I go with celebi, melmetal and empoleon. Celebi mainly to deal with swampert as its super weak to grass type. All of them play a very good role. But i will try your team. Sounds pretty good to me.
I like to catch Eevee. The reason is because it's evolutions are versatile. The Eeveelutions cover 17 types either offensively or defensively. Essential mons shouldn't include unobtainable/raid locked stuff like legendries. It should include relatively obtainable mons with good stats and multiple uses e.g. community day stuff (Machamp, starters). Only legendary/mythical that should be allowed on a list like this is Melmetal because anyone can get one and max it to 50 if they are able to.
I strongly disagree. Most raid locked Pokémon can still be obtained through trades, special research, events, etc. This list should serve as sort of an "end goal" for players. Otherwise, I would have called the video "Top Ten Budget Pokémon"

I have a few pokemon to mention. I used to be a hardcore player, but now I'm more casual so I have some lesser known pokemon. You mentioned Blissey because of gym defense, but the problem is you can only put one of each kind of pokemon, so Blissey, Slacking, and TTar are the first ones stuck in. Give it iron head for a seal attack. Gardevoir with charm/dazzling gleam/shadow ball is another one of those good defenders and I love attacking with her. Gyrados is next. I love it for team rocket battles, taking down gyms, and can catch people in battles.
Gyarados is a solid attacker, but I wouldn't so much say good defender. That x4 weakness to electric types gets exposed really hard should anyone have a halfway decent Jolteon.
Never had trouble taking down a Blissey that wasn’t constantly being fed berries. I still use my 100% Chansey bc she has great stats and still falls below 1500CP making her ideal for low-maintenance long-term defense (due to slow motivation decay).
Really if you have anything with solid fighting type moves like any decent Machamp and you know when to dodge, Blisseys are a cakewalk now. Not nearly as bad as those level 10 gyms back in the day constructed out of walls of Blissey.

Surprised you didn’t mention beedrill.. it’s not the best Plant but it’s so under rated. I know its part of the one research task , the mega task. Especially in mega form against team Rocket grunts & bosses. Plus , it’s shining mega looks insaneeeeeeee 😩😩😩🔥🔥🔥
Should add machamp in... not many people is able to get lucario, but machamp is much more easily to get and with good iv shadow machamp, should be able to do 3* raid solo...
Shadow Salamance should have been on this list as it's number 1 dragon pokemon....... I just caught a 98% shadow bagon....... I have a hundo lucario though

I had a shiny 3 star Chansey but evolved her to blissey ( I regret it)
What if the cp us low on the blissey? I should trade or transfer it right?
As a city player, can't stress enough how important a good IV Blissey is. Also, NEVER put Tyranitar in gyms. We all laugh when it's in gyms since it goes down in about 4 seconds
I’m new why is tyranitsr bad
@@DaGGzu 4x weak to Fighting types. Machamp (or any fighting type) will rip through Ttar like tissue paper. It's best used in raids
@@DaGGzu Both Rock and Dark are weak to fighting types, and since T-tar is a Rock/Dark dual type, any fighting type moves it gets hit by hurt 4x as much. It pretty much instantly dies to any fighting type with a backbone like Machamp, since not only are the fighting type moves highly super effective, they're also STAB (Same Type Attack Boost). T-tar doesn't stand a chance in defense.
How do I get MewTwo. What does trade mean? I'm new to this game. Any help would be greatly appreciate.
Please make part 2 for this🙏🙏
So just catch all the legendaries pseudo legendaries. Oh and blissy lol. Mamoswine is the only one I didn't expect tbh love the cid rho
How do you not have Garchomp on here, he’s a beast
Totally agree.. I love my Garchomp too. Hes so good at beat just about everybody , that i still dont know what hes strong and weak against.
@@mixingreen it's weak to dragon 2 times weak to ice and also weak to fairy
@@deasns1922 bruh so are all the dragon flying types on this list. weaknesses barely matter if you are using them in the right raids and gym battles
Can you link Home and Go with a guest account on home without a Nintendo switch account?
What kind of min IV on shadow dragonite we need to make it valuable?
I really dig Swampert. It's an stable in every league and pretty decent in raids.
not in raids unless you have community day move but even then....there are much better options❤
@@The_Animal_Man completely agree, that’s why I can’t use a word beyond descent to describe it (with HC).
I'll make a list video like this specifically for GBL pokemon. Expect swampert there :)
Awesome Video!! Needs more bidoof though, jk!
Your wish has been granted by Niantic
@@subhashishsrivastava3146 Ooooooooh Nooooooo!!!! Should of said deinos!!!!
Sounded like a middle school persuasive essay "use this because......... sure it may not...... But......." you should improve on the script but thank you for the information 👍👍💯
Thank you for the feedback! I'll keep that in mind for future scripted vids 👍
i tried the Pokemon Home thing but when Pokemon Go said i had a mystery box, the app closed and now i cant figure out how to get it back
Great solid list. Gengar and Snorlax should be an honorable mention. Snorlax is Good for defense as well as pvp. And mewtwo you want psystrike and ice beam.
How do people get two charged attacks?? 🤔
Do I need to complete the go Meltan quest to do the Mel metal method you talked about at 3:25?
Nope it should be available to you now
It would be so dope if niantic added a third charge move in pvp but the charge move is a special like healing or sleep or just buff moves. I don’t know how they would adjust the shields since those moves don’t do damage
I'm down for this
@@CountJinsulaOfficial I figured it out, it will just let the other player know it’s a special charge move so players don’t waste their shields.
Absolutely. More damage-inducing fast/charge moves will overpower Mewtwos, Dialgas, Groudons and the like. But stat-inducing moves will spice things up while allowing a fair amount of balance. Great idea!
blissy may not be best pvp pokemon but its first evolution form makes me cry in great league
dragonite is week for all ice element specielli glacion and super power op for batlle vs dialga
Is Lucario still able to mega? I’m pretty sure I would have done everything I could to get it but my Lucario don’t mega. :(
Was it just too badass or what? We have Mega Absol now though which is nice but I’d take Lucario M any day!!!
Mega Lucario hasn't released yet in Pokémon GO. It will sooner or later!
@@CountJinsulaOfficial Ah, ok. I’m stoked for that move!!! I have my Lucarios ready for it! I was so stoked for Mega Absol! His hundo M is so strong maxed out! Lucario would be a MURK MACHINE in MEGA!!!! Mine is only a 96 15/14/14 or so and he kills hard AF against a lot of the larger battling Pokémon that people lean towards with amazing efficiency!!! I can’t wait to see that announcement!!! I hope they mega Sableye too!!!!🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
Can Pokémon Home work if I only play on my mobile phone?
Gallade, Riachu, Togekis...have never let me down
I been doing the Kanto cup with nidoqueen mew and psychic raichu and I’ve had great luck managed to get to level 20 in the battles and have caught 4 legendary
For gyms or what
Overall pretty good list, lucario is good and all but the availability of it makes it terrible so you could use something like hariyama instead. A Pokemon i was hoping to see whas rypherior because it's an absolute unit especially with its Cday move
Plus it can learn surf for a surprise attack
Why use Hariyama when you can use Machamp, that got a CD?
You have melmetal, blissey, and lucario but no ttar, machamp, giratina, or reshiram? Even dragonite has lost a lot of meta relevance unless you have a shadow one.
Bro proceeded to name all legendary Pokémon who haven’t been in events in over 1year 😂😂😂
Big Boy Gyrados is being slept on and he has a mega too
For the number 10 pokemon, it won't let me connect to pokemon home, I always enter the correct password for my Nintendo account but it always says unable to connect
does meltan require a nintendo switch?
Nope not anymore. You can get Mystery Box by transferring to Pokemon Home.
@@CountJinsulaOfficial thank you for replying
Sirfetch’d is my go to pokemon
I have a Best Buddy Hundo Mewtwo with psycho cut and shadow ball
Snorlax is a great gym defender
List noted.
Surprised you didn’t mention beedrill.. it’s not the best Plant but it’s so under rated.
I know its part of the one research task , the mega task. But that’s also why it’s a good one to have , make sure you get a get 3* or even 4* (shiny if lucky😂..) and then you’ll eventually build it up and get the mega candy for free…from that task 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️ obviously it can’t be used in to pvp too much when in mega form , but it is extremely useful I’m other ways . Especially in mega form against team Rocket grunts & bosses.
Plus , it’s shining mega looks insaneeeeeeee 😩😩😩🔥🔥🔥
I don't have anyone to play Pokemon Go with so Raid bosses are impossible to do for me
Ive had a couple of good metagrosses for a while now and tbh I don't see the hype... Decent yes but great? Not sure.
Garchomp is my Tank
I use my 100 iv Shiny Mewtwo for so much
For me swampert is the beast and my best Pokémon and favourite
How do you ise pokemon home.
Lol youre insane 😂 Kyogre is a beast in ML I run mines and it does me good! 😊
Man I named my dragonite OG 😂😂
i have 3 mewtwos but are all 1800 is this ok
Eevee might sound weird but it's all evolution had basic coverage
Wait how do you have two super attacks
Should add machamp in... not many people is able to get lucario, but machamp is much more easily to get and with good iv shadow machamp, should be able to do 3* raid solo...
Shadows kind of change things. Shadow Machamp is fantastic, probably Top 3 ahead of Lucario.
What is the music in the intro
Pretty sure one of the cities in HG/SS
How do i get or catch hoopa ?
Shadow Salamance should have been on this list as it's number 1 dragon pokemon....... I just caught a 98% shadow bagon....... I have a hundo lucario though
Shadow salamence wasnt available at the time i recorded this. But yes I agree
How many do you have?
Not me with 3 shiny Melmetals 🥱😏😏
I have a lucario i ise for great league its amazing
Even garchomp is one of the best Pokemon in every aspect a great PVP and PVE Pokemon it should get a spot in a top 10
I really wanted to include him, but I just find so many uses for the top ten that I did include. Maybe in the future, once the garchomp mega is released, I'll redo this video.
@@CountJinsulaOfficial Choosing the top 10 is one heckty task but you're doing a nice work congoo😍😍
I tryied to get a lucario but the egg gave me ALOLOMOLA instead of Riolu
Do you have a starter guide video? OR an how to (get there video)** ,are all of these not hard to get for a person just starting out tommorrow? Like a hot tips video for beginner Pokémon go trainers? Like what questions would they have to answer? …things to note 444_44
man I’m such a noob
:) I should go play mafia wars :)
I'm surprised slacking wasn't on it want to be cool have a maxed out slaking
everybody saying Rayquayza but i never see anybody using them
Rayquaza is very good. Just really dont bother cuz like 20 people in raid and everyone attacking. Unless you want to get that "heavy hitter" that deal the most damage
I think it has some play in raids but I myself have only seen it used like once for GBL. Then again it’s probably only good in master league and I don’t have a solid team yet.
could have mentioned the fact that meltan needs 400 candies to evolve
bro i got melmetal cp 3224 in two mistery box openings
what about Gengar?
Video starts at 2:05
Actually starts 0:00
Video idea - top 10 most useless Mon in Pogo
You don't get your coins until your pokemon gets knocked out. Weekly streaks mean nothing. Leave weak pokemon and create an opposing team player that can easily take 'em out.
