🤩🤩🤩👍👍 Ray Stevens is one of my all-time favorites! I wasn't even born when "The Streak" was originally out... but I discovered Ray's music as a kid in the mid/late 1980s and have been a longtime fan ever since and have just about everything he's professionally recorded in my personal collection. His recording career goes back to the late 1950s.

Lol. I was in the 9th grade when this was the fad.
One Monday a classmate showed up to school telling about his weekend adventure.
He'd decided to try this streaking thing, but got caught. So his first ride in a cop car was in the back seat, hand cuffed behind him and buck assed naked!
Lololol! Thanks for the laughs Russel!

Because of Ray, my husband committed a streaking in the woods near his family’s camp, when he was 15….
He told me he’s lucky his mama didn’t come drivin’ by……..

Rays was definitely the one who made it as The Streak the song is still remembered today. I don’t even know what those other competing songs about streaking were but I know multiple people who still know The Streak.

RAY is the BEST, no matter what he does! I’ve been a “more than fan” since I was a little girl in the mid-1960’s. I was in the 8th grade when “The Streak” came out and it was on the radio so many times each day! Love that RAY!!! ❤️
