This was crazy. This was a nearly 40 minute performance. With this at the end. Not once, not one time in the entire 40 minutes did he miss the beat. He had every comedic pause, every quip prepared. And then said the names of a couple hundred Pokémon, and only missed like 2 to take a breath. And it was completely memorized. He had no cues, no prompts besides the occasional glance at the screen. Which he did not do once during the rap. BDG is either god, or could kill god, and I do not care if there is a difference.

I know a lot of people love Brian building up to this outburst of anger during the opiate addiction bit in the educational rap, but there's also something about hearing his enthusiasm circle the drain the whole way through and then try to snap back to the goofy educational rap voice immediately after.

I love that unlike basically any other form a pokerap could take, this one would not have to have the song itself change to update with new mons every generation. Just make the audience participation lists longer and boom, new full pokerap anyone (with a sufficient sized audience) could perform.

Every time I come back to this video I click for the sick triple rap rhymes, get carried away with the educational rap and stay eventhough I didn't exactly intend to watch the whole thing again and then get so emotional at the end that I tear up. Every. Time.
The more I rewatch this, the more the dream ballet truly shines as a work of art. last time I checked, my Red and Blue were still fine, maybe i'm just lucky. With the gold edition, that i got used, I had to change the battery, but the 2nd gen also had realtime clocks, so they probably use more battery. I just realized what makes this the perfect pokerap: with every new generation added, you don’t need to change the song. Every new pokemon can be placed in the audience participation section and nothing will be out of place

I'm nearing 30 years old, and I've been listening to this song for the past three years and loving it, but this year... I've played a pokemon game for the first time ever (sword) and I finally GET the ending. I used to think it was sweet and cute, but having finally played a pokemon game for myself? The thought of having to part with even one of my beloved team makes me wanna cry. The end of this song hits different now.

Sadly at this point the Save Battery is probably dead and Terry is gone forever

With the gold edition, that i got used, I had to change the battery, but the 2nd gen also had realtime clocks, so they probably use more battery.
