Absolutely spot on James, excellent patience, to let a person try to come to a conclusion themselves, Graham is representing how so many people regurgitate words heard on mainstream media thinking they are clever! Research some history man!
I've been saying that all along Netanyahu kept pushing until Hamas reacted. Netanyahu needed Hamas to do what they've done so he'd have an excuse to picked a fight with Gaza he knew Israel would win.
Unless a massive narcissist the genius will admit if he has to concede a point in the discussion. He will engage in your arguments and accept the better one appreciating it for widening his horizon, if said argument is sound of logic of course. The opposite usually doesn't even notice that it should concede a point. Irony of reality.
Genius and Narcissism go hand in hand. Geniuses will only accept hard evidence to prove they’re wrong, it’s even more pronounced in someone who self proclaims as a genius (when in reality they’re known to be average). Both sides of the political spectrum laud their confident speakers as geniuses, “yeah that’s what I want to hear” type thing. Genius does not preclude someone to have a better grasp on something on an emotional level than an averagely intelligent person would. The lesson: anyone who thinks and says they’re extremely clever as part of a debate is desperately looking for a way out. Graham held his own in this discussion despite what your leftie bias leads you to believe.
IamDude2 Throwing all the big words and random punctuation around to say nothing until last 2 sentences. Why did you go to calling them leftie? Sure, Israel could surrender. But the caller is spot on in a way James isn't, the framing of James question is extremely bad faith. He's clearly framing an answer as a question, which is tiresomely bad faith.
James, thank you so much for being fair, honest and showing humanity. You dont know how much it means to people like myself who are losing hope in humanity. Thank you so much! I cant even sleep at night anymore after seeing the horrors going on in Palestine 😭 both in west bank & Gaza.
It truly amazes me how someone can be so poorly educated about a complex situation that they have clearly have been incentivised via media outlets, to go on national radio to confirm that they lack the ability listen and respond to any question on the subject. Couldn’t write it
Nothing about this situation is complex... if someone with no authority took your house and gave it to someone else (an immegrant) and ur shouting and screaming cos all your getting back is outside toilet next to the garage .. and people are blaming you for the noise ur making.. not complex at all if you are Palistinian
And the Likud Party Charter, which expressly prohibits the existence of a Palestinian state. Hmm, doesn’t that sound like another party charter that the media constantly bangs on about?
American Christians would love to see Israel ruling over all of the Arabian peninsula (Is it a peninsula?) and part of Egypt too. "It's in the Bible, people!"
That is really hard to happen since israel has high tech survey and face recognition systems. Everyone who passes borders and through checkpoints for whatever reason is kept in their archives for future use.
What was Grahams excuse before Hamas were on the scene . . He really means if Palestinians would just surrender and accept their position as unwanted second class citizens there would be no problem . . That is , no problem for those that were allowed to remain to do the kind of work Israeli's feel is beneath them .

This times like this I am grateful that James and others have a platform where everyone can come and voice their opinion. However nonsensical it may be... They just end up exposing their own ignorance.
When it comes to Israel people look at it in a compartmentalised view. Some only view oct 7th. Some only look at the fact that Israel should be protected at all costs. Some look at it through a religious lens. What is being missed is the internal politics of Israel. The demise of centrists and the left either through falling birth rates or emigration. The rise of the right due to intentional high birth rates. The infiltration of the military by those who come from extremist parties. The attack on the judiciary and the fact that we are probably looking at continuous Israeli right wing governments who would make Netanyahu look like a moderate. A question has to be asked of non Israeli jews." How far will your support go to bolster governments that, if it was another country, you would despise " ?
Thank you for pointing all that out. Ive been saying this for years. Historically, its is possible for a people that were oppressed to become oppressors themselves.
My father in law was born in Tel Aviv, served in the IDF and left Israel. The writing was on the wall 40 years ago. The religious nutters are in charge now and care more about ideology than negotiating a long term peace agreement that would protect ordinary Israeli citizens. Yitzhak Rabin tried and was assassinated by a right wing religious extremist.

That notion might seem counterintuitive and yet, when it comes to Netanyahu himself, it is unexpectedly on-brand. Prime minister for most of the last 15 years, Netanyahu has been an enabler of Hamas, building up the organisation, letting it rule Gaza unhindered - save for brief, periodic military operations against it - and allowing funds from its Gulf patrons to keep it flush. Netanyahu liked the idea of the Palestinians as a house divided - Fatah in the West Bank, Hamas in Gaza - because it allowed him to insist that there was no Palestinian partner he could do business with. That meant no peace process, no prospect of a Palestinian state, and no demand for Israeli territorial concessions. None of this was a secret. In March 2019, Netanyahu told his Likud colleagues: "Anyone who wants to thwart the establishment of a Palestinian state has to support bolstering Hamas and transferring money to Hamas ... This is part of our strategy - to isolate the Palestinians in Gaza from the Palestinians in the West Bank." That catastrophic misjudgment alone should seal Netanyahu's fate. Taken from the Guardian.

Graham doesn't sound like a young man so it's even more sad that someone 'of a certain age' can be this ignorant.

These ppl like the caller know what they're supporting but can't admit it openly
I've been saying that all along Netanyahu kept pushing until Hamas reacted. Netanyahu needed Hamas to do what they've done so he'd have an excuse to picked a fight with Gaza he knew Israel would win.
Yep that’s easy pickings for BIbi
Hook line and sinker !!!

It's more difficult to win an argument with somebody who is hard of thinking than with somebody who is a genius

Torys gunna tory..
Thank you for pointing all that out. Ive been saying this for years. Historically, its is possible for a people that were oppressed to become oppressors themselves.
Such a great point
My father in law was born in Tel Aviv, served in the IDF and left Israel. The writing was on the wall 40 years ago. The religious nutters are in charge now and care more about ideology than negotiating a long term peace agreement that would protect ordinary Israeli citizens. Yitzhak Rabin tried and was assassinated by a right wing religious extremist.

The caller was expecting soft ball questions and comfort. Ouch! 😂
Graham needs to remember who props Hamas up. Iran? Yes. Netenyahu? Oops
Netanyahu liked the idea of the Palestinians as a house divided
- Fatah in the West Bank, Hamas in Gaza - because it allowed him to insist that there was no Palestinian partner he could do business with.
This is part of our strategy - to isolate the Palestinians in Gaza from the Palestinians in the West Bank."
That catastrophic misjudgment alone should seal Netanyahu's fate. Taken from the Guardian.
Bibi has been directly funding Hamas with suitcases of cash for years
Netanyahu propped up Hamas. There’s a quote from him in 2019 from Haaretz saying specifically this
