Cool reaction video. I was waiting for that goodbye wave and your reaction was the same as mine. You can't it help but love this woman. The first time i heared this song it reminded me the 80's hard rock bands like Van Halen. Like you said songs do not have to be complicated to be enjoyed. Though she is definetely one of my all time vocalist the number 1 slot goes to Sharon den Adel (the lead vocalist of symphonic metal band Within Temptation). Although I think there are good arguments to be made that technical Floor is the better vocalist (she is classically trained) there is just a certain vibration/tone in Sharon's voice (who is selftaught) that just hits me harder then any other singer. A beautifull example of her vocal skills can be found when listeing to her live performance of the song called "Say my name". The suggested clip is a complete concert registration but you can select the seperate songs from the attachted listing in the comments field or select the 45:30 minute mark. The song was never released on any fo the studio albums but as a bonus track on the single release of the song called "Angels". The song is about her (Sharon den Adel's) grandmother suffering from Alzheimers and her desperate attemps to try to connect with her one-more time. Her delivery is spot on except for slight emotional tremor in her voice that makes it all the more beautifull.The audience is also fully aware of the uniqueness of this song because it so quiet that you would have been able to hear pin drop (quiet an achievement in a sold-out arena of 20.000 people). I have seen this woman perform twice in concert and countless live registration online she is useally very relaxed and cheerfull during her concerts. During this concert she starts out that way but you can see her tense up the closer she get to this song and relaxes again after the song has been done. You should listen to Dolls$boxx and Unlucky Morpheus same main voalist in both she was also in a power metal band call lightbringer and a solo project called fuki commune. Not quite maybe in Floor or Sharon territory but amazing none the less the way she can move between genres. Cool video, great attitude
To fast with my comment.You asked for female metal voices? Then try Epica .It´s a band who used female vocals with harsh male vocals. Simone is her name and Floor are both Dutch and friends. I will suggest you Sancta Terra live Retrospect , they are singing a duet .I think you´ll like it

Флор естественно это главный босс женского вокала, она умеет всё и всё при ней. Открыл я ее сравнительно недавно, наткнулся на фит ее с Симмонс из эпики и задело. Дальше после гугла я узнал что она сменила в найтвишах Олсен и теперь я фанат этой финской группы. В более юных годах считал лучшим женским вокалом в жанре рок металл альтернатива конечно же Эми Ли, я ее и сейчас люблю, но Флор это просто амазонка, которая как Голиаф возвышается над остальными вокалистками давидами)

I have seen them couple of months ago at the Forta Rock festival and they were awesome. Gonna see them again in a month. Definete recommendation

К концертам у меня претензий нет, на Ебуржском концерте в 2016ом я просто рыдала от счастья. Все претензии конкретно к альбому.
Флор нужно срочно покинуть Найтвиш и заняться сольной карьерой. Выступления Найтвиш в рамкпх тура Decades честно говоря не очень.
