How long should a nib last you? I know they don’t last nearly as long as fountain pen nibs (which really only need to be replaced if you drop the pen nib first, or otherwise damage the nib directly) since they are more delicate, and springy. But what metric can you use to figure out how long until you need to replace the nib?

Do you think fountain pen ink is too runny/thin for dip pen?
I believe fountain pen ink is fine for dip pen but it doesn’t go the other way around.
