Beautiful. I really love the curve, that you sort of "played it by ear" without drawn out plans, and you did it with simple tools. A Craftsman.

My ancestors are from Germany, actually, at some point I'll share in a video a little more about that and why I got into woodworking which has a lot to do with my German great grandfather.

    Hi Keaton,
I learned a long time ago that there is never enough time, space, or money. So if you want to actually do something, figure out how to do it without those « essentials » . Looks like you’ve got that figured out. And the result speaks for itself. Well done.
    Cheers,
    Keith

Hi Keyton! It’s nice to find another channel with quality videos making great content. So many woodworkers I’ve watched over the years have had their channels blow up resulting in them building their dream shops, making over the top projects and getting all kinds of sponsors. Eventually as a normal guy working in your garage you can’t relate to them anymore. I’m so glad you’re doing what you’re doing. Keep it up!

Why I like this table....original design, my favorite type of wood, the exquisite pattern in the wood, and your dedication to creating something to your standards instead of cookie-cutter designs made to someone elses standards. And, because it's simply beautiful.

I was just scrolling in youtube when I passed your video. I love it when people make something totally different. Something THEY love. Not what others want to see. I also only have a double garage for a shop, and in there, with the tools I have, things happen. And I am able to provide for my family. Thank you for that video

It was funny when I started to appreciate the simpleness of your shop and how down to Earth is it you just started to voice over about it. I'm pretty sure soon you'll find yourself in a nice, clean, well equipped and dedicated shop but your current state is a great example for many of us who haven't even started yet.

Very happy your video showed up in my algorithm thing. An incredible build with outstanding video production. For what its worth: I really appreciate woodworkers who operate in smaller shops with basic tools due obviously to relatability. I have seen many UA-cam woodworkers "graduate" from simpler shops to very large and expensively equipped shops with CNC and 5HP table saws etc. and then I can no longer relate to their builds (although I am sincerely happy for their success). Thanks for the great video and best of luck as you pursue your dreams.

The design is gorgeous! I love the detailed joinery, the sliding dovetails are a neat idea for allowing the solid top to move with the seasons while have structural integrity and a thought toward its future to last as I know it’ll be passed down eventually. I love how the drawers are cut around to perfectly shape the beautiful legs! I love how the legs magically fit into the stretchers…Keep creating like this, it’s refreshing and thoughtful, again the joinery means worlds to me as I see more and more ppl post pocket hole projects and the art of this craft gets lost in ease and convenience! More pls!!! I’m very impressed with your style and look forward to more ideas and craftsmanship

Great design and great video. One comment - you are getting so much vibration when hand sawing because your are about 12 inches away from the clamping point in the vise. If you move the work piece down into the vice with only an inch or two sticking out, you can eliminate that vibration and saw more accurately and smoothly. Cheers.
