I'm at a point where I'm losing motivation for my build. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and I've been combining the 3 stages every step of the way which has been overwhelming. This video has been very motivating, especially when it comes to the underside cleanup and undercoating process. I've seen most people putting the car on a rotisserie and taking everything out, but this method seems much more doable going solo in a single car garage. Thank you for putting this content out! Your channel is a bit of a hidden gem, and I hope your following continues to grow!
I get it man, I struggle to stay motivated as well, sometimes you gotta take a break from things and tackle it several months later. I’m glad this video helped, I did all the work myself in a 2 car garage :) cheers!
Underrated content creator!! I'm glad I came across this video seriously. It makes me want to start working on both of my 280zx projects. I hope you start making videos again soon :)
You said the bumper took a while to get, do you have a link or any recommendations for similar low profile bumpers? I thought about just getting one from an old 240 but meh..
@@JordanPayneLV what a fast reply. Much love from the east coast! I got mine from my mom when she got too old to shift. Identical year and color as yours. Super fortunate to find your page to witness your fantastic work.
@@jonpaulbruner7983 thank you man I appreciate it! I’m glad to hear you’re taking over your mom’s car 👌🏻, hit me up on Instagram if you run into any questions during the restoration
Excellent video. But it seemed like the way this video addressed everything was with the car "ALEADY running." But I'm starting from scratch on a 1961 Ford falcon 3speed . The tires are shot to hell and won't hold air and the car's wheels are frozen along with the brakes. The headliner is falling down too and I think it's going to be a long restoration
Yeah it probably will be, but you also have the benefit of changing as much as you want right from the start since you aren’t aiming to keep it running.
@JordanPayneLV well eventually I would like to make it my daily or even Sunday driver. Ill to start from scratch because the head was rebuilt but it was left off of the block for a couple years under the hood and overall the car hasn't run in over 28yrs
I understand you were able to drive your project during your restoration, but not all projects can be driven. Perhaps touching on that more would round out this video well.
