- Testing and Tuning of the AMK LCG Chassis Parts Bin Build. Built using 95% Amazon parts. Even the stuff i di not buy on Amazon, is available on Amazon. THIS IS NOT A PAID AD. This AMK LCG chassis went together fairly easy. I did not use the center skid plate that came with the kit. I'm using a Treal center skid and it still was a straight forward, With a 4 link front and rear, servo on axle, and 9imod outrunner motor (sub $40 at time of purchase) I apologize in advance for the ESC noise.

After listening to some other videos with the side winder ESC installed, I can say with confidence that it is you motor pinion being too tight that is causing all of the noise. There needs to be a bit of a gap between the gears and that should quiet it down. Then your friends will crawl with you again....LOL! Truck looks and goes great and the wheels look super.
About 15 minutes ago, I just changed pinons, and everything looked good. I may have had too much of a gap, if anything. I did find 2 gritty bearings. Maybe changing trans to a low profile type.
Any suggestions on transmissions?
@@OGRadGrow I like to use the red sticky bearing grease in the tranny's. I am very liberal with it as well.
I recently replaced the transmission and finally got it work out. Thanks for the help. I have a video on the first trans with 30% overdrive but that didn't workout. I went back to a new 3 gear and she's quite as a mouse now. 👍🏾
