I was lucky enough to go and visit a few days ago before the park opened, and I can say from personal experience that the repaints and rethemes are all looking INSANE!!!

So glad to see colossus getting some love. Now i'd love to see her with new trains, restored fountains and blue water under the track again..and she'll be back to her former glory 😍 Then all we'd need is new trains to really keep her running well!!

We are all supposed to be grateful and get excited that they have painted their rundown park. It was way overdue, all these years? Think of their profits a year and we have to wait for "Project Sparkles" and then they use it as an advertisement.
I only wish all parks would keep things looking fresh and clean.

So glad that Merlin has finally put some love into my home park. It was getting very run down.
I went to Thorpe Park right before the rebrand, and WOW! It's amazing how much has changed!! Can't wait to go back this year.

Not really a fan of the new mint branding on the entrance, it seems a bit artificial and a little too bright, but maybe thats just because it's fresh paint. The logo is also suffering the oversimplification that every other brand is going through, it doesn't really scream "theme park" any more. The refurbished rides look good though at least, and they're the most important parts.
Hyperia looks cool too, I hadn't heard anything about it but its about time for a new huge roller coaster and this seems worth the wait

I love that you’ve re painted EVERYTHING. The re theming of stealth is tip top, I was in the queue a year ago and thought I’d love to be on the squad to go round repainting the amity raceway area, and the new boulevard is amazing too and ties in with amity cove very well. Still wanna work there and definitely coming to visit soon

I’m so exited for the summer I love stealth and swarm can’t wait for Hyperia and sparkled colossus
I came for opening day which was also my birthday! 23rd :) Never been to Thorpe Park before, the weather put a stop to going on many rides and would have liked to have gone on Colossus but waited in line for it twice and both times we got moved on and they closed the ride. Managed to get 4 rides in with the fast pass which isn't amazing tbh as can usually get all the rides in at Alton Towers in a day with FP. Loved Stealth and Swarm though! If they were at AT, that would be amazing as that's my local and AT I found is better run. Was nice that TP offered free passes back another day for us all that were affected by the weather and ride closures, made the day a little better :)
If they were at AT, Swarm would be mandrill mayhem and Stealth is already Rita.
@@tayo0404I prefer the track of stealth than Rita but yes I know they are very similar I just prefer the height and drop of stealth and wish it was at AT ☺️ not seen mandrill mayhem at AT? I would say the most similar would be galactica but still not quite the same.

I'm sure the most exciting thing about the park will be the new toilets and they will be very popular with people traveling miles to see them
When will Colossus open this year? Im visiting in July and i really hope its open as it was closed last year when i had my first visit to the park in April and i don't want to miss it again!
hopefully the toilets near tidal wave aren't a slip and slide anymore!

Hyperia looks mad
New floor throughout the park would massively improve the appearance more than anything else. Also maybe more subtle music that doesn’t get annoying because it’s on 10min loop. Maybe make the tracks over an hour long so it isn’t so annoying.
Looks amazing! And super happy to see all gender toilets! Will make it a lot more comfortable for me and my fellow trans* folks to go do our business! 😁
