I have the purple one. I destroyed several boxes Saturday with no effort. It and the Varatas are 2 of Kizer's best.

It's a great looking knife! Thanks for sharing it with us. My list is long and I'm making no progress on it

I am feeling that, especially with Blade show coming, slow goes the purchases 😂

I hadn’t really thought about it before, but the shallow clip point blade reminds me a bit of the ZT 0545 (their thin, CF, Magnacut slicer). Granted, they exist in different price brackets and China vs US, and the Kizer probably has thicker blade stock, but from a blade lines perspective, I just picked up on that.

Here's the thing with me: titanium scratches so easily. I remember buying my 1st Sebenza. Within a couple of days it was loaded. The finish and look feel great but, unless you're willing to have it look like a user, titanium just doesn't do it unfortunately. Same with aluminum. Even worse is the coatings knife makers put on them. Usually don't stand up.
I'm not anal about this stuff but when I'm dropping over $150, I don't want to see scratches. Spyderco's DLC coating is probably the best. I've heard Kizers DLC coating is scratching easily.
Me? I find micarta as the best material. Ones that have the edges broken like a used bar of soap. I have way too many blades and have had years of watching fads and hype get endless fawning. Don't get me wrong, these knives are great. I always take function over form. I just like my investments to look fairly decent with a little EDC time in and out of pockets.

I have 2 knived OEM'd by Kizer for other brands and I have been looking for a true Kizer itself. It may not be for a little while because I blew the budget already this year, but I'm leaning toward this guy or the Beyond. In a perfect world, I'd get the purple / black Militaw and still get thr Beyond! 😆

You see the white mountain knives exclusive? My code gets 10% off that one. 👍

@@dailygearguide I was looking at a Beyond on Blade Binge, but then I just got a $25 coupon on Kizer's site. Wouldn't work on the Beyond, so I have an S35VN Militaw on the way!
