Absolutely. That models makes a great proxy for Uriel Ventris or Sicarius. Must have been the people from AoS that designed that one because the recent 40k stuff has been pretty bland.
Incursors+Phobos Lt+Impulsor - Scout 6’’, move 12’’, disembark 3’’, theow grenades, shoot with lethals, move d6, throw a mine. In just one round they killed Wardog from Chaos Knights for me recently.

You already know me Vf, I've been an advocate for my Hellblasters for ages lol. Especially since using that lieutenant with Fire Discipline combo. Also, you forgot to mention something about the Infernus Squad. You select a single unit that they shot with pyreblaster and that unit has to take a battle shock test. Run multiple Infernus squads, multiple units taking battle shock. Also congratulations on the sponsor! Glad to have you back

Hellblasters with LTs are pretty brutal. I will vary between using a 5 man squad with an Lt and an Impulser and a 10 man squad, LT and and an apothecary. I'll run the 5 man with firestorm assault and the 10 man with anvil seige. 20 over charged plasma using battle drill recall for sustained 1 and +1 to wound and a 5+ crit for not moving vaporizing most things.
Hellblasters with a lieutenant and Firediciplin are crazy...they have advance and shoot, fall back charge and shoot and shoot on death. They are faster and have more range than Eradicators. And if you spend one CP more they go to AP -4, ignoring cover, with sustained and lethal hits on a 5+. Hellblasters killing absolutely everything. I'm blowing up Landraiders with a 5 man squad...very very scarry
I believe you didn't mention that Phobos Lieutenatnt's ability still allows you to make a charge move after extra 1d6" move. You can also use this ability to re-embark into transport to keep them safe. I sometimes play big squad of Incursors with Repulsor as an mobile bunker, few rounds of shooting and embarking and a very long charge when time is right. I call them "tank ninjas" 😃.

Saw a double captain with assault intercessors do some serious damage. Aggressive with first group and counter punch with second group
Most welcome my friend, we did have a big “vacation” moving to a new apartment 😂 Hellblasters with Ventris is actually pretty cool, and yeah - I feel like he’s really becoming a must have for UM lists (seems GW want us to take all named characters lol). Yeah, JPI + captain is nasty, something similar to what I’m brewing now for my competitive BA lists (soon on the channel)

Dismounted and charged with first Captain+AI, and loaded the second one in the impulsor and moved them up. Next turn charged the second Captain+AI. Used Gladius so Captain had access to free lance Strat. Could have used advance and charge with assault doctrine, but didn’t use it. I think they took down big melee units like eightbound or something.
I like to run 10 Hellblasters with liutenant and Fire discipline or Azrael for Sustained/Lethal hits. They rock in my games. Also overwatch is strong under these buffs.
@@vfminiatures and for take and scary the objetive in the middle i use a redemer with a judiciar with S10 sword with 10 assault intercesors with fire first, amazing to take the middle for a cheap cost.
Hilarious, I read the datasheet for the repulsor and saw the capacity for gravis and immediately thought okay Eradicators and Biologis in Gladius, and GW not only upped the Eradicators but the Biologis but they even upped Fire Discipline Enhancement in Gladius, surprised they left the Repulsar alone, pretty mean to nerf our best anti-tank unit into oblivion
I’d not say it’s nerfed into oblivion, but pretty seriously. They definitely want us to feel that it’s a premium combo and not meant to be in every list 🤗

Captain w The Honour Vehement + assault intercessor is a real monster. In Assault doctrine + free Honour the Chapter, you can get once per game Full re-roll, 2+HIT A10 S10 AP3 D2 power fist with lance and devastating wound💣
So how can you go 6 +3 disembak then advance and charge? :) sounds VERY good, but im not shure this is legal, imo only land raider alows that @@vfminiatures
I agree with the Hellblasters and Repulsors, althout the latter isnt exactly overlooked, but the rest is meh. They arent overlooked, there are just better options for the job that do what those units do and more.
They don't have to worry about getting shot off the board and can go exactly where you need them most and within that magical 12" for the tasty +1 strength
The most recent FAQ said that hellblasters can’t use the for the chapter ability unless it’s destroyed from an attack, so stuff like out of combat mortal wounds and out of combat resolution effects (like overcharge) will no longer trigger for the chapter- that might rethink your opinion on hellblasters but they’re still not bad to deal with elite infantry and hold down an aggressive flank- you just gotta be a little more mindful with them now

I have ran 10 Hellblasters with a Lieutenant and Azrael for like 15 games and the amount of work they have put is ridiculous. My opponents are scared of them. The sheer volume of quality fire is crazy. With both buffs, even their shoot on death is scary as hell. Plus with a 4++ invuln they take some work to deal with and they they shoot you back. So people don't really wanna shoot them. If they get tagged in melee, any light or medium threat gets demolished by Azrael and the captain. You need something big to take them down. One game, a winged hive tyrant charged them. Lille 3. Then Azrael and the captain killed him....
Hell yeah, in DA they are just unstoppable! That moment with Az killing hive tyrant sounds amazing 🤩 I really want to run them now in my Gladius lists. With DW knights going up in price I feel it will be hard to fit them in lists though
@RFischer I actually don’t know any brands in particular. Look on 3D model galleries and then find any 3D workshop on Etsy, send them them file and ask how much to print
The Repulsor trick of using overwatch and then embarking dosnt work..... Repulsor rules state its before charging unit moves..... Overwatch rules state u shoot at the beginning or at the end of chargmoves or moves or advances conclusion u would embark before u overwatch so someone cheated =P

@@vfminiaturesI'm shocked by the number of people who are running Hellblasters. I really want to like them in combination with Lethals from an LT and Oath. I just really don't like helping my opponent by killing my own models. If I overcharge the whole brick and lose 2-3 and then my opponent kills another 3-4, they've lost most of their effectiveness. And that's a 295 point unit we're talking about that basically was just a flash in the pan. I'm just not seeing the appeal unfortunately because they would need to down something like Canis Rex to make their points back.

Hellblasters just got changed, so they don’t shoot when dying by anything that is not an attack
They do if they die by their hazardus but they don't shoot back if they die by granades for example

i have 2 repulsor and 12 eradicator and the combos with that units in close combat with my salamander is really amazing.

I agree, but also Gladius and LAG arent really similar detachments. Gladius is much more versatile and shooting centric

You can, from any transport as well, unless that transport moved this turn

I enjoy 5 infernus on an impulsor to get them where they need to be fast, got a lot of milleage out of them that way

Hellblasters are the last things that can efficiently take the fire discipline since points went up
A repulsor fits 6 Sanguinary Guard + Dante. Expensive but quite useful for long charges.

Captain + Assault Intercessors is so good. I run it a lot in Blood Angels and the amount of Dev Wounds you can fish for gets ridiculous.
How you get fishing devo wounds with captain and assault intercessors? They don't have dev wounds???

Just a 3D model of the normal Repulsor turret. If you get the correct one - it fits the Rep Ex chassis and you have a fully modular tank
