Great content as always Frank! I’ve accumulated 14 Suzuki mid 90’s Vitaras & Escudos. Mainly soft tops. I love the retro design & rugged capability. Good on fuel too. Lots to get busy on. Your channel is my go to place! Only missing a video on rear door latch pieces & fixing. Keep up the great work.!, cheers from NZ🤙🤙🤙

Thanks for the positive comments. 14 is a lot of suzukies! I will keep the suggestion about door latches in mind for a future video. If you haven't checked it already all my vids and other notes are posted on facebook.com/SidekickRebuild/

Great vid, as usual, from the first second. What a cleaning ! How do you manage to obtain such a perfect cleanliness ? And speaking of cleanliness, what paint do you use for aluminium parts ? This glossy finish is very nice.

Cleaning is always the most time consuming part. I use small wire wheels and brushes on my dremel tool, lots of blue paper towels, big wire wheels on my drill motor, q-tips, wd-40, screw driver, and so on. When I have it all clean then I clean it a couple of more times with rubbing alcohol and then finally with FT-200 wax and grease remover. The paint is rustoleum from wallmart. Then two coats of rustoleum clear coat that makes it shiny and also makes it easier to clean off in the future.

@@nunapitchuk Thank you ;) Sure this is a lot of work but you can see the difference. Whatching your videos decided me to shoot some video myself. If you have some time, check my vitara channel : ua-cam.com/channels/WWIiffwtZrXRrhrdV0shWg.html
Unfortunately, it's in French (as I am french...), but it's mostly visual, with a very little text and no voice over at all.
