Honda has all those options and more in the Japanese models.
Why can't we get the same trim levels with the same options on the CR-V like they have in Japan. Such as, Ventilated front Seats, Heated rear seats, fog lights, panoramic sunroof, folding outside mirrors? Then Honda would be killing it in the US!
$2700 for window tint and wheel locks is highway robery
This is a nice vehicle, but at this price point Honda should have included ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, a pano roof and a larger screen. Honda missed the opportunity to make this a truly great SUV.
@@austinta4017 I agree. I had them on a toyota and I didn't feel they were beneficial at all.
Did either of you live in area where the spring to fall temps get to 90-100 degrees? Black leather kills in those temps. Can you explain why the ventilated seats were a gimmick? Thanks

Honda CRV has all those options in the Japanese models
No video review I’ve seen has ever pointed out that Honda’s eCVT is nothing at all like a regular CVT. NO BELT. Just series of gears and electric motor generators. A far superior transmission than the regular CVTs.
Would like to see a panoramic roof and power auto-folding side mirrors.
We bought one a month ago and loving it. The one thing I do wish it had: When adjusting the power seats according to the key fobs 1 & 2…I wish the power mirrors adjusted with the seat to the memory setting.
Otherwise, everything mentioned in this video is spot on.
Bought one today! They gave me a great rate and paid me nicely for my Civic trade in.

@@RHill40I don’t believe that is accurate. With hybrid batteries, it’s more a question of years rather than miles (should last at least 10+ years).
Even then, look at all the older hybrid prius’s on the road still going strong. I know they’re not Honda but I think that attests to hybrid batteries in general.

Almost bought one if not the dealer wanted $4000 add on. The salesman also said if you didn’t want to pay for it, someone else will. F that, bought a wrangler 4xe instead.

I would have done the same, walked out. Comments like 'someone else will pay' is going to come back to haunt that dealership when the market sours.
That's what they told me and I told them I want it without all that, let me know when you have it, I left 500 as a deposit and after a week they were already calling me, they wanted to charge me $200 for anti-theft nuts and I told them I didn't order that, take them off and I'll take the certified check for the price of what I ordered and left without purchasing guarantees or protection packages

This is the best Hybrid cross over out there. I can wait until the end of 2024 for this model. I will milk my 2013 Acura RDX with 90k miles until then. Interest rates will be lower as well.
Hopefuthe 2025 models will bring ventilated seats and 360 camera 😊

Huge markups in Cali for these cars and the RAV4. Thank god I'm not a fan of cross-over SUVs.
I am currently waiting for this vehicle to come in. same color/combo. As far as the moonroof. I dont' have a preference. I generally do not use it. I could do without it completely. I am so glad Honda finally re-designed this SUV. I had one back in 2012 and it was not very pretty. I am currently in a pilot and love it but need something with better gas mileage. This checks all the boxes!

Sigh... Let's be totally transparent: Those "additions" are simply disguises for MARKET ADJUSTMENT.. in short, a way to charge more than MSRP and the customer can not decline these items.. In short, it's almost pure profit...

What is the price for this vehicle ?
I bought the exact same colour in your video. However being in Canada, we only get the hybrid on the top model Touring trim. At least for 2023 that's the only way you could get one. Is it the best hybrid out there? For a non luxury brand, I would say it's definitely up there. The whole package is hard to beat. Honda just does everything well with though it lacks some of the features like panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats and a 360 camera like the competition gets. It's also quite expensive for a CRV. Other than that, this is an excellent daily commuter car with all the versatility one needs. Time to shop for a set of winter tires! 😒
In Canada, for 2024, you can get a hybrid in the EX-L and Touring trim
Yup finally got my Touring last week after waiting 6 weeks for it and paid $3000 over msrp. Looks like everyone is doing that now. Disappointed about the extra $3k especially when the dealer I was working with didn’t mention it until I got there but I love the car and I’ll get over it.

j just took delivery after waiting for a month... and I paid $500 under MSRP ! I just will never pay above MSRP, as a matter of principle.
Got mine for $3300 under MSRP. Send quotes to multiple dealerships and let them fight for your business. No one should ever be bullied into paying over MSRP. Bad enough buying a depreciating commodity... Paying over MSRP is just adding insult to injury
Just bought one for my wife as you showed. Like the car over all but as some comment say at this price should be more features. Garage door opener, 360^ back up camera, heads up display, ventilated and cooled seats to name a few. One other not it does not have duel exhaust the driver side is not an actual exhaust. I also feel they could have put the 1.5 turbo as my wife’s 2019 had and with the electric motors then would of been like 260HP. I was looking for other options but my wife will not have anything but a dependable honda.
You can upgrade the mirror to hondalink mirror for 180$. It has a built-in garage door opener. It's just another way for honda to make more money.

Heated hear seats availble in current Canadian version. My guess for the rest, plus 360 camera.....Wait for the Plug-In Hybrid version (PHEV) to come to North America if that's an option for you. Only available outside North America for now.

I have a 2022 Honda CRV. It probably is the smoothest riding SUV in its class. I’m not all that cracked up about the newly designed CRV. I’ve been looking at the 2024 CRV HYBRID Sport-L. I think they’re well built as usual, but the square look of it has stopped me from buying it. Also the prices have skyrocketed since we bought our 2022 CRV. But what hasn’t increased since then. Between high interest rates and the outlandish cost of insurance here in Orlando, I think I’ll just keep our 2022.

I paid that for my 23 Ridgeline top of the line that has a much larger interior, 5000 lbs towing, a 4’ x 6’ open bed with the gate down and 1500 payload. All for the same price.
That price is for a hybrid touring, top of the line trim. There is hybrid sport and hybrid ex-l which are cheaper.

Too much money for what you get in its class. Infotainment is outdated and too small. It would be better if honda would put it in the dashboard with wide-screen cabiblity. Get rid of the iPad look. Cup holder is awkward. Needs to be turned sideways and more forward for easier reach while driving. Seats are nothing to brag about. Needs to fit your body with side padding. The second row is awkward while in down position.
I feel the 2024 should have been overhauled to be more modern and more practical thought out. I'm not going to purchase it just because it's a honda. Giving the 2024, a 3 star.
