I just discovered your channel a few days ago and I just wanted to say that I like your vibe. You remind me of one of my best friends growing up waaaaayyy back in the day. Sadly she is no longer with us, but watching your videos puts a smile on my face because they bring back many fond memories.
I don't think impossible meat is going to be around for much longer. It was a nice idea, but people realized it wasn't a healthy meat substitute. Personally, I'd rather just make a black bean burger if I'm not eating meat.
The Olympic Peninsula is one of the most beautiful places I have ever camped and explored In the PNW. Glad you had the opportunity to experience it. And yep, all of Port Angeles seems sketchy.

I logged the Pacific Northwest for years… Imagine standing outside in 34 degrees, the wind in your face nonstop with someone pouring a never ending pitcher of ice water on your head…. all day for weeks/months .. the coldest you will ever be. I love the Pacific Northwest because this keeps a lot of people away.
I've been to Washington several times but never west of Interstate 5. I've always wanted to go the the Olympic Peninsula but even more now after seeing your video. Love the drone shots. Thanks for sharing, Sydnie. Continued safe travels.
I am enjoying your adventures, and I have a piece of advice for you. Do not cook in or near your car because your car ends up smelling like what you cooked, and that will attract bears. I camped on the Olympic Peninsula off and on for about a month in 2020 and thoroughly enjoyed the area. It is unique beyond compare. And yes, there are Sasquatch there.
Enjoy following your journey and seeing the things you encounter, I envy your life style you are free and living your life that's great. Im not a vegetarian either but i like some of those meat substitutes , have to pick that one up. Great video hope you you have a great week
I love the Olympic Peninsula. I co-own a B&B in one of the little towns. Forks is cool, and from there you can visit Ruby Beach, and the Hoh Rainforest. Thanks for the vids.😊
For your own personal safety have a weapon to defend yourself when camping/hiking like an 8" survivor knife, stun gun, mace, and machete, I added a Bruni New Police 9mm Pak blank pistol (very loud) and a .50 cal Umarex TR50 Paintball Revolver paintball airgun to my RV/ camping arsenal. Both are non-lethal and each is under $100. I also added a solar motion sensor LED lights and have an intruder alert. Remember even if you do not have a gun you can bluff "Go away I am armed with a gun.".Also, buy some M80 firecrackers when you hear weird noises or footsteps outside your tent light one up, and throw it out the window after the big bang you will scare most critters away.

Those body washes and shampoos are horrible for the ecosystem and water friemd!! There are shower systems that are relatively inexpensive and you could keep the pollution out of the creek amd away from the creek. Just sharing out of love friend!

Hi I live in Port Angeles. You did pick the worst laundry mat. We call that the homeless laundry mat. On Thursday they give the homeless money to do their laundry and it can get pretty busy. The place is absolutely gross

Sequim the town next to us is not funded to cater to the homeless and their laundry mat is great with a nice person there to help you and keep things clean. Next time your in the area let me know I can give you somemore cool places to check out as there are so many. Im 63 years old raised 3 daughters who grew up with our wonderful wilderness as their front yard. There are so many wonderful hikes and places to see here... Port Towndsend and Whidbey Island Mount St. Helen's. The Solduc hot springs. Man made pools or the hike to the natural hot springs. Solduc Falls hike. Lake Angeles hike. The Dungeness River. The trail to the mouth of the solduct River or the mouth of the elwha River. Our beaches lakes and rivers are so majestic. Riding the rail bikes tour thats out by that Steel bridge and that old logging bridge. I can't remember how to get to that old logging bridge. But I hiked there in a literally down pour with a umbrella it was so much fun. And back then if you dared you could walk out there on that bridge. I only made it to the first missing board and had to go back scared. But my friends I have photos of them in the middle of the bridge. Good times. Last summer I rode the 🚲 trails in Idaho. Totally recommended the Route of the Hiawatha, totally look that up. And the trail of Coeur d'Alene's that bridge on that trail is fabulous.

This may be a small thing but thank you for tossing your trash into the trash can instead of leaving it in the Walmart basket. Being a former cart pusher for Walmart, it was a pet peeve of mine when people left their trash in the cart. There have been times when I wondered if people used the carts as their personal trash cans as they cleaned out their cars. No lettuce for the tacos? There are some who also put tomatoes on them which I don't touch. Since your channel is small, it may help expand it if you reply to some of the comments. It shows you care what your viewers think.

Just a friendly offroading tip: when going through large puddles and you can't tell how deep they are try to stay to one side or the other as those are typically the shallowest parts. The middle is usually the deepest and sometimes the muddiest which can get you stuck real quick. Have fun adventuring!
That campsite was an excellent find! Getting there isn't for the faint of heart. ATV park or not, fording those waterways is risky business. Nice work!

I learned my lesson when it came to trusting puddles. I had a 97 ranger in high school. used to go off roading every day after school. I went one day after a storm, puddles everywhere. I got out each time and threw a long stick to see how deep they were, most of them didn't reach the rims. when I got to the top I saw a small puddle about the width of my truck, I didn't check it since it was the smallest puddle I saw. I floored it to see that amazing roster tail, but instead the front end sank submerging the hood.

Impossible meat is ok. Texter is a lot softer and taste sweet compare to beef. They're priced the same as beef so there's no point in getting them.

6:28 Lake Crescent is amazing. Supposedly, native lore has it that the lake is bottomless. Be sure to hike Mount Storm King if you haven't. 😃
