I so admire the man's enthusiasm and completeness and attention to detail. I'm getting the ProSeries delivered tomorrow one look at that ceiling and I said "wowsky"
Glad Meg got in there and "convinced" you to have a fully opening door. The layout looks really nice and especially the red cabinets. The two suggestions I have is to move the Ferrari disc-brake clock above the upper hanging cabinets and the ceiling, or over the door. That way, I think you'll be able to see it from most areas in the garage. And add a sound system out there, connected to the TV as well.
I bought those cabinets a couple of years ago and love them. I also had a similar door problem into the house. I solved it by hanging a new door that opened to the inside of the house instead of outward toward the garage. Luckily I had room to accomplish that, as I'm sure it wouldn't work in all houses.
Normal Guy Supercar I also felt like I was committing a crime cutting the back for outlet access, but it’s nice to put my various tool battery chargers out of site inside the cabinet.
Hi. I'm going with the pro. I've seen on the new age web site lots of people are complaining about the stainless steel table top that the gauge is super thin and even come damaged since they seem to be so fragile. Are you happy with the bamboo top. I work on small motors, and sometimes hammering is required. Wonder if I could screw in a vise as well? So now I'm just debating between bamboo or stainless... Thanks Mate ☺👍
Looks nice, Dan. I love living vicariously through you. You expend the blood, sweat and tears (plus any expense) and I get to look at a nice garage. I love how Mo was "mouthing off" to Meg. "Go away! No girls allowed!". As for your toe, all I could think was "But, your arm's off!"..."'Tis but a scratch."
Dan, the garage is looking good. I have the same cabinets (brand/model) but mine are white with grey doors. I have two of the big ones and then 3 upper and 2 lower (drawers) below with the middle open so I can sit at the bench. Have the under cabinet lighting and a one piece bamboo top cause the steel one would be cold. I also installed mine off the floor so they are floating. These are high quality cabinets and I am glad you got some.
Is the tool box really needed with all those drawers? If you punted that, one of the other tall closets could go there, giving a little more open space on the left side of the garage.
Awesome looking garage! And I love my Newage Pro cabinets and lockers. One thing I wished I knew was my stud spacing, I couldn’t add another upper cabinet due to my stud spacing and the bracket. I love how you notch two of the slat wall panel haha I shifted mines off center from my upper cabinets which I have my setup on my channel :)
Wifey is correct... as usual. You now have a much longer table without the tool box in the middle breaking it up. Much cleaner look and way more functionality.
Where your tall tool cabinet is I woukd put a tall cabinet. Tool chest could go to the right of the 2 grouped tall cabinets together. Where you currently have the 3 tall cabinets
Pull out the door frame and flip it so the door opens to inside the house if there is room to do so. Then you get more garage space. Hooray. Or make it small roll up door
@@freddaniali yeah not really practical either for getting in and out of the house many times and quickly. Barn door sliders are my go to but his angled wall wouldn't allow it
It does look really great. I've loved watching the transformation, but I'm ready for some 599 love again. What's the word on the manual conversion? :-)
Craziest part was they want $1,500 to install my $3,000 set-- that includes a $300 trip charge which is a standard charge no matter where you live. I can't imagine a competent handyman, retired contractor charging more than $400-500
Dan that's not a injury and real man would complain about. Sorry but your IT background is showing through. I'm not mad but disappointed. I'm quiet sure you injured yourself way worse riding your bike than this
Dan, looks awesome! I hope that this garage brings you many years of joy!
Thanks Fred

Yeah it's better this way

HAPPY NEW YEAR Dan & Meg , looking forward to the video's in 2021 !!!
Thanks
Happy NewYear Dan and Meg. Very excited to follow all your adventures in 2021.
Thank you! Looking forward to this year
That shade of red is perfect contrast
I agree
Congrats on the new garage Dan! It looks very professional.
Thank you
good choice, i did the same cabinets in my garage when i redid everything. durable and well built but not to expensive.
Agreed!
Just remove the door and replace with beads. It worked in the 70’s.
Ha!
Dan your garage is classy and very ferrari, love it.
Thanks
WOOHOO !!! Looks fantastic Dan !!! Great work !!!!
Thank you

I liked the wood top. It was pretty solid
Congrats Dan, enjoy your new garage. Looks great! My dream garagr
Thank you
Dan and meg happy new year. The cabinets look great in red, colour coordinated very well.
Thank you
Wife was spot on Bro it looks way better with the toolbox at the end like that imo
Yup she was right. 😁

Lol yes indeed

I'm quite pleased with them
Happy New Year Dan
Happy new year
Looks good, Dan. Just missing a lift and a Lamborghini. Then it will be ULTIMATE for sure!!!
Well the lift isn't going to happen, ceiling is too low... Lambo, possible in the future
Nicely done, Sir! I have strong feelings of garage inadequacy.....
Congrats on the garage those lights look amazing
Thanks
Looks real good Dan ...how about painting the inside garage door red ? ... just something different . Happy New Year to you and Meg!
Hmm not sure it can be painted
@@normalguysupercar
I like the idea of painting the garage door.....a black & white checker board pattern would be fitting...plus real easy to do....
Happy New Year Dude!
Thanks!
Hmm,the door can always go the other way..
Awesome job with that garage Dan! I have the same Newage Products Pro series set, but in the dark grey and I really love them!
I'm a fan, they are very nice
Is the tool box really needed with all those drawers? If you punted that, one of the other tall closets could go there, giving a little more open space on the left side of the garage.
I think it's still needed
The lights make a weird pattern on the car seems it would make it difficult to do good detailing ?
Na it's easy
Wow!!!! Looks great!
Thanks Todd
I think she won that one!!
LOL yup. Usually does.
I bought a tool chest one time. I was surprised that it weighed about 160lbs.
Lots of metal seems to weigh a lot. Lol
Yeah my studs are 18" I think. It made it a little tricky to get the cabinets hung
HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!! ALL THE BEST FOR YOU AND THE LOVELY MEG Keep up the good work my friend. :0)
Thank you
where did you get your tile flooring from? very nice.
I sell them! I don't have them up on my site yet but they are called Swisstrax and I can hook you up on a deal if interested.
@@normalguysupercar how do i get in touch with you? Yes if you get a good deal im ready to purchase right now.
@@Antmanlv email me dan@normalguysupercar.com
I can get you a deal. :)
Thanks Meg .... it was disturbing me also
Ha
What are the lights on your ceiling?

Where did you get those ceiling lights????
www.normalguysupercar.com/product/the-ultimate-garage-led-lighting-system-hexagon/
It’s SWEET!
Thanks
Fun stuff, looking beautiful, now you can never sell the house!
Nope
Where your tall tool cabinet is I woukd put a tall cabinet. Tool chest could go to the right of the 2 grouped tall cabinets together. Where you currently have the 3 tall cabinets
I like the final design now
Safety First, Dan. You have to wear your steel toe if you work with heavy stuff..🇺🇸💪🏽😎
Yeah I need a pair first
Nice stuff...looks great. But the next buy have to be some safety shoes haha
Perhaps
Why not just get a matter transporter? I saw one on sale for about two bucks at a yard sale.
Wow...looks good....except Meg going on about the door..the voice could break glass...lol
Why did you not install the feet at the bottom to get off the ground
I didn't want debris to get under them
@@normalguysupercar I slide my quick jacks under the tall cabinets. Then they are out of the way. Just a thought
@@normalguysupercar it also allows the pest guy to spray perimeter of house since I know your in Texas.
I’ll pay just to sit in your garage😂
Lol that can be arranged
Megs is being very naughty girl, me thinks. The cabinets are cool.
Pull out the door frame and flip it so the door opens to inside the house if there is room to do so. Then you get more garage space. Hooray. Or make it small roll up door
Then you would expose the hinge pins and create a security issue... all I would need is a drift, plink, plink, plink, and I am in.
@@freddaniali was a joke. Roll up door, not a joke
@@kmgiroux lol, gotcha! Roll up door would be cool but they are very expensive.
@@freddaniali yeah not really practical either for getting in and out of the house many times and quickly. Barn door sliders are my go to but his angled wall wouldn't allow it
I'm pleased with the current setup
It does look really great. I've loved watching the transformation, but I'm ready for some 599 love again. What's the word on the manual conversion? :-)
Soon.
Meg has spoken......................and was kinda right!
Yup
Shouldn't the door to the garage swing into the house anyway? Cool garage.
It's a partially detached garage...
Meg loves those boots
Yup
Calling it a “crash cart” sounds like tempting fate.
Na
Re-hinge that door
Do something about the bare concrete. Really takes away from the looks of the garage.
Needs an epoxy resin - red
Nope
@@normalguysupercar It would effect the sale of the house if that is in the future? Don't want to have to remove it?
No way I'd have all that metal stuff piled around my Ferrari!
It's fine
What are the odds that you actually hurt your toe after my joke in the last video?! 😳
When I read that knowing that I had already hurt the toe I was laughing
Craziest part was they want $1,500 to install my $3,000 set-- that includes a $300 trip charge which is a standard charge no matter where you live. I can't imagine a competent handyman, retired contractor charging more than $400-500
It's a good days work so that seems about right
Wine/beer cooler?
Your wife was a crack up!
Thank you!
You may have broken your toe or foot. I’d get rid of the Craftsman tool cabinet and replace it with Harbor Freight. Just kidding. 🤣
Ha!
You didn’t really show any install process just it completed.
Cool
A few months tuition in how to use those tools and you'll be good to go. Bottle jack comes to mind. Nice way to hid those expensive tools enjoy.
The car is the tuition
Not a project unless there is blood😅
Yup
Wow
Damn too much working not enough drinking. What happened to the wig and wine segments?
It's been a while
Dan that's not a injury and real man would complain about. Sorry but your IT background is showing through. I'm not mad but disappointed. I'm quiet sure you injured yourself way worse riding your bike than this
You need steel toed shoes.
Yup
Why are you squinting so much? You didn’t in your earlier presentations.
The wall with all the pictures look like s*** you know what I'm talking about
