- This was my attempt at beating Pokémon FireRed Omega! The original attempt was 2 videos splitting the run in half. Both videos were low quality with bad voiceovers, so I decided to clean them both up, combine them, and give them full voiceovers. Enjoy!

Nuzlocke Ruleset:
1. If a Pokémon faints, then it must be permanently boxed.
2. I can only catch the first encounter on each Route.
3. No bag items in battle, except for pokéballs. (Held items are allowed)
4. Must be played on "Set" battle mode.
5. Cannot level over the next gym leader/elite 4's highest level pokémon.

i dont, honestly. sometimes the time investment doesn't feel right. all in all, it's one game in a video. the pacing of this video is fine, with plenty of detailing imo

Seems like Nick didn't remember my comment from the Last Omega video.
Sometimes it's better to take not the best Pokémon, but rather the one that forces your rivsl to take a Pokémon that's handable.
Take the Smoochum and he goes for Magby. You can always pivot the Thunder Punch into Marshomp/Swampert and kill with EQ.
Same with taking Squirtle in RR. Not because it's broken or the strongest, rather because you can more easily handle a Sleep Powder spaming Mega-Sur than a Drought Charizard-Y or a Shell Smash Blastoise lul

It took me 11 attempts to beat this game Hardcore nuzlocke, blind, no calcs, no docs.
Imo the best rom hack as for me personally having to use docs and calcs kinda changes what the game is. When you start needing calcs and docs it turns into this weird hybrid of competitive pokemon and Ai pokemon. (Which is fine, i like playing harder rom hacks) but personally the balance of a harder pokemon that you can still play like an original game without needing additional support keeps it more true to the original game its based of
