- Just because you haven’t made an outstanding contribution to the sciences or arts does not mean you don’t possess intelligence. Whether it’s doodling all the time or staying curious about the world, certain habits or tendencies that you do can turn out to be a sign of high intelligence.

Did we make your depression go away with this video? Comment below.
No, but Amanda's voice gives me butterflies.
fun fact about me is its super rare for me to get depressed the first and last time i got depressed was last year people usually ask me how i said idk i was born with it i guess but also this vid i can relate to all of them i never realized i was highly intelligent
I don't have depression :)
But what if we start making that our habits dp we become smart? Or do stay just the same?
No, I still not have high intelligent because I don’t doodle in class. Should I do that? How can I concentrate while drawing in class?
Indeed, intelligent people are humble enough to understand that they don't know everything and can still learn
They also know enough about a subject to know they’ve only scratched the surface
i love learning and gaining knowledge
@@jadyn5062 i love it too!!! But i'm different from intelligent cause i'm stupid, that i can't understand easily everything😩
And nothing goes waste
Yeah, I remember Neil Degrasse Tyson said something similar, where if you think you know enough about a subject, then you clearly don't, where if you know that you don't know everything about a subject, then that shows intelligence.
If it's good enough for a well-renowned physicist, then it's enough for me to hope to strive for more in the future.

Well, being proud that you are smart isn't bad.
But, if you try to demean others and say you are better than them for it, you probably don't have the thing.

Mark was a genius. He also introduced me to the "you want what you can't get" psychology.
Education isn't found in the dogma of a classroom, nor in a state or private institution of any kind.
@@user-gz4ve8mw9l sure no problem let me learn how to design a rocket on my own, that's a good idea. I'll stick to learning engineering at a uni thanks.
@@user-gz4ve8mw9l It would be more accurate to say that education isn't "bound" to the classroom. You can learn in any environment if you choose to do so.
@@TeaRexI mean you don’t need uni to study rocket science/engineering If you need uni and don’t think you can learn it by yourself that’s a limitation you impose on yourself. education can and is done everywhere at all times especially now with the internet.
I believe that being able to prioritize effectively and efficiently is a sign of high intelligence. Some people, including “smart” people just don’t know what to do next or what is more important to tackle first. I don’t claim to be ultra-intelligent, but my ability to prioritize means that I rarely have to answer to the boss. Being able to prioritize also means I have more ability to do one thing at a time really well as opposed to several things at a time half-assed. Self discipline is a big factor in this trait.
I was always told I was gifted and scored in top percentiles on state tests, but man am I totally the opposite of this right here. I can do pretty much anything I set my mind to but I always feel like I'm slower than other people when it comes to, for example, when I worked as a dishwasher, or at a car wash, or stocking beer for a distributor.
Between my brain thinking about everything, and trying to do it all at once instead of just prioritizing one thing at a time, and having to do things 100% all the time (even when the job wants 75%, so that you can get more done). I always feel like I'm putting in more effort than everyone else to achieve basically the same results. Especially when my more polished 100% goes largely unnoticed, like in the mentioned, more manual labor, jobs I've had.
Am I really so smart afterall? Lol
@@derekspringer6448 discipline is a learned behavior. It takes practice. It sounds like you already know that you can do better, so you’ve got step 1 out of the way. Hello time traveler :>
Holy. You’re amazonf
how the what
HMMM how'd you get here??
This person‘s a member so they have early access. I call them time travelers :>
One big problem is that nowadays, intelligence is all about remembering what you "learned"
You can go to school as a child, fix an electric fan and everyone will go "Wow! You're so smart!" But you fail the class and the words are now "Wow! You're incredibly stupid! You can't do anything. You won't ever find success!"
The only moments people appreciate these attributes is when they need it the most, but once the problem is solved they'll go back calling you an idiot.
This is true, people appreciate me more for what I learn and what I do than who I am as a person and my values
You need to show more adaptability like mentioned in the video. Be able to intake the information from class and synthesize it. Alternatively, concede you don't know anything about the school topics, which was another point in the video to understand you don't know everything.
That is a very sad truth.
However, if the option of others is what guides your plans in life, I suppose someone would give up due to no positive feedback?
Or what if someone received encouragement even through failure??
Would it be a worthy advantage to dust yourself off and try again??
WE ONLY LEARN THROUGH MAKING MISTAKES!
That doesn't mean that others are always right...
It's just another way of seeing the problem?
(Or adults are just too damn bold in culture to admit they're wrong).
Well, today I actually not failed, but, tbh i did not the best. So one of my classmates was like: ohh, how is this possible? I seriously don't understand how...
Obviously he did better. Mostly, I'm the one of the best students in my class so sure, it can be confusing but every comment like that makes me feel worthless even if i'm the last person who should think like that. And it's just sad
I don't view myself as someone who is "highly intelligent" but I found this video describing me with each step. My most common expression is "I don't know how to do that - yet." I love learning new things and that's why I subscribed to your channel 😂 Thank you for your content on so many things, it has helped immensely in understand some people in my life in a different way and maybe how I can better support them where they are at in their journeys.
I’m absolutely the same way as you. My point of watching these videos is to better understand everyone who is around me and their perspective on things. When I hit a road block to something I don’t understand I look deeper into it. At some points I feel like an idiot because I wasn’t just born with the ability to memorize things the first time I hear it like others I know, but deep down inside I know I have all the factors pointing to intelligent people. I just work harder to memorize new subjects.
I dont see myself as highly intelligent» the irony for being humble, respect
❤
Maybe you are just above average intelligent, not highly intelligent then. Those facts dont seem like they would apply only to the next einstein, but to like the top 10-20% of a normal school class at best.
I understand you
Traits I found for myself:
1 - I can adapt quickly in new environments and feel save and chill in them.
2 - I question a lot of things. Thou that sometimes is problematic in a relationship, due to trust concerns, I just can't stop doing it. It also increases my curiosity in a wide range of topics, but not all.
4 - I like doing a lot of different stuff, therefore I learn a lot of new stuff. Right know I learn japanese, increase my programming skills and try to figure out content creation.
5 - I did doodle during school and before I was doing home office, but stopped with covid.
6 - I thing reflexion is key to a happy and healthy life. Everyone should do it, to not only enhance your life, but the lifes of your loved ones as well!
7 - As already mentioned, I am super open to new topics. Especially when I talk to new people I try to dig into the topics they know about best.
(I don't thing I am highly intelligent, just a bit over the average.)
My mother used to say, "You don't have to do what they want you to do just because they tell you they're your superior." Unfortunately for her, I also applied this rule to dealing with my mother. :)
ABSOLUTELY
Same here :>

Some wise man once said: "Truely intelligent people are never bored. They always have yet another thought to chase."
Best comment. Thanks for sharing this quote
So not humans
Wait but, the more intelligent an animal is people find they need toys (aka a form of entertainment) to stop them from getting bored, especially humans so that kinda makes no sense? HJKL
edit:
to anyone still replying, idr anything about this so I don't know how to respond -- ig what i was saying is just that the more intelligent an animal is, the more entertainment they need to keep their brain going, you can daydream and stuff but you can't do that all the time because eventually you'll get bored or something like that idrk lol
like, for example, spiders don't need any form of entertainment. They wait for bugs (i think, I'm no entologist, ik jumping spiders are smart -- but even then they don't have entertainment from what I understand) and do basic survival things. Animals, like dogs, need to play and socialize or they'll become depressed. Humans also need to have entertainment or they'll become bored, and even depressed if they don't socialize. Dogs are smarter than spiders and need entertainment, and humans are smarter than dogs and need more forms of entertainment (a dog could do the same thing over and over and not get bored, but a human can't if that makes sense). So, if you were intelligent, yes you can be entertained by merely your thoughts and daydreams (which is a unique human thing), but that won't last forever (like younger me thought this suggested, I don't think the quote meant that lol), your mind will eventually want to do something.
but like i said, don't expect a reply because idr any of this -- that's just what i think i was saying lmao
i do agree with what @soniccookie655 said and I think he explains it better than I just did too lol
edit 2: Now people are writing paragraphs, omg 💀
Idk what is happening anymore please stop replying it's been a year
@@pinkfluffy82 They make toys. Its not like wild animals can come cry for mom to buy them a new Mindstorms set.
@@pinkfluffy82 Also, highly intelligent people learn quickly, so new stuff gets boring before long. They also make connections to previous things they’ve known, so the object or activity is less new than it otherwise would be. Just thinking doesn’t entertain most people.
Highly intelligent people are also prone to depression, which makes the world less interesting and gives you less energy to seek out new entertainment.
I am very proud to be able to say that I have become very intelligent emotionally over the past year and a half. My life has changed massively and the result is incredible. I experienced massive lows and terrific highs, and i look forward to the future. Learning is one of the ways I can keep feeling young/like a kid.

@@freshstrt3140I wouldn’t say I am highly intelligent, but I am decently emotionally sentient. Just be aware of yourself and how you feel more. Analyze your own feelings first. Ask yourself “why do I feel this way?” Or “what is making me do this”. It’s not really about being more “intelligent” it’s about bettering yourself mentally
I know I'm dumb as shite but still do some of these things. I have a feeling some of these traits are very common and don't necessarily reflect "high intelligence", basically just being a normal human with maybe a little bit of extra self awareness. And this is not negative feedback at all since you help people feel better about themselves when they need encouraging words, but I'm just cynical as hell
I mean i also feel dumb as shit tho I relate to all that stuff and have a confirmed IQ of 129
If you think you're stupid you're actually not because your aware of your weaknesses, if you claim you're a genius you're most likely stupid and definatley have a big ego, just like how crazy people think they're not crazy and vice versa
Really though it doesn't matter and It's better not to think about what I said, it tends to make me contradict myself because I feel really stupid' but that must mean I'm smart, but now I know I'm smart so am I stupid? ... “Doodling is your brains way of trying to stay focused”
Me: that’s so BACKWARDS
It’s like how slightly fidgeting can help you focus. It’s just a quirk of our brains I guess lol
If I’m doodling I’m probably not listening and think about oh just about everything else lol
I think it partially depends on how the doodles relate. The history class I did best in was the one where my friend and I doodled stick figures all over our class work. If you put our pages together, it was a complete scene, but it was always somehow related to the topic, even if it was exaggerated and silly. We both got As in that class and I am notorious for being horrible in history.
Trust me, keeping yourself at least slightly mentally present through doodling is usually much better than trying to force yourself to stay focused in a class you hate while you feel your brain cells slowly die off
I would do this all thr time during school. I would get yelled at for doodling on my tests. 😂😂
I think one of the most intelligent traits anyone can develop is admitting you aren't experienced in an area and asking for help from someone who's had more experience. Also I don't really doodle, but when I'm focusing on something I often have a fidget toy or stress ball that I'm messing with in the background, I have an infinity cube on my desk for example.
you are helping so many people, keep going. and do you draw this on you're own? it's amazing.
when i was little, my mom would read my sister and i classic novels like tom sawyer, but she gave us whiteboards and told us to doodle on them as she read to us. she explained that doodling helps with retaining information, and that has stuck with me all my life. it’s so interesting to see it could be a sign of intelligence
I like your mom
What?! Dude, your mom sounds so cool!
I find this fact extremely interesting as it reminded me of this time in 5th grade when my teacher yelled at my entire class because the “majority of us were always doodling on our school work”. She became so annoyed by this that if we doodled on any type of work we had to hand in to her, she would take 1 point off for each doodle. Now I’m having the realization that she was actively making it harder for us to learn whether she knew it or not.
Then how come when I doodle in chemistry class i have no idea what the teacher just said
@@benjaminberail2725 haha! it can help with retaining information, depending on how your brain is structured. it doesnt help everyone
"You‘re looking for information/knowledge" Yep, that’s why I watch Psych2go, it’s literally saving my day to watch your psychology content, since I still have trouble understanding the behaviors of other people (since I have autism). So I just wanted to say thank you 🙏🏻
We all have trouble understanding one another, this is the challenge we face every day for all of us some more than others. Well done you, keep moving forward. 👏❤️👍
@@mariehaverty8209 Thank you a lot!! 😃😁💚
Interesting
What is 'autism' ?
@@NM-xj6om I am not the best at explaining it, but it is a developmental disorder that shows itself in having big problems with socializing, communicating and social understanding. It has complex disturbances in the nervous system, especially in the perceptual processing. That basically means that people who have autism feel everything like 2 times more. They hear everything louder, smell everything more etc. That costs a lot of energy processing all these things in a day and if we have too much, we react in different ways. Some get aggressive, some just so tired that they don’t "function" anymore and in the worst case some pass out. People with autism also think in a way different way than people without it and also have a unusual way of thinking and problem solving (which isn’t always a bad thing, for me it’s a big benefit). That’s it :) If you still don’t understand it, look up a professional definition or ask someone professional. I just explained it with a google definition and the symptoms I had/have, which one of them is the social understanding, that’s why psychology explains to me how humans work and are how they are. Hope it helped, have a nice day :)
My young and curious grandchildren are the apple of my eye; they ask questions about what I am doing. I answer with a question for them which initiates a conversation. I am always amazed by their thought processes. Bless their wee souls.

Your brain is made up of many folds, but if you were to lay it all out, you could see and compare to others. (Think even biology and how surface area determines the rate at which diffusion occurs in cells). I've learned that people who claim to be intelligent often have some of the traits in the video, but lack others. It's not a bad thing to be average. Try to stay humble. =)
-me, an average smart non humble person
@Jaxon Kennedy wise words
@Jaxon Kennedy Nobody likes people boasting, doesn’t mean It’s fact though. People who boast about their IQ are generally annoying though.
@@Sarawarawara- I think people who boast about their IQ are quite dumb because IQ is only a small fraction of intelligence (even EQ and IQ combined isn't imo even half of true whole intelligence). Even IQ tests doesn't really measure IQ correctly because you can train those by training your logical thinking. Overall intelligence is so broad concept that it can never be measured and even people who may have low IQ and EQ, may be more intelligent by their experiences and hard work compared to someone with high IQ and EQ but who doesn't have experience or make use of that IQ/EQ of theirs.
I had none of the things that are in the video, does that make me a dumbass? No
Those who are "intelligent" tend not to be humble, they tend to be arrogant and ego driven I'm here talking about those who are the 1 in 100 people, i.e they were one of, if not the smartest person in their school, or at least they think they were. The truly gifted, i.e those who are IQ 150 + do tend to be humble and they will likely exhibit all the attributes listed to a varying degree. However you likely won't know they are that smart, unless you work/school with them in an environment that they like and where they have the opportunity to demonstrate how stupidly smart they are. They tend to be the nerds, the loners who don't fit in etc.
When they get older and realise that it's not arrogant to repeat what others say, they may admit that other people keep telling them how stupidly smart they are, but rarely will they ever tell anyone how smart they are, mostly because they frequently don't realise that they are.
I've been doing all this from the age of 10. Never really thought about intelligence, but had a good life and career. 58 years later I'm still learning new things every day.
Not completely but still, same
You are average. Just like the rest of us.
A note to point 2:
I always see the possibility of identifying weaknesses in the behavior of myself and others, which I reflect on and reacting to similar situations with an adapted behavior. This has helped me especially with personal family problems where the pathological behavior helps me to develop myself further so that I don't end up in a similar situation.
pro tip: dont sit your younger siblings down and say "I know what's wrong with you, do you need help fixing that?" From experience, they will not appreciate it

It's actually quite interesting. I always doodled in my school time, my school and college books look like a mad persons art diary. A few of my teachers told me to stop it (which I never did) and now I know, that it actually helped me process the knowledge. If only my teachers had seen this Video. I probably wouldn't have had so many discussions about it.
Why did she tell you that? You don’t usually hand in a doodled note! You hand in essays! (Retired English teacher, here!).
They see doodling as a lack of focus. It’s a materialistic view.
Huh but doesnt everyone doodle..?
Like for example me
Im an artist so i always draw and doodle in class
That doesnt make me smart?
I THOUGHT EVERYONE DOODLES
OR GETS BORED
it cant be that that makes you smart
Its probably only if its almost all the time or something idk
5:56 i, myself can check of all the mentioned things. But it can honestly be a bit hard for me to adapt sometimes. For example, being with new people or learning things in a brand new way, takes a lot of my energy. I really love to doodle whenever i have classes or draw in my free time. I learn most things visually, so it helps me in many ways when i draw notes, instead of writing them down.
I've always considered myself to be quite intelligent though my IQ is on the normal/mid side. I've never thought that self reflection would be a sign of high intelligence though, it's something that come pretty natural to me since at least puberty. I'm fairly new to EQ and didn't even know about CQ as all everyone discussed in school was IQ. Very interesting video - As always!
This is the issue of everyone watching these videos. They think they are special and really smart, but they are not. They are just like the rest of us.
I'd say that this is a very odd list, considering a lot / most of those things are found in / done by the average human regularly.
1. adaptation isn't a natural given to a lot of people, but humans in general are a very adaptive species
2. sufficient non intelligent people question everything as well
3. at a basic level we all admit that we don't know everything, we just don't want to admit we don't know about certain things
4. seek knowledge = human curiosity?
5. every human will get bored if placed in the right/wrong situation and/or with the lack of his/her preferred stimuli
6+7+8 may be on the spot, although it can still mean a variety of other things besides intelligence
(6) they may just like to draw and don't remember anything else that happened during doodling
(7) they may lack self confidence
(8) they may be indecisive people who can't make up their mind or don't know what to believe because they don't understand
I’m pretty sure this video Is more vague to make It so that people can feel good, like the video and watch more
If you consider different perspective of peoples in terms on how they use the “natural capability of humans to do all of this” you will clearly see the line where intelligence stands
@@LV03 I understand where you are coming from, but some of these items on the list are purely intrinsic to neurotypical people who have talents in certain areas. Unless you believe that autistic people and people with ADHD, etc, can't be intelligent, then (1) adaptability, and (6) doodling(?) and (8) remaining open to new opportunities are not at all indicators to smartness. It's just an odd list, and it's quite exclusive of people with developmental and mental disorders so I did find this video to be quite frustrating.
@@Sarawarawara- This. It's just a clickbait video full of Barnum statements designed to leech ad revenue off of insecure people. I miss when Psych2Go used to actually post helpful and insightful psychology content rather than this drivel.

Same. Even more, I think some of these things could be signs for a lot of other things too.
I, for example, have ADHD and so I am and always was a big doodler. For me, that doesnt mean that I am intelligent, but my prefrontal cortex needs that stimulation to stay focused. Thats just it. 🤷♀️
That just shows how much humility you have! Hmm.. something sounds smart around here :)
I found this Video random on my Page and I love it. Really. It is so calm and sweet to listening and watching it.
All except 1. Thank you for this! ❤
Yeah, those videos are helping us out (us the viewers), with our mental health, and to help us what we're stuck on in our personal lives.
Those videos are still a great use of helping us, and to show us to know what things could help us out. Which it is a good thing for all of us (when I mean "Us" I meant the viewers).
Thank you for pointing out our mission :)
@@Psych2go Your welcome.
Communicate with other people is also a habit of intelligent people.
Yep! And one of the most important skill to develop.
rip im terrible
Ok but what if someone's just asocial by nature, because they find the activity of talking to most people boring (but not actually considering people themselves as boring, every single one of us is a walking universe)? Let's say they just lack interest, no matter how much they try to be interested in a conversation sometimes, like, their brain and heart will say "whatever, I might be feeling something, but it doesn't seem to be that deep, so we're moving on now".
What do you think of this situation? Is this some kind of emotional disease to cure? Is this some sort of unwanted narcissism? What will happen to these kind of asocial people in the long running? Will they completely fail in life or never build a decent career? Is there a way to change their opinion and actually make them a little more interested in building connections (in the least artificial way)? Asking for a friend, since I'm kinda worried.
Hi person with the same name as mine.
@Lukas Nero Thank you, I'll figure out how to explain it and let them know. They're quite a difficult person to convince 😅✨
I'd like to consider myself a smart person, and I can relate to some of these things, such as admitting to not knowing everything and frequently reflecting on whatever I do. Of course, this channel should not act as a substitute for professional psychology, but it's definitely chock full of things that are nice to know, and I find myself learning a lot, and sometimes relating to these videos!
Amazing video! I've really enjoyed it, for me, I do all these thing, but just on a small level. Sometimes I watch a random video, and then try to find as many informations about it as I can, but sometimes, I just don't.
literally everyone in the comments: “you know, I’m something of a mega mind myself”
I love the way how she calls our Srinivasa Ramanujan.........
Ramen Noodles
Nice of you that you made clear difference between intelligent but arrogant peoples and the wise ones! :) And about doodle it is an interesting fact that is quite used by individuals with psychic ability to access infos on it by feeling.
Omg there was a time in my life very recently that I was obsessed with my own intelligence trying to become more intelligent and also feeling bad about not being intelligent enough. Until recently I didn’t even do the IQ test.
In school I remember leaning about different intelligences and teachers teaching it very well but there was a bit of subliminal messaging that IQ was still the top dog. And wasn’t talked about. beautiful in its way of keeping a confusing-lesson-about-education alive.
And now after facing my fears in the matter really embraced my intellect.
I’ve always questioned everything and been doodling unexplainable stuff. Thank you so much!
The doodle part really got to me, 50% of my study or meeting notes are drawings, and I thought this was unproductive, but in fact I always felt that I absorbed the contents more when I drew while listening.
A man I just got sick of and decided I didn’t need, was the only guy I dated who never went to college. He had a routine that he never broke, never would watch a short video, even if it talked about Lyme or anything else that explained my illnesses, told me other women had given him books to read, but he never did. He watched a movie every night, fell asleep to it, got up and went to bed and had a timer on the light in the room in which he watched TV, fell asleep with the TV on, and never used his air conditioner, yet got bitten by tons of bugs that came through the screens every night. He would never come to my house, not even when I was being physically abused by my adult disabled son. He said, “He’s gone now, so just forget about it. I couldn’t, but I forgot about him!
I forgot to mention we dated while I was in college and he was fixing cars. I had decided he had no future. He said he would never change then and he was right!
I cant draw good but you bet that almost every paper i get has like cubes and random junk doodles with pen lol, i don't know if it means anyrhing
you have helped me understand that knowing you don't know every thing is a good thing
I feel… Highly intelligent now-
Doesn’t Change the fact that I’m bad at math.
same bestie
I am bad at math but everything here was verry much like me .. so i will just say . Knowing math ≠ inteligence
Yeah, math and I are not friends. We were pretty close in the 8th grade but then parted ways.
I skipped over algebra, took Spanish and wound up getting my Master's in American history.
Still can't do algebra. 😄😊😁😜
Math is a subject I have never felt comfortable with despite I made it to deferential calculus. What gifts math has blessed me with is quantifiable reason. I am able to view certain situations in number base, probability and even statistical variation. I have never felt intelligent, quite the opposite because I feel that what I know everyone should know. But if that is true, where did this information on enzyme kinetics come from and all this abstract knowledge of neurophysiology come from??? Um, forget that last part...I DON'T DOODLE!!!
Math is only one aspect. You probably could be good at it, if you were taught the right way, but that's not the point. I'm rubbish at things like anagrams, but math is really easy to me. Remember that nearly everyone is brilliant at some thing, but most people never find out what. You can be gifted and not be good at math. Don't let anyone else's judgements define you.
Thank you for your hardwork psych2go☺️
Thank you for supporting us!
Very useful and informative video. Thanks for sharing. I agree with the facts that you stated 🤓
Thanks for making this video. And all other videos. I really like to learn something new. I don't care what is it as long as it's something what will distract me. I understand myself more ever since I started watching your channel. Thank you so much. And thanks for calling me intelligent. 😁😁😁
It's nice to see this video after taking an exam from school today. It's okay if your intelligent you should love yourself for who you are. You don't have to solve a math question or draw amazing pictures everyone has something they love and are passionate about...💜
I’ve noticed I really pay attention to these videos when I usually zone out on these types of videos. Is it because of the colorful pictures and soothing voice or is it because I can try to find out things about me like a little survey?? Maybe both idk
Love it.
I found seven of the characteristics you mentioned similar to me,the one im missing is me accepting myself, which is why i watch this channel,it has helped me in the past and im sure it can help you now.
I believe I'm intelligent, but I never doodle or get bored. The reason I don't get bored is because I always have something stored in my brain to analyze. There are an infinite issues in my head that need to be deconstructed and explained.
I'm the same as you I don't doodle but I occasionally start analyzing the room or fiddle with something instead(I'ts kind of the same as doodling).
Boredom isn't sitting around doing nothing what you explained as sitting with your own thoughts or rethinking a reason situation I would say is a form of boredom. Because u didn't describ it as u were doing something else at the same time and you didn't sound to happy about it.
No, I doodle and I get bored and I am smarter than you. 😋
I feel like the first one doesn’t really only apply to intelligent people. The human race has had to adapt over hundreds of thousands of years just to survive. I feel like intelligence makes it easier to adapt but in reality it’s truly just something that is hardwired into most people.
Tell that to all the people throughout history that could not adapt, and thus genetically were wiped off the face of earth along with their low IQs.
Not a big problem now, but before daddy gov, you just died.
I agree. I think of it more in terms of chameleons, intelligent people are able to adapt so smoothly that they're hard to pick out. Others will probably whine and have a harder time of it.
@@7poboy That's a good point. We're genetically afraid of heights and snakes bc those dumb enough to fall off a cliff or get bitten weren't able to pass on their stupid genes 🤣
First one doesn't apply to me because of my anxiety disorder. Change makes me uncomfortable...but I eventually adapt to it. Everything else is spot on.
@@ClarisseRockinThatBow I hope you realise the truth about change at some point. Change is a good thing, but humans are hard wired through evolution to be afraid of it. Consider this. Every single good thing in your life is there because of change. With change comes opportunity and not only that, change is inevitable, everything is always changing.
Perception is the key, once you realise that change is a good thing, then your anxiety will likely resolve itself. I wish you luck :)
I don't know about others but your videos are helping me a lot to fight depression so thank you so much ! love your videos!
I hope you enjoy your day and don't give up
@@Trooper50000 thank you so much
They are very helpful videos 😎
@@MrsMalfoyhere your welcome
@@MrsMalfoyhere my names lisa as well :)
Love your work! Keep it up.
It helps me learn a lot about myself, and what improvements to make. I was once like this, but now I only have a few qualities of all that were listed. So, this video helps me in improving myself and I get to know a lot about our brains. Thank you.
I appreciate the effort and content of these videos and can prove as validation or comfort for people. I can’t help but draw a comparison between such videos and zodiac signs/mbtis, on the surface they seem specific and relatable but they are designed to fit everybody.
i was literally just working on a presentation all about why my significant other is intelligent, and even using one of your wonderfully put together videos to support it. what a coincidence lmao
i am not particularly curious about everything but the things i AM interested about i will do all the research i need to learn about it and not stop.
Excellent video! I'm very glad to hear that so many aspects of my personality are such positive things! FYI, Plymouth, a coastal city in the county of Devon in England isn't pronounced Ply-mouth. It takes its name from the fact that it lies at the "mouth" of the Plym river. Plym sounds like Plim, so Plym Mouth is correct.
And mouth sounds like "muth"
I have most of these traits. I never doodled instead of taking notes. I’m always up for learning new things.
Just watching this made me feel was better about myself, I do most of this stuff and I have a few brain problems where certain parts don't connect. So just knowing that I'm not stupid even though I can be very gullible and confused just makes my day!
you have no clue how much your videos have helped my paranoid personalty disorder, you have gotten me so confident, tmrw im gonna confess to my crush :)
watching your channel has helped me understand the differenct between being smart and intellegent, anyone can become smart but being intellegent seems to be more like a personality type or way of thinking. which in that difference you can get people with odd mixes like being intelligent but not necessarily smart, since being smart is having vast knowledge, but most people dont take the same paths or lengths of schooling, so you can still be an intelligent person but not be as smart if you chose to go to a trade school to learn a skill for your career, meaning you didnt have the college classes as another person so they could be seen as smarter than you but you can still say your more intellegent than them
So very glad I subscribed to this channel way back. *Everything* - content, narration, voice (👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻), animation - everything...everything about this channel appeals to me. And its helped me like no one else. Ima be a sponsor here one day 💯. Kudos, Psych2go! I absolutely love you! ❤️❤️❤️🎩
Thanks for telling us❤️
Thanks for the VOD, now i feel like highly intelligent ;)
This is great... Spot on - Liked and subscribed! - There is never a catch all.. So not everyone will be happy with this video!
That heart doodle looks very familiar...
0:17 Srinivasa Ramanujan 🤩❤
I relate to all of these, thank you this really helped as I am sad at the moment and found your videos they were all relatable 🎉, especially the toxic friends one 😢.
I love how many people clicked on this video just because they felt smart and hoped that this video would strengthen them in this awareness.
It’s beautiful, the part where she talked about meta-cognition I do all of the time! If I don’t know something and I know part of a word or a word root or an association I’m equipped enough to look further and educate myself to explain something as best as I can in a new field and I’ve become more open to fields outside of my interest!
Now that is limitless human potential and awareness! Every modicum of information we humans gather on a daily basis leads elsewhere and expands and expands exponentially leading us to discover answers that were there the whole time! It’s why I love learning and drawing connections between fields of science and technology not previously thought before! I think science will become have to become broad-scoped rather than narrow/pigeonholed to tackle today’s challenges and to birth new titans like Newton and Franklin. Reader, maybe you or I could be the giants whose shoulders we stand on!
I knew a wise man once, he said "switching to your sidearm is faster then reloading" one time that was true, unlike ga,es it takes several seconds to reload, also games often dont consider jams and things like that, when playing cod long ago i heard this quote it helped me pass training. Also just want to say my parents said asking questions was annoying and "somthing a werid person would do" and then I was never open about stuff often lied and said I dont know... allot... and I left them early my dad dame back in touch when I enlisted, he was very open and told me about his childhood and that he was abused, my mom talked about this plenty long ago, I felt bad and he brightened up from what I once knew.
Your channel always makes me feel good. Hey you probably won't read this, but if you do I want to say thank you for your videos. I highly appreciate them and I hope you appreciate my kind words.
Wishing you all the best
I frequently do some of these (I would say that the one I notice most of them is the curiosity) , however I definitely dont posses with all these abilities, or not in all spectrums. But I also suppose that it doesnt have to be all of them, and also, everybody is different, so I think that we can find out just by observing ourself, nothing else can judge that precisely. Btw, great video, so velvet voice, like an pat on mind, nice animations, I enjoyed it, subscribing ;) :3
Damn… psych2go! Another well researched and easily understood video. Well done 👍🏻 At a certain point, I removed my capability to become bored and made it productive instead. I wish I remembered how and help others with it but alas I don’t remember. I may take up doodling if it improves cognitive function although there are other ways besides doodling. Anyways, thank you for all the information
4:15 "You're in a meeting or a lecture that has gone on for hours and despite the boredom you feel, you've started to take notes but halfway through, your page is covered in doodles"
I BIG YOUR PARDON!
It's super important to know what you don't know, it's good that we have a very public example of how much of a detriment not understanding how much you don't know can be.
So true. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have any of these qualities all humans are smart enough to live. But if you have any of these qualities, Great! Use them to make life better for all of us!
Hey. Thanks for coming here. Have a nice day/ night!
I absolutely love enjoying these videos, such great content and knowledge!
0:55 this is the sign of love yourself album of BTS 💜
don't involve that kpop shit in everything
Recently I did have what I would describe as a thinking overload about love. I’ve never been the type of person to think about this topic because I’d thought I’d already understood the concept. Little did I know that it was way more complex than I had anticipated for my mind. Thus after just a few minutes and a only a bit through a relationship video between two people, I was crying tears that I didn’t understand and thoughts that I couldn’t comprehend and order effectively. After a while I managed to cool myself off but I have never forgotten that experience as it was probably the most difficult thing I’ve ever had to endure
thank you for this video, now i know about myself some new things☺💜
