I've been on hyperia last Wednesday! The music on the lift hill is so good and it's so thrilling, not to mention how comfy the seats are! Best coaster in the UK!
This is absolutely my #1 roller coaster! That first drop is insane and this video really does it justice with how much you can actually SEE the airtime!
That music at the lift and at the last moment of it is a *perfect* example how powerful silence can be in a song when used right. This coaster both amplifies and builds off of it. Timing is absolutely on point, too!! Well done on the engineers, musicians, and designers! Well made ^^ I couldn't do bc of the tilts (eds joints and issue and such) but I still both can and have to completely appreciate how they incorporated all of it together so well!
Mack created an incredible layout in the space they had. The inversions after the Kremer turn feel similar to Zadra but with more airtime. Audio on the lift was a nice surprise. They really need a viewing area by the splashdown though. Missed opportunity for better inclusion with spectating guests and photography.
I absolutely love rollercoasters. I will be honest that first drop scared the crap out of me lol. Then afterwards it was just magical, I remember clapping on the outerbank and stall. Great coaster
1:34 Is literally the part where you just look down and forget this is real life. IT HAPPENS TO ME FOR ALL MY RIDES. It feels like a dream when your twisting. It's weird but its the best feeling I've ever had in my life (especially on opening day)
Went a month ago and managed 5 rides in a day (my first time at Thorpe Park in around 20 years, there were others I wanted to visit too). Loved every second - despite standing in the single rider queue before ride 1 seriously regretting my life choices and wondering what I had let myself in for!!
wish the collosus seats had more padding on the head rest litterelly got a concussion from hitting my head on the side of the seat- honestly great ride tho love the barrel rolls
Going to Thorpe park for the first time at the start of September and there's still a long time left but I can't stop watching these pov videos lol, I'm so excited to go on this
I just went today and even though I knew the drop would be intense, it took me off guard so much! You get catapulted out of your seat against the restraint! It’s so fun but also scary
The splash down oh my it’s so orange xD but looking forward to visiting England and Thorpe in the future it’s def my next priority after I’ve been on Voltron quite a few times.
Finally got to ride this week. Super fun coaster and I loved it but it's disappointingly short. However, the ride up the lift hill is pretty cool in itself
Going to thorpe Park on Saturday (28th September 2024) and I must admit as much as I'm looking forward to this ride, I'm worried it may be overrated. Literally only 4 proper drops and number 5 is the return to the station. Question for anyone that's been on it, is it worth it and would you say it's the best ride in the UK?
I went on this ride! Its really fun and fast, i held my hands up but my arms kept getting blown away! I felt like i was flying out of my seat, its secure though, lol.
not really i dont like heights either but honestly its not bad, the ride goes so fast you barely notice your up high but the lift hill takes a while so try not to be nervous just enjoy it
I’m going to Thorpe park with my cousin and it’s my first time going to Thorpe park, and I would love to go on hyperia but the only thing that puts me off is the lap bar. I love rides such as the smiler, nemesis reborn but is it worth it with the lap bar?
Ranks for me as the best in the Uk, was probably better than all the coasters i have done in florida too, but that was a good 15 years ago so they have got alot of good rides i haven't tried over there since then. And its hard to really judge something you havent rode in over a decade too, that first drop and outerbank roll is unlike anything else ive done though
What's the recording policy for this ride? Are they very strict with strapped in gopros or chill? I could be going here this summer so i wanna know. Great POV!
@@AttractionSource hello I have requested a hour exclusive use of Hyperia after hours I’m just waiting on prices and date of this goes ahead would be interested in joining me to do more content ?
I actually went on it for the first time today, you get catapulted out of your seat in the first drop! It’s terrifying but fun, and it’s faster than stealth and swarm
@@AttractionSource it was brilliant, I think I was just intimated because of how intense Saw was the ride before (I greyed out completely at the end). Turns out Saw was easily the most intense and Hyperia was actually super smooth and incredibly thrilling rather than painful (especially in the drop section and the up side down but). I ended up doing every coaster at the park 😭
The layout is INCREDIBLE and I adored this when I rode it last weekend, but it still feels just a little unfinished. The "splashdown" is barely a splash (to the extent where I'm not sure it even worked on my ride?) and the surrounding area looks very barren. Hopefully once the foliage surrounding the ride grows in a bit more it'll feel more complete!
Looks abit naff tbh. Could of set many cool things about it the highest in the UK by many feet not just 1, awesome banked turns, close inversions after the big one on hang time, fast snappy barrel rolls into other hard turns then another say half way through the groubd inversion but no... It will be outdone soon...
Despite the fact that it’s short, the music on the lift is awesome, and the layout is so unique!
Agree - such a great build up!
Real

@@AttractionSource yup
Stop pretending it’s good. It sucks. Didn’t match the hype and it’s diarrhoea

They really made that first turn into something really special with the music and effects!
Agree, is quite the spectacle in the queue too!
@@AttractionSource I love how you can hear the dispatch and a bit of the lift in the queue so much, it really adds to the atmosphere!
That music at the lift and at the last moment of it is a *perfect* example how powerful silence can be in a song when used right. This coaster both amplifies and builds off of it. Timing is absolutely on point, too!! Well done on the engineers, musicians, and designers! Well made ^^

I love the lift hill audio so much!
A great POV. You've captured the sound effects especially the lift hill music.
Thank you!
The landscaping is starting to look great!

I Saw You Filming It On 29 June! So Sad I Didn't Hear About This Event In The First Place
That music leaving the station when a train is dispatched has to be one of the most incredible sounding things I have ever heard, no joke!😂…Wow lol
I've ridden it 5 times between 2 trips to the park and am heading back for more in a couple of days!
The 2020s have dropped some serious banger hypercoasters so far.
awesome pov and the ride area looks to be getting better

It was closed during my visit so I'll never know😭

Ive been on it 4 times single rider
Been on 3 times with 2 back row rides thanks to single rider queue 👌

I closed my eyes throughout. It was absolute hell !!!
This looks like Stealth, the Swarm and Colossus all mashed into one coaster.
I went to Hyperia 4 hours ago twice. I went home and am ready to sleep and I still feel dizzy from it.
236ft drop with a 168ft loop thrown in just for an extra thrill factor. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING ride.
Bro I went today with my dad at the back, it was the best experience (and Stealth)
I love the lift audio so much
The first time I rode this I just yelled
“LONG LIVE HYPERIA” at the first drop
Finally got to ride this week. Super fun coaster and I loved it but it's disappointingly short. However, the ride up the lift hill is pretty cool in itself
This ride is so cool but did any of you notice the green top man taking a picture of the ride at the end 😂 2:36
Oh Yh! And another guy in a white T-shirt is tooooo! 2:16
236 that’s a familiar number may or may not be the height of Hyperia
The change in the lift hill music is hard to notice mainly because it sounds a bit quiet
Mack Rides on fire🔥
Voltron Nevera👌 Hyperia👌the ride to Happiness👌
👉Work of art👈
Usually i laugh like a maniac but this ride actually made me shriek in terror
I can't wait to get down there once the kids go back to school

that outer-bank 🧽

I still don't know where to rank it because I was shitting myself too much to analyse 😂 That first drop is terrifying in the best way
Haha, well done for conquering it!
I’m queuing for this right now
Damn that trim completely ends the momentum of the ride. Idk I had more hype when it was being built. 🤷
Brilliant pov 👏
Amazing POV. It looks like a really good coaster.
Thanks. Can't wait to ride it with you!
