Season 1 and 2 could have easily fit on 1 blu-ray disc. Even if they weren't upscaled, just release those episodes on SD on an HD disc. I have all the seasons already, so I'm skipping out on this set, but it's still a nice collection. Hope they do a full blu-ray release set in the future.
Not only did they cheap out by only releasing it on DVD (with NO digital copy code even) but they also used the worst possible multi-disc DVD case for the package. I briefly had a series set in this kind of case and the tabs holding the discs in place are very hard to press in to release the discs. I almost snapped the discs in half trying to get them out of the case. If they released it on Blu-ray AND included a digital copy code then I might have considered this set. But between the case, no digital code and it being on DVD it's a no buy for me unless it reaches a fire sale price of $30 or less.
I got a pirated copy of a different series that came in the exact same packaging so I thought my copy was pirated when I first got it. I'm still not sure to be honest.
Dude, The complete series not having a blu ray release is not the end of the world, so stop complaining about it and just deal with what we got, at least the whole series is on physical media.
@@JacobReeves-xe9hk If you find value in paying $80 for a buncha DVD's in a junk case then that's fine. I don't. Not after seeing how cheaply some of these sets are made. Like I said above I had a set this size and the case made it difficult to get the discs out. Not only that but the company that owns this series DID cheap out by not putting it on Blu-ray AND including a digital code.
I'd pay 30$ at most for this set 77$ right now on Amazon as I checked is still ridiculous maybe for a blu-ray set it would be worth it but dvds are in my opinion junk
I'm a bit late to the party, since I just bought the first 3 seasons for $15 altogether at my local thrift store & am watching the show for the very first time. Not to be a negative Nelly, but this box set is so disappointing, considering the level of care & detail put into the artwork for the first 3 seasons alone. It really speaks to how little corporations care about physical media releases nowadays. They used the worst type of multi-disc packaging possible & the minimalist table of contents is underwhelming. The LEAST Warner could have done (in my opinion, anyway) was make it a textured steelbook, with an episode guide that doubled as a mini art book. Maybe make some collectible trading cards or stickers or a fold-out poster. (If they wanted to whole-ass their cashgrab, they could've done a steelbook Blu-ray release & a normal slipcover DVD release.) Thank you for making this video! It solidifies my decision to just buy Seasons 4-6 in their original forms, rather than dropping money on this.
The movie is a great conclusion to this creative show. I would love to see them release this with the movie included. They were able to do this with the orginal Teen Titans so I don't see why they couldn't do the same with this for Blu-ray. I got my nephew into watching this show too. I watched this show since the first day it aired on adult swim.

For some reason every studio is allergic to SD on Blu-ray except anime releases.

@JacobReeves-xe9hk What they're charging for it and it not coming with a digital copy code AND on Blu-ray is obscene.
@CheapestGamer get over it!

Its a great underdog with lots of obscure music and comic references
and TV references. They even referenced the Canadian show "Degrassi," a show I loved in my teens.
That Jonny Quest Scene Make Me Dead. 1:25.
You wouldn't believe if i told you my dad got this and the finale movie for just 14 dollars at walmart!
Thats actually quite a steal. How though, was there a deal going on?
@stageactstudios the dude working there hates his boss so he did some ultimate karma he quited after that too 😂😂😂😂😂😂
They had plans for 2 or 3 more seasons to end the series before it got canceled

I'd definitely hold off. Blu-ray would have been 100% worth it!

Henchman 21 is one my favorite characters, do like most characters though in this series
One of my favourites also - his voice cracks me up. Love it!
You'll have to get the movie on 26th that ends it
Tag Sale, You're It Was Episode 10.
$130?? I got mine new for $30. It pays to shop around.📀
Nicely done!
Where was it $30?
I'd pay 77 fir it if had extra to do so
The whole series is great
Defiantly don't mind dvds, like blu rays, don't care for 4k blu rays, their usually overall darker/ dimmer picture then blu ray version
If you find 4k dull or dim, your TV isn't set up to watch 4k.
GARY!!!!! Nobody cares about The Venture Bros. Complete Series DVD Collection Boxset! I'm about to go see if I can get on Shallow Gravy's tour bus!
no they stacked the disks no thanks
