I remember playing this game during middle school, it was a much simpler time indeed, when I'd be play COD WaW for hours, discover jewels like Mirror's Edge and hangin' out with my friends. I constantly remember those days during this these insane times we're living through

I think the problem is that big companies nowadays don’t want to take risks and try to innovate… they just want to make more money. Mirrors Edge wasn’t that popular of a game because it wasn’t your typical Call of Duty or similar type of game. It was an experiment, which is a big financial risk for a video game studio and publisher. We will never have a game as unique as this, or games like the ones that came out during this era, because the games that are made today are financed by people unwilling to take risks on things that are unique

yeah, catalyst definitely took another approach that took it far away from the 2008 mirror's edge, don't get me wrong catalyst can be a fun game but og is definitely a unique game worth revisiting.

I can’t believe this game is 10 fucking years old. Great memories. And THIS is how you do a female protagonist well. Every modern game has to point out to you that the protag is a woman, when here she was just a great character. Probably one of the very last AAA games to not even have any multiplayer.
