why does the sound keep turning off?
They used copy written music as background, so the machine muted spots it my guess. Kind of ruined there video sadly.
I just reset my phone because I thought my Bluetooth connection was faulty😂

I've deep dropped for tilefish, black sea bass and rosies but never sword. I've seen guys with the electric reels but I always just worked my Penn to get them up. It's hard work but satisfying.
Joshua carrico triple or quadruple the depth you'd fish for rosies and tilefish and add 6 lbs to your lead

Commercial fishermen use electric reels sport fishermen don't this is about making there movie
@@georgewilliams7078 recreational fishermen use electrics all the time when it comes to swordfishing. I personally like hooker electric because we can use the electric to check bait and hand crank when we get hooked.

Nice video, easy to follow. Do you all every soak the Hogy in any scent or is it totally sight based?
You can give them a quick soak in menhaden oil, or fish un-sauced. Caught fish both ways. It does give a bit more confidence with a little scent on it.

Exactly, thats why you use 250 pound test. The fish tries to get in the boat as fast as it can.
I have deep dropped for rock fish here in California and we stay at about 300 feet and just a 10oz weight with a two speed tuna reel is a lot of work of just reeling it in

What was someone using foul language or something in the background, or saying where you were and you didn't want anyone to hear that? How does audio just drop out like that? Actually in New Zealand and possibly Australia most people that deep drop reel in the fish by hand. Utah Fishing is right the electric reel is pointless and no fun as you don't even get to fight the fish
