In my opinion, erythritol and sugar alcohols may stop weight loss because they cause gut inflammation in some people. Monk fruit and stevia are more natural and cause less problems.

It won't because your body goes into fat burning mode when your not eating, if your constantly eating every few hours your body doesn't get a chance. However I do think she speaks on menopausal women doing nothing longer than a 12-14 hour fast. So like first meal at 9am- last one at 6pm

Hi I have a question. I cook with coconut oil on a regular basis, and eat avocado daily and my stomach is fine. But I just tried matcha latte bulletproof style for the first time( I dont drink coffee) and my stomach got bloated and upset. Strict fasting is voluntarily foregoing both food and drink longer than you would normally. Permissive fasting allows various more or less harmless exceptions. Search for Jason Fung UA-cam videos. Or just look at Autumn's UA-cam channel video list ... most of them are short and sweet ... this one is Q&A so it is much longer.

I just checked out Biochem's website and read the ingredients for the grass-fed whey protein and most of its sugar comes from cane sugar, but it still contains some stevia. I understand how Autumn states that these natural sugars (i.e. stevia, monk fruit, erythritol, etc.) could be the culprit to your stalled weight loss, if you're having too much of them, but I don't see how using regular cane sugar is a better option.
@@AutumnBates ok thanks! So I'm assuming the only sweetness in your smoothies comes from the fruit you add? But fruit contains fructose, which as you know, only your liver can break down, so it will shut off lipolysis while in the process of doing so. Wouldn't it be better to forego the fruit and use stevia (or Monk fruit) to sweeten your smoothie, so that your liver isn't needed to break it down?
@@VaillancourtLJ For those who are more carbohydrate sensitive, I generally recommend sticking to a fairly small serving of low sugar fruit in a smoothie. From my experience, because the non-nutritive sweeteners *taste* sweeter then other "real" sugars, it can tend to spike further sugar cravings to a larger degree. But of course, this effect can vary from person to person.

Does unsweetened almond milk in coffee break the fast? I'm just starting intermittent fasting but I love my coffee in the morning
Because it contains more than 1 calorie. I went to an espresso in the morning, then coffee with cream or almond milk after my lunch
