Boat beds are difficult to make, particularly V-berths. That is why having sheets that are made specifically for boats/RVs is a huge help. BTW, I appreciate the quality of your videos. On first viewing, it was pretty apparent that you weren't the typical UA-cam content creator (since You Tube has made everyone a "video producer" these days.)
Hah, right? It's downright shocking to me the amount of subscribers some boating folks have with such terrible content...oh well...I was quite shocked when my wife showed me the bedding bill but I have to say, it's worth it. It's phenomenal and fits perfectly. Very happy. thanks for watching!
Looks like a wonderful yacht and you are getting all of the shake down issues resolved! Glad your family is getting to enjoy her. We hope to be in the Bahamas this season, too. SV Gypsea from Pensacola, FL. Hope our paths may cross. We enjoy your videos! Best, Don and Cassie
I have recently discovered your channel, really enjoying the videos! As with all new boats, there is a lot of learning needed and inevitable issues. My question, were most of your issues (too many IMO) covered by any type of warranty? Are you truly happy with Aquila? I would have serious concerns about purchasing one of their products. Thanks again for the insight and honesty of your videos. Congratulations on your success & beautiful yacht.
Welcome aboard! This was a covid boat. No one was allowed to personally inspect the process. I pushed them for delivery. It was not ideal. So, therefore I had to figure the boat out...and they paid for EVERTHING. Aquila and MarineMax are great partners! believe me. thansk for watching.
I was so happy to see your mom getting around the boat. I want to do this so bad but I’ve been afraid to take the leap because of my knees but now I’m feeling more confident that I can definitely do this
Biggest decisions were....full beam wide master....and complete access from bridge to bow. Those, among other things, convinced me. Thanks for watching!
Allen, you are correct however, incorrect. Yes, they could spend a month showing you everything on board and explaining how it works. How much do you think you would remember? A new boat is like dating. When you first meet (I was going to say board her but that would have gotten me on a list somewhere) you're enamored. Her beauty causes your ears to shut down. You know she's talking but you are hypnotized by the wonder that is sitting in front of you. It's only after you get passed the first dates that you become more interested in what makes her tick. What it's going to take to make the relationship work. The only way to know her inner-workings is to get to know her deeper and on a personal level. So, how much have you "learned" about the Hillbilly by figuring out how things work rather than someone telling you how they work? By the time you hit the Caribbean, you will be able to service, sell and rep the Aquilla 54! Knowledge is power. Thanks for taking us on your journey. Even though we are monohull faithful, we learn a lot from your videos. Thanks for producing such high quality, informative videos. Can't wait to see you in the BVIs someday. Take care. Sorry I'm just getting around to this but you're absolutely correct. Guess it's just fun to complain! ha. I've learned so much in such a short time because I've had to learn. Makes a lot of sense. Hey hope to see you guys out there soon! Thanks for watching.

We’ll be coming through there in January! Thanks for watching!!!
Would be interested in your decision process for purchasing your Aquila 54 vs other cats such as leopard 53 etc…

First! Sorry. Just wanted to be first and say hi. Hello! lol

Somewhat disappointed in the issues you have has with basic build stuff. You have a great attitude about things Aquila should have done.
