Congratulations on an incredible career, Cody! Your achievements in the pool are just the beginning of the legacy you’ve built in the swimming world. You’ve inspired so many swimmers and fans, and I know you’ll continue to make waves in this next chapter. Excited to see what’s next for you and hope to catch up soon! Cheers, man!
Congratulations Cody! Gotta admit it, got a little sad about your retirement though. I’ve been watching your videos for a long time and you have been a great motivator. I’m 70 years old now, still working out. There’s a first day and a last day for everything. Good luck with your future plans. I’ll be rooting for you.
Hi Cody, I’m a 13yo breastroker, and have enjoyed every moment of your career. Your dedication has shown me so much, especially through all my fails and errors in my swimming journey. Best of luck, and I’m definitely gonna miss the great Cody Miller.
Cody, I started watching your videos during Covid and after the 2021 Olympics, your videos always made/make me smile. Not only that but your career as a pro was inspiring and incredible, from the relationships that you made with other amazing people, to the work ethic and joyful demeanor that you always approached the sport with regardless of performance or struggles that were endured along the way. Thank you Cody
Congratulations, Cody! I have been following you since I start swimming from 0 three years ago at the age of 28 and after a spine surgery and I have to say it! You have been an inspiration and a motivation for me! (and for many people, I'm sure). You made me love and comprehend swimming a lot. You really made me appreciate the discipline and love for the grind of this sport and expand it to all the aspects of my life. Now after almost losing the ability to walk, I'm swimming 100m free in 1:24.42! Thank you, for all!! The best energy and vibes for you in your next chapter!
Cody, thanks so much for your inspiration and for the positivity you put out there. I met you when I was like 12 and it was the coolest thing ever. Your videos got me through the toughest points of my career where I was seriously thinking about quitting, and I’m really glad I didn’t. Wishing you the best in your retirement!
You are such an inspiration to all swimmers. You have one of the best careers of any swimmer, because of the impact you made. You have taught me so much about swimming and having fun! Your career after swimming will be just as valuable as it was during swimming.
Congratulations Cody on a beautiful career in swimming both in and out of the pool. You are a cornerstone in the swimming community and the form swimming has taken over the years. Thank you for everything! Can't wait to see your next chapter unfold! All the best
Hi Miller!!! Retiree. Me, too. You have given so much fun and laughter to so many for a long time. And yes, we all know the goofy persona hides a massive discipline and personal resourcefulness that's an example for all your viewers still in single digits. Those of us bordering on triple digits also still admire you.
I swim masters, i have been swimming since i was 10 yrs old . I am now still loving swimming and competing. Thank you, Cody, for all you have done for our sports. You are an inspiration.
Cody -- we're happy to hear you're now a Masters swimmer. We look forward to having you as a member. And just so you know: We've got 100 IMs and 50s of stroke. More personal bests in your future?
Congrats and thank you for everything!!! These videos have been a great thing to show my kids who are both swimmers. My son loved the Polar Bear Club idea, and my daughter has just gotten into breaststroke. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!
Honestly... Im happy that cody is just doing what he loves.... And also because i probably can see or compete against one of my favorite swimmers on a meet at a masters competition... Cant wait to see you at singapur this year
Congrats Cody on the amazing career! As a Union College alum (currently at Springfield College for my final year) meeting you in Schenectady when you taught the clinic for the Sharks club team was one of my favorite experiences of my life. You gave me amazing advice on how to train for the 200 breaststroke and that helped me excel to an amazing swim at my champs meet last year. I still take your advice to heart for my last year of college swimming this year, and enjoy time with friends, family, Ally, and your kids!
Congrats on a phenomenal career! But retirement just means moving on to other interests. I’m looking forward to seeing what is in store for you in the future!
Congrats Cody. I have enjoyed watching your pro career for the last 7 years or so. What you have done in the last few years, not to mention the last few weeks, is genuinely impressive. Hopefully see you on a master's pool deck someday. In the meantime, looking forward to continued content. See you in 2025!
Congratulations on a fantastic career; you have been a super inspiration to the swimming community of all ages, young and old! Thank you for taking us along your ride through your videos and media; it has been a blast watching you through the years! Perhaps triathlon - maybe an Olympic distance / 70.3 / full distance Ironman may be up your alley and next athletics journey given that you've biked and ran during COVID...hmm? ;)
cody when you swam back my mom was the official that told you you had to put your feet down more. She told me that you didn’t know they were to far up and you never swam this event. Then when you pulled out the sub 50 she didn’t believe you when you said that then she was laughing when i told her who you were
