Bjorn this is the first comment I have made on one of your channels. But I would like to thank you for your wisdom, COMMON SENSE and calm manner. Don't let the controlling establishment shut you down. We very much need cool and collected thought in this time of unrest. Again thank you from one norse heathen to another.

The camp fire. The camp fire calms the mind and warms the body. The combination warms the sole (spirit) and allows us to be closer to our creator ( your choice).
Being out in nature for several days allows us to re-set our emotions, etc. It's been to long since I was out in nature, and because of other factors, it will be a long time to come.
Little VISUAL trips like this to places I've never been gives a few minutes of what I miss so much. Thank you. ;-)

Watching you and your son go out to camp together makes me feel so full of wonder and hope! As I sit here at home, on this fine rainy day, I wonder what the skies are like on your side! Peace and joy to you, and a cup of cocoa. 🎉

Yes, the close to home ‘wildernesses’ are so valuable. I never get tired of going to mine, no matter where else I’ve been.

Thank you. We taught our sons to take their bearings before heading into the woods. I ran free in the woods, low and fast, climbed high into the trees. As a girl, my Dad did not worry, he knew I could find my way home. So our sons were out in woods on my husband's shoulders in a baby carrier at one month old.

It's midnight here in UK and I'm watching your video from 2 days ago I think it's such a beautiful place to camp and it's helping me to relax,I have a special place here in UK Cornwall called redsands it's an hour's hike from here on my hill and at the top of redsands old mining deposits I can stand and look right across the river Tamar the woods are broadleaf and pine and I've camped their many times alone and climbed down over redsands to the riverbank to set up camp amongst the wild garlic, the river is fast flowing and just listening to the sounds at night was so amazing and the beauty of being at one with the elements I spent 2 weeks wild camping by that river and hiking the woods and riverbank, their is no better way to be happy.loved your video overnighter and will watch the one I missed on saturday.thanks.martha on the hill in Cornwall UK.

Who cares what time it is. If you need to gather, Gather! If you need to eat, Eat! If you need to sleep, Sleep! As far as work is concerned........ bugger that!! (but currently, I know I have to do what I have to do, so...... I owe, I owe, so it's off to work I go! but I dream of the day I don't have too! ) As far as the circles are concerned. All the Hopes & Fears? More importantly........... All the DREAMS !! Always look on the positive side & the future! It's not all that bad & it's certainly what we make it (for each other & what ever that may me!) Stay well my friend!

Nature truly is beautiful, I went for a running session in the woods this evening before sunset and some deer speeded right by me, stopped and looked me in the eyes from a distance of like 10 meters for a good thirty seconds, it felt like I was looking into the eyes of a character, like a soul, not just some brainless deer. That sounds obvious but it gets visualized when it happens to you, there is nothing more impressive than nature and it's native animals, truly makes you feel one with nature.

Bushcraft tv - probably much more interesting than that box in the living room. Sure, I have a tv set - but I haven't any tuners or whatever for decades!
I actually meant to visit that stone circle area last fall - but miscalculated the tine used to get down there. 'Twas starting to get darker, so I headed to those petroglyphs instead, to shoot some pics

I enjoy these. This past December, I had a campfire and built a small stove from pink granite. It was in a canyon with a creek bed in it, but there had not been water there for many, many years. Anyway, a couple of the pink granite rocks I used exploded. It was quite a surprise! They just cracked apart. They did not fly apart in many pieces, but it was pretty loud when they did. The rocks were not worn river rocks from the creek bed, either.
