Thanks for showing us how to replace the injectors. Seems like a lot of stripping & rebuilding is involved...... but ......... now it's done, you should get many happy years of motoring out of her.
They're not for the faint of heart! However they're not impossible to work on. Very rewarding when done correctly. They were designed using CAD so they used ALL the space they could😂
Thankfully I've got one in the drift car. Works wonders! I really wanted to at an event this year, but may be up to learning in a parking lot. The displacement on demand has ruined the cam in my truck, so I need to address that before I start towing a bunch to tracks 3-4 hours away. Unfortunately I'm in the dry area of indiana :(
Hey buddy i like the content but would you mind sharing the link or web were you got your injectors from im trying to get my sons car too running since it was a graduation gift from his uncle
Here is a set of NA injectors. Make sure to grab the adapter kit if you have a phase 1 lower intake or fuel rail. www.zshackperformance.com/products/aus-275-cc-new-style-injectors-10188-275-6-0-90-96-nissan-300zx
Thank you! Id check into your ptu. If it has the subharness between the wiring harness and ptu, check the square plugs for corrosion. If they're badly corroded, they will need bypassed.
For some reason. For mine the fuel injector does not want to go in at all. No matter how much force i put into it it just wont seat properly at all. Any ideas to ss why its doing that?
What Josh said, if you have new orings that haven't been squished or if you're reusing old orings they're likely hard/brittle. Just had to do this 2 days ago but as a last resort, tighten the cap down evenly half a turn each side until its fully seated. After doing this I ALWAYS pull the injector back out and inspect for a pinched oring. If not you'll be back after you get it all back together 😁 Hope this helps!
Thankyou both. I did exactly that but i still see a little gap from the front where the injector pigtails goes to. Not sure if that very little gap would make a difference
I will keep that in mind! Currently ones I'd be willing to get rid of would have to be sold to free up some funds for the rest of my projects. However I have a couple plans/things in the works and may be able to hook you up!
Great video, i like your attention to detail and the way you explain things.
Appreciate you!🙏

Anytime man!
There is definitely a lot of unnecessary things to remove on a z to make it more tolerable to service.
10k miles in so far!
Duuude!! Sick video! Very informal and very easy to follow along. Keep up the great work.
Glad to be of assistance!
Appreciate ya🙏
Thanks for the video mate and as others have said, you explain things well and straight to the point, good stuff. Cheers from New Zealand!
Appreciate you!!
Always helps to have a bit more context
Damn 😅😅😅🫡A lot of work
Only a couple hours worth!
Holy crap and to think I was considering one of these cars. They look extremely harder to work on than any bmw I’ve ever owned.

I love your videos
Do you know what causes fuel flooded on Nissan 300zx sometimes my cars cranks but I don’t have spark
Thank you!

Any tips to anyone who’s planing to do this alone with not that much knowledge ?
Take your time and remember where your bolts/nuts go.

What I did was put the caps back on and screw it back down, just make sure to oil it up real good so it doesn’t pinch the seal
