Yup. My saving grace is that I wouldn't have gotten those celebrity names either.
This is me
When someone tells me their name the first time, in 2 seconds, I forget.
Nah. I'd be unashamed of how unremarkable these people were
Hader nailed this one. The look on his face after he says "I would listen" is awesome. All three of them killed this skit.
Yeah! Bill, Cecily, and the other one nailed it.
"the other one" is john mulaney, who hosted this episode and wrote this sketch.
@@gracebaur3925 You missed the joke.

Bills face when Mulaney was trying to figure out the girlfriends name.

Bill Hader is just absolutely amazing.
Audience: "Mara!"
Mulaney: "I said Mara!"
Bill: "Yeah, but you didn't know it."

Random but i want to make this my voicemail since its my name haha

John Mulaney: “I am so sorry.. LARA? JARA?”

This is simply one of the greatest sketches ever written. Not just hilarious, but totally relatable for any person who's ever met someone else (even multiple times) and then immediately forgotten their name. Which is pretty much everyone.
John Mulaney and Bill Hader are the perfect chaos combo

"You're not seeing double, there's 3 women"
Underrated
i don't get it
the best line by far
I got it!
I must be seeing double. Six women!
@@zoeslounge95 It's just funny because it doesn't make sense. First they look nothing alike, but the main joke is that if you're seeing double, you see two of something. There's 3. It would be triple. It's just that it doesn't make sense. And it passes by so quickly that most miss it.
this is an absolute perfect performance by Bill Hader, the way he says "10 million dollars" after the pause he makes always cracks me up
I could totally see Bill Hader playing a villain in the MCU
Alternate universe Loki
Hayward
Make this happen.
Mcu can't have great vilain
I could see him as Green Goblin, Hydroman, or possibly Absorbing Man
That´s it. I am in love with Bill Hader´s characters. All of them. Whatever.
I think it's Hader himself that you're in love with, my friend. I don't blame you.
Surely his characters are bourne of his actual self, so maybe. :-)
The cat in the hat was great
@Purplekitty No one cares who you are in love with. Keep that to yourself please.
Same but with Cecil

“Right in the eye!!”

My favorite part! 😂😂

Jeez this is so good. I think they snuck a few jokes in that the cast hadn't seen and were just reading off the prompt. Bill trying to keep it together describing "the Squad" and bridesmaids struggling are gold!
I laughed SO HARD at "I would listen"
so did I!!
In “Bowling for Columbine” that’s what Marylin Manson told Michael Moore he would say to kids who shot up Columbine.

Mustache Walrus I wish he’d come back too. So skilled and funny!
Stephanie Williams omg the season premiere about the cult in Oregon. I laughed so fucking hard.

Bill is so good at so many things, I have the gut feeling he will come back to SNL to take over from Lorne Michaels if he ever goes into retirement.

John Mulaney switches lines like this without telling Bill so he cracks live. You can tell by Bill's reaction this one almost got him.
Can't believe this is where the meme is from
The way he says 'chaos' while you can just see him picturing what it means to him in his mind... brilliant. Hader really deserves a great film career.
Have you watched Barry? It's Bill Hader... as a hitman. It's the best TV I've seen in years, you should watch it if you havent!
@Geoffrey You should check out his role in #TheSkeletonTwins and his HBO series Barry.
Barry, Skeleton Twins, Trainwreck, Superbad, Tropic Thunder, Knocked Up, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, South Park (the Fish Sticks episode was his brainchild - he won an Emmy for it), The To Do List, Clear History, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Front Desk episode, Hot Rod, 2 episodes of Punk'd, The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby, Pineapple Express, Sausage Party, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 1 & 2, Angry Birds, Ice Age (3rd movie, he was a sassy gazelle), Finding Dory, Inside Out, ...
Bill Hader in this is perhaps my favorite SNL character/performance ever. Everything he does and how he does it is all so perfect. He’s over the top… without looking like he’s trying too hard. Masterful.
