I feel like a lot of the challenge is due to it being an older generation. I would love to see how hard/easy it would be to see him do a Gen 7 littlelocke
These strats are mind-blowing! Most others rely on some degree of luck, but it's almost terrifying how you can almost completely manipulate the AI to yield the exact results you needed. Great job, and looking forward to Littlelocks for games like Platinum and Gen V's challenge modes!
I'd love to see Platinum and the Unova games too. Platinum has good shit available like Tangela (debatable but you can't deny the bulk, utility, and surprising power), Porygon, and Gligar. I don't remember either Unova game having particularly great unevolved stuff minus Ferroseed or even Scraggy (this thing is surprisingly kinda cracked even if Dragon Dance ain't available to it outside of breeding, as being decently tanky, having a good offensive typing, and hitting hard with High Jump Kick are a good combo), so it could be an interesting challenge. Eviolite is an interesting debate on if it should be allowed or not.
All of your tactics are amazing, but if I had to choose a best one for this run I still can't choose. It's either the Conversion strategy or the Destiny Bond strategy that blew my mind the most, and I can't decide which one is better, but those 2 strategies are definitely heads and shoulders above the rest.
@@cesaradrianguerrareyes3063 I literally just watched Wolfey's Normailized Trap video recently and the amounts of Skill Swap in that video were already peak Skill Swap abuse so i kinda expected Freezai to pull some kind of Skill Swap abuse already. I can't wait to see as you do more of these. Platinum would be a really interesting one and dangerous at that with the Cynthia being a massive threat with her Spiritomb, Milotic and most scary of all Garchomp.
@@mostern4008 The whole time I was sitting there wondering what the reason could be for only using one Pokemon. It's too late, but I still wanna say that Freezai's platinum run was one of the smoothest runs I had ever seen so far. Sticky barb for late game battles, Fling Buneary for Flint's Houndoom, Imprison Bronzor for Lucian's bronzong, a sucker punch Geodude to bait Mr. Mime go for attack instead of screens and cleverly manipulating trick room turns to take out Crobat, Gallade, Espeon, Alakazam, Lucario, Roserade, Garchomp and finally even Milotic with explosion (legit' was thinking how on earth is he going to get past her Milotic with only Geodude and Bronzor), this guy is a legend.
Very legendary. I love that the intensity of using such low base stat pokemon really pushes you to use every resource you have. You're exploring all these mechanics that someone who plays the games come across, but never end up using due to high damage moves being the most effective way to beat the game in a normal playthrough. Anytime I came across conversion in my years of playing pokemon, I would brush it off as to specific and small of an effect. Part of this was not knowing how it fully worked, but also due to the less grandiose effect. Whenever the ai would use it you as the player would end up defeating it. So there was no instruction on what you could use conversion for. With this type of run, everything has to be so carefully strategized that you have to go for crazy plays like low hp flail, conversion stab ice beam, pre damage baits, even using one pokemon. You really show off your creativity in tackling these challenges in each one of these videos and it is amazing to see. Really like this kind of content as well as the other typical videos you make
