I believe the FSD rewards are a key into the next thing they have planned. I mean, come on. A specially engineered SCO FSD in ALL sizes for anyone who makes ANY contribution to fighting the Titan? We're meant to have them for a reason.
@@rijlqanturis625 I don't know what the real reason is but I will do anything to add a few extra lightyears to my asp, even if that means helping create an explosion so big it makes earth uninhabitable
Finally got time to attack Cocijo today. So good in VR. Sadly away with work from Tuesday, so won’t see it die. However the experience and screenshots were worth the time.
My guess : Cocijo explodes, destroying the Earth, and we are set to decisively destroy the Thargoids in turn. That's when we find out where their own bubble is, and we take the fight to them. Another arc in the story, that could last quite a while.
I mean at this point counterattack is pretty much DEMANDED. Even the most core of core systems are not safe from the Thargoids, so just being on the defensive is suicidal. Since we can assume the Thargoids expended a significant amount of resources on this offensive, the time for a counterattack would be now before they can replenish.
@@Crusina Seeing how large previous explosions were, it's within reason it might rain down enough caustic material on it to destroy the ecosystem / make it unhabitable. Every titan so far were next to ammonia worlds after all...
This whole event is like when Helldivers 2 was first released, and there was that major order to kill 2 billion bigs in 3 days, and the community did it in less than 1. Frontier intended for this event to run until the end of January, and already, the titan is on its last legs.
Maybe the upcoming colonization features are intended to allow humanity to slowly expand it's infrastructure, logistics and general reach towards the Thargoids, so a large scale counter attack becomes feasible?
I mean, humanity has already invaded every known bit of significant Thargoid territory. Unless we can colonise into Witch-space, I think we've run out for now.
Telepresence multicrew works too! You just have to land a damaging hit on the thermal core, be it from turreted weapons you control, or an AX SLF you control.
Everybody seems to be forgetting why the Thargoids have been mass collecting humans.. multiple rescue ships wiped out and no survivors.. not suspicious at all?
Hi! Do you guys take videos sent from the community? I have a couple of nice shots including a tracking shot of a bombing run ans various views of the titan. If it can be of any use...
No joke last 4 instances i went in had at least 6 hydras and multiple scythes roaming around , me self behind stalked no stop by all them at some points till they destroyed me after several minutes of chasing me.
I think they buffed it to something like 16x a regular titan just so we wouldn't immediately kill it in a day or two. Now im just hoping we get it done in time
@@redsojourn9069 I'm pretty sure that's why they buffed it too. Which at least makes a little sense... if slightly scummy. I'm sure it'll get done on time (unless FDev decides that's not how the narrative is supposed to go). Worst case, some crazy commanders will call in sick on wednesday....
CG credits are different than normal credits. Not sure why they didn't rename them, but you get a few hundred CG credits for every million in bonds. They're more just points than credits. You don't have to claim the bonds for them to count.
@ExpelMire Thanks, been with plenty of CGs at this point and this is the first time there was no “turn in” required. I wouldn’t care if it were not for all the mats this can save me.
I think the CG points are correlated to the damage you've done to the core, not necessarily the bonds you received for it. I wouldn't worry about these too much.
There are over 200 known Titans out there in the game. 1 attacked and 8 come in response. 8 attacked and how many will come in response one can wonder. I'm out checking the nebs for thargoid activities. They have Bernard locked down pretty hard at range. California Neb has active nests. Pleides is always active. So many more to recon. Almost to Elephants trunk circling back around.
I have passengers onboard so I have to remain a bit more passive and visual with less deep diving but thargoid sentries don't let you get too close to a nest without popping up and I'm making a good point to loop the nebs around quite a bit to trigger any nest guarding that might be present. Star to star, no neutrons, and no synthesis.
Imagine if there was a threat greater than a titan, would this really be the end of the thargoids? How are titans created? Where is the original source of the thargoids?
Proper British understatement: Mass extinction might be seen as a setback. Keep it up, luv!
Less people to pay taxes, means I will have to pay even more then.
Could be worse…..
Top level British "...any mass exiticion events is likely to be seen as a setback..."
I love this channel.
Damn. I’ve been saying Rescue Ship Hunter, not Hutner
omg i always thought it was rescue ship hunter😭
I doubt this is the end of the bug war... anyone else things destroying Cocijo will just draw the wrath of a mothership??
every time we have "defeated" the thargoids they have returned with a lot more hatred and a lot more ships that are much larger
Yep, the hiveship isn't a Titan. Separate datamined names of thargoid big ships.

@ExpelMireok new cg, we need everyone standing by in orbit of earth with decontamination limpits. 😂

Seems this titan is tougher, and the number of caustic generators seems to be increased on the way into titan
Don't forget to cover the weird signals from the Thargoid titan graveyards! What do they mean?
Many thanks 👍

Beware. It's getting busier with thargoids the more hearts we destroy.
Just now 5th heart at 99%
Can anyone confirm the CG aspect? I turned in nearly 60m on my carrier and the CG is indicating 9k.

200 known titans??? Where?
Why are all the footage of the titans always upside down?
Which side is the top or bottom?
I thought the docking port was the top and the heat core was it's rear end
I was thinking that when they said it was as coming in earth orbit if we kill it it will be a catch 22
for some reason i don't think i got the bonus arx for helping in blowing up hearts.
Who said it will be a victory?

We almost destroyed fifth heart. There is a good chance we destroy Titan by Tuesday/Wednesday
The current rate of progress will not be maintained. It's Sunday, the weekend is almost over, and people are going to be logging in less.

the titan is surely too small to cause massive destruction on earth?
Cocodoh’s fallout will turn earth into a wasteland. Or it crashes into earth. Earth will be a toilet from hell. 😅
Death Star event is still an option.
According to the wiki, the titan is about 13KM across. I think the effect from it's destruction will be less Armageddon and more Operation British.
If it ever even crashes. The other clouds seem stable.
This weak raid, few interceptors hydra, dusas, basi, etc, surely it is a battle, it reminds me of the end of mass effects 3
I really hope this war isn't ending
It's pronounced koh-SEE-ho
