.
Note that dan hengs passive wont activate at any of yukongs skill/ult which is kinda stupid
No mention of Clara is kind of weird. Everywhere I've seen Yukong discussion so far mentions that she synergizes well with Clara as her counters don't count as a turn and the speed problem is easier to deal with. Any particular reason why you didn't mention her?
Honestly, this guide is far below the level I expect from Xlice. So many things either underexplained or just not mentioned. I came hoping to learn and just ended up confused.
There's a whole section talking about Seele's resurgence not counting as a turn but nothing at all about follow-up attacks doing the exact same thing. And talking about energy regen without mentioning the specific targets you're seeking is pointless. This isn't like Genshin. Having 99% of the ERR you need to save a cycle is like having 0% of it. Speaking of which, specifically recommending against the light cones that give you energy seems crazy, and recommending ones that add chaos to your turn order by advancing forward or adding temporary speed seems equally bizarre. Just stacking speed Maybe he has a point but he completely glossed over it. Absolutely no real talk about rotation or skill point efficiency either. If I depended on this guide I'd have more questions than answers.
I've tried it with clara and it works
My team from fastest to slowest:Yanqing Luocha Yukong Clara
Yeah she doesn't buff My yanqing on first turn but when yukong use buff
Enemy attacks then Clara action and Yanqing still got the buffs afterwards
@@warpticon i totally agree, this guide disappointed me, yukong as a sub dps is really hard to make work because everyone is still quite early game/just getting into late game, so we dont have a lot of relics. this felt more like a dolphin or whale's guide :/
So i just started bk star rail 2 days ago an there is the new spd set gear would that be better on her? Since she can gain more spd an spd up ur allies
slow yukong is soo underrated and its way easier to build
Imo shes rather bad if you do slow on certain teams, specifically Blade for now.
Slow Yukong require less investment, and she doesn't need to worry about units that increase their speed like Suzhang and Seele.
The only dowside is you can't take advantage of her buffs on the first turn. So tbf it's player preference.

It took me 90 pulls to get 3 more cons for her to E6 her but now she hits 41k ult when I haven’t even built her properly

Would E4 Dan Heng also be able to utilize Yukong’s buff in a similar way the way Seele does?
If you kill enemy with his ultimate, he will skip turn order to take action.

I’ve used her since she first came out (tbf I did stop playing game just before Dr ratio came out and have just returned) and she’s always been in my main team alongside Luchoa for healing and my main dps Jingliu who can also “steal” the buffs if you time it right thanks to her Xyz buff that changes her form. Just slotted in Robin and with Yukong my J Liu does amazing damage
I lose 50/50 to bronya, but i also have e3 yukong so... wich character should i use? Yukong or Bronya? ( Yukong is kinda hot tho💅 )

Im playing Seele with Asta, Bailu and Tingyun should I switch Asta with Yukong or should I keep Asta?
Asta needs to stack charges to provide more ATK boost for allies but her ultimate provides speed.
Yukong's ultimate provide 40% ATK increase but also provide crit rate + crit damage on her ultimate.
Overall yukong is a good option.
they sounds great... but only the next two characters being able to use their buffs is too much of a pain and inconsistency. I was planning to try but I've decided against it

I’ve been using Yukong a lot and built her the day she came out with some fuels. All I can say is she is a very restricted? Support unless you have Img dmg dealers Clara so her bowstring doesn’t loose an usage or Bronya to boost bronyas ult by Yukong giving her Crit stats
Buffing 2 dps every other turn is better than buffing one dps for 3 turns, plus her personal damage contribution. But people don't have a sub-dps setup yet with the roster being heavy on one carry this far.
I really think you're thinking too small. Imagine the future of this game. Both characters are going to be amazing in their respective team comps.
Yes, Tingyun is a more comfortable character, doesn't require strick speed tune and doesn't really care about messed time axis. But through my own experience, with Yukong's support, my Seele actually deals more damage then using Tingyun.
I use seele + sw + tingyun + bailu before, and my seele ult usually deal about 90k~110k damage.
And now I tried to changed Tingyun & Bailu into Yukong & Luocha, my Seele's ult usually do 110k~12k. Quite a obvious improvement.
But the price is it's harder to play, you have to think a lot.
And also Yukong herself deals damage higher then Tingyun, but Tingyun can charge Seele's ult. You gain some You lose some I guess.
So overall I think both Yukong & Tingyun are really good support! Especially when playing that ' Chaotic Memory' (I don't know if that's the right name in English), You need to adjust your team to counter the enemy, both of them are really valuable!
Tingyuns damage buff is very miniscule compared to yukong, her primary function is feeding energy
I kinda sorta lost my shit when she helped my Jing Yuan crit over 70k for the first time while grinding for artifacts yesterday
I'll save you guys 14 mins if you want to auto battle don't use her! she never uses her auto attack for her talent double toughness damage and will randomly use her ultimate without bowstrings.
However good manual character for manual she is S tier; for auto battle she is below asta like B tier.

Nope, bronya light cone require you to target your allies, but yukong ultimate hits enemies so no skill point generation.
As for e6 yukong, she just provide extra 1 buff on her ultimate.
