“I want more things to shoot and more explosions near my ship.”
I don’t think endless shooting gallery is the style the game is going for.
Agree there needs to be a way for solo players to command the crew to handle more tasks.

Having been a Cruise ship musician for 10 years, Ive seen enough ports to know they all look different.

I expect more resistance when in battle, I never got to shoot at any planes apart from at the beginning at the tutorial missions, it makes the game boring.
@@GotchaVR To each their own. I think it’s intended to be a slow-paced, realistic sim. Uboats mostly did open ocean commerce raiding. Getting spotted by a plane would have often been a death sentence. A crew would really have to be in a unique situation to even use their deck guns. Personally, I find it more immersive when military games embrace the slow-burn and make the player understand that for every minute of action there could weeks and weeks of routine preparation and inactivity. Makes encounters more meaningful to me.

I understand its a simulator game, but its also a game, I don't think there aim was to target Submarine operators only. The game needs tons of work.
If the idea is to just sit there doing nothing for 2 or 3 weeks... then they got that part Spot ON. lol@@Akerzun

They should have stayed with just porting uboat to VR! That would have been the right way.
Games on sale so i got it
Hopefully you got it for at least 50%, maybe some updates have improved it since I reviewed it, but it needed alot of work.
I'm pretty sure this game is good in multi-player
Try it, but don't say I haven't warned you. Maybe the 8 updates have fixed it a little, but it's just not a game I will EVER go back to.
@@GotchaVR Do you know if this is the same game as "Iron Wolf" on PC VR? which was similar to "Star Trek Bridge crew? Iron Wolf VR was a lot of fun If you had a dedicated crew of buddies (no Randos) who are willing to learn the various interfaces and procedures. If this is the same thing on Quest 2 and 3 , I might get my submarine crew back together
@@wonderrob3225 I mean, maybe with a team you know, and with all the updates this has had since I reviewed it... maybe its better now, but I honestly have no desire to even return to check.
Im really not sure if its like 'Iron Wolf" as Ive never played it sorry.
I must asked as im getting it for Christmas is the multiplayer full or not beacuse i would love to be like to movie 'das boot' and yell ALARM DIVE DIVE DIVE
haha, only played 2 games online as I found it a terrible experience, theirs a phone and a phone book of numbers you use to dial into multiplayer games (theirs a clip of it in my video) I think there was about 4 or 5 online games to join, I think you might be ok for the christmas period, but Im not sure afterwards, it's just not a game I'll be returning to until they have done a few updates.

@GotchaVR Don't get me wrong, I wasn't expecting gameplay of Silent Hunter proportions, but to get gameplay akin to Silent Service was a major bummer. ☹️
I don't even understand how this game is allowed to be sold, I think there needs to be some sort of regulations before games like this ruin the reputation of Quest games... and then no one will buy them, or at least it will slow VR's progress down. VR is still so new antis so exciting to see where it's all heading.@@gerrabath
