With every note it strikes, each trap on the instrument, it hurls you back to the raw essence of your youth, when days unfolded with a simpler, more vibrant hue. Everything felt fluid, like a languid dream, as you sat at home, enveloped in the soundtrack of simpler times playing endlessly on the menu screen. We miss you, gone were the days...

Games are created by game lovers, simple fact. Now games are being stripped apart from what they were originally made for only financial gains. If they still focused on putting heart, soul and emotion into games again, they will realize they can make so much more financial gain along the way.
This is one of the best designed games I've ever played. It's visually gorgeous, the level design is great, and even little things like the minimalist beauty of the menu and this accompanying music made this game one of the most memorable and cherished gaming experiences I've ever had. Closing my eyes and listening to this song is still the most liberating feeling in the world to me after all these years. Memories of bombing my bike down the hills around my hometown or running as fast as I could through my neighborhood during the summer always come to my mind.
It would be so cool to actually be able to live and be apart of this era of mirrors edge and run around the city 🌃
I almost cannot believe that games used to be routinely this cool, and nowadays a 4/10 is way above average.
play mirrors edge with this on repeats it makes the game so much more epic
Pure melancholy. Wipes all my worries away instantly, while simultaneously making me slightly sad. It's almost a good sad, if there is such a thing.
Games are created by game lovers, simple fact. Now games are being stripped apart from what they were originally made for only financial gains. If they still focused on putting heart, soul and emotion into games again, they will realize they can make so much more financial gain along the way.
Short term profitare killing these companies, and I'm all for it, they haven't been good for years.
This is what the future sounds like.
This is one of the best designed games I've ever played. It's visually gorgeous, the level design is great, and even little things like the minimalist beauty of the menu and this accompanying music made this game one of the most memorable and cherished gaming experiences I've ever had.
This game's going to go down as a classic.
Still listening this track after all these years. This is such perfect track for the game and really sets the tone. This is so pure, clean..amazing.
Mirrors Edge music is simply the best video game music I have ever heard! And then combined with the graphics... Awesome!!! I hope Mirrors Edge 2 will at least partially live uptop the first title. But based on the fact, that it is being created by the same studio, I have great hopes :)
***** I could stand the DLCs but microtransactions would be killing it for me. But I don't think they will implement that.
***** did they implement microtransactions there? I own the game, but haven't played it. I stopped after a few minutes.
***** that's a joke in itself: Money for Garbage :D
Mirrors Edge 2 only after 2016 ;-;
arthur cavalcanti That was a rumor, no official release date has been confirmed.

How can you be homesick to a place you've never been to?
This game is so special in a very good way and you get that feeling when playing it.
Every time I thought of this theme, I could only remember playing the demo countless times until getting the full version back when it came out. I was only about 4-5 years old. Just finished catalyst today after I couldn’t get mirrors edge off my mind. This theme is pure nostalgia and memories for me that make me both happy and sad, when I realize that those days won’t come back to me; and it brings a tear to my eye sometimes. I’m an emotional wreck. At too young of an age too considering this was about 9-10 years ago
The levels of satisfaction this theme gives is immeasurable
By the Emperor I shed a damned tear hearing this again......
Brother, sisters......I miss the Golden Age
Hey guys, I’m back….sighhhhhhh, it’s like I enter a realm of just peace and knowing people here just….UNDERSTANDS!!!! Peace &Love man 🙏🏼 12:36am 11/24
i always get into a dream like state whenever i listen to this, games like this is what life is all about folks
dam this game as old as me n yet its still so good
Faith and Isaac Clarke from Dead Space would be perfect to team up together, a great duo by both "EA" games
2008.. it was a simpler and calmer time. There were no global conflicts, no pandemic, no tik tok, no mumble rap music, and youtube wasn't part of greedy google
2008...we need go back 👋🤝🏻
there were still global conflicts in the world
Bro there were wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Russia invaded Georgia in 2008.
"there were no global conflicts" HOW CAN YOU JUST SAY THAT LOL
@@noktu Do you know the definition of global conflicts?
This music sounds like you are standing on top of the biggest building of the city, with the brightest sun above your head and you catch this scent that you've smelled before,
goosebump type beat
