Very well done, great video, a practicle demo of the wide scope of jobs that can be undertaken very well with these 'tools'. A neat job with a great finish. Is there a corse type drill bit or coach bolt that fits into the Auger driver, to enable you to drill / scew into a broken post in the ground to be able to lift it straight out, in order to re-auger the hole for a new post, or would the Auger be comfortable with boring staight through an old wooden post without damaging teeth or overheating? Keep the videos coming when you can, mindful you have a job to do, but it is a facinating insight into the capabilities. Detail about machine controls, functions, power and loadings (if available) and techniques you have learned to master to get the best from these (tools) machines is greatly appreciated and never boring. I know you probably think people don't want to know the stuff you see as 'everyday' for yourself, but it makes it very relateable for folks like me. Many Thanks
I have to say some of the background with grass, trees, the sky, clouds, etc. look gorgeous picturesque! It reminds me a bit of where I use to live on the East Coast US.
They are 90mm just shy of 4"" this is the longest you can get in any battery nail gun. The Dewalt 1st Fix nail gun 18v is a brilliant tool. extremely versatile. Paslode require gas in addition to battery and they don't like the cold, for the same 90mm capacity. You can also use shorter nails down to 50mm (2") and variations inbetween in all 1st fix nail guns.
Ted, just a bit of a random question. For the jobs you do with your JCB, out in open land or in the city, what is your commute like with gas usage? How often do you just drive the JCB directly to a job site and when do you maybe load it up on a trailer pull by a truck or dump truck?
Hi, on average the 4cx does 10 miles to the gallon when I’m working in Nottingham city it’s 20 mile away which normally take around 1 hour Not very often I have to transport on a lorry as lucky I’ve managed to stay close to home, I’d probably dive the 4cx 50 miles away anything further would transport it Thanks for you message and watching Teds Sheds
@@tedsshed2185anything further than 50 miles it’s not recommended to drive right? Unlike tractors you can drive for hundreds of kilometres without having to stop

Yes it’s a nice place to live we’re in Derbyshire UK 🇬🇧
Be nice to have a steel cup fitted on the hammer part, make for easy leveling? just bigger than post diameter.
I had the cup on the hammer just big enough to take a 6inch post I’ve just bought a knocker for the tractor
can you get differant size augers to fit
Hi Ash
Yes there’s lots of different types

The device attachment you are using to hammer in the wood stakes, what is that called?
It’s a arrowhead rock breaker with post knocker cup fitted
