I feel like the beeping and the other machine sounds symbolizes 2BDammed trying to keep hank alive, while the harmonic sounds that come in later symbolize heaven, and that the two are fighting to see where hank ends up.
Wow, this song is actually completely different than the impression I got of it from the animation. Both are awesome, and now I've got a new thing to listen to on loop an unhealthy number of times.
Most people mention MC3 as the first time they heard this music, but I heard it first in Madness Interactive. I had good memories playing that game as a kid.
Love how there's literally a community of weird kids who watched this when they were young. I was born in 2003, so I first watched madness when I was like 10-12. And I still occasionally watch all the episodes. Today is the first time that I actually came and listened to the soundtrack, and gotta say, I love it so much. This sounds so chill
this song is very good, sad that the full version wasn't in the flash of this series from 2003 and only partially played in the third episode of the series
Even though this song wasn't specifically made for Madness (I don't think), it still fits perfectly for the beginning of Madness 3. Where Hank is mindlessly killing Grunts for the third time now, where it's basically down to an exact rhythm for him. Up until the drive is activated, to which then everything starts going crazy and Calliope kicks in, a lot more delirious of a track. That, and this song is a banger from beginning to end. Half of the enjoyment is the thumbnail being a Grunt's final moments, and the song seems to also fit what might've been going inside his head before being stabbed, with the way he was walking. Some form of ignorant optimism that keeps these Grunts going even after hundreds have been killed prior to Madness 3. I don't know why I love this song so much-
Mate... the memories... The action of Hank J. Wimbleton. He infiltrated my base and yet... he failed. But he gets me on Episode 3, so... crap. Fair play though... fair play.
not even joking, in MC1 i found the guy killing everybody (Hank) just the main character, and in MC2 he is found smoking a cig but then killed and I thought "wow the protag. in this story isn't really main now is he" and then in MC3 i thought that literally yet ANOTHER GUY was the main character because in MC2 Hank got shot straight first in the fucking head and i thought "yea that can't be the protag.! how would someone survive a clean shot in the head" i then learned it's madness combat. fucking reviving everybody
You gotta love what sounds like the beeping of life support, since the last we saw of Hank he had a deagle round through his skull.
Lol
.. man my first thought was a microwave beep LMAO
I feel like the beeping and the other machine sounds symbolizes 2BDammed trying to keep hank alive, while the harmonic sounds that come in later symbolize heaven, and that the two are fighting to see where hank ends up.
And at the End where it mostly is the harmonic sounds is 2bdammed failing to keep Hank alive.

"Objectives:
-kill _insert big bad guy here_
-be stealthy *(o p t i o n a l)"*
Music that plays in your head when you zone out and slowly come back to reality:

Hank: hello babe
